Great food. Nice service. I ordered the vegetarian wrap. My husband ordered several dishes. The masala chai tea was really yummy. Remember spicy means hot and spicy. Really spicy. Yum!

Unilocal reviews didn’t disappoint! Greeted by a very nice young man and his mother. Stopped in for the first time at dinner time with my 12 yr old foodie girl of mine. No dinner buffet available only for lunch. That’s what I’ve been wanting to try. Our server Pri(sp?) took our order of entrees 1 butter chicken entrée and 1 chicken tikka masala. I really wanted to try the tandoori chicken but ordering a third entrees wasn’t an option. Until Pri suggested the Tandoori Mix? He explained exactly what I’d been craving. Tandoori Chicken Drumsticks, Lamb spiced perfectly, and chunks of Tikka Chicken on a bed a sautéed veggies. He did mention this dish would take 30 min to make but worth it. Well when it came, it was sizzling like fajitas & came with limes. My daughters Chicken Tikka Masala looked amazing and tasted every bit of deliciousness.

Very tasty. Had the lamb curry and goat curry. 2 kinds of naan. Everything fresh. Owners are quite kind and attentive. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic food! We live out by Arden and are willing to drive all the way out to Roseville just to get some Indian food. Our favorites are the Samosas, Milan Tandoori Special and Chicken Tikka Masala. Would recommend this place to everyone who enjoys great Indian food. The family that owns this restaurant provides outstanding customer service. You won’t find such a welcoming and family run restaurant anywhere else.

I got Milan to cater my birthday dinner, which was fantastic! All my guests were amazed at the food, service and crew people; everything turned out beautifully. In addition, the times I’ve gone to eat at the restaurant itself, the people are sweet, the food is fantastic and the ambiance is great. Have tried a good mix of dishes and I’ve always felt satisfied. Especially with the tandoori chicken; while all others make it dry, Milan actually makes it juicy and beyond belief yummy! This review is long over due, but if you’re in the area and are in the mood for some traditional cooking, check this place out!

I love Indian food and that’s why we were so excited to find this place so close to home. I was excited to try a restaurant with such high ratings. We went there to try the lunch buffet and was disappointed. We were hungry when we got there, I’d think I’d like the food more if I’m hungry but that trick didn’t work either. Their food is too bland. I’ve been to other Indian restaurant and the food is so much better! They don’t have much in the buffet either. To be fair, they have a very good Naan bread, freshly baked! I ordered 2 chai tea which we never got. I looked around and there’s only two customers in the restaurant customer service wasn’t so good when the restaurant is not too busy but nobody’s around to check if you need anything. The entrance to the restaurant is pretty but the food could have been better. Let me breakdown my ratings here: 2 stars for food quality 2 stars for service 3 stars for ambience

Worst food, went for lunch buffet on sunday, only one veg curry and only one dessert that too not eatable. Will never go here again. Waste of money and time. Bad service too.

Excellent meal. New restaurant. Been open for only a few weeks. We had the tikka masala, potatoe naan and garlic naan and the galub jamun for dessert. Best indian I have had around here for awhile. Dropped a star just because the place still looks a little unfinished.

I’m trying to understand all the 5 star reviews. I have concluded that it all depends on what you value. You will rate this restaurant as 5 star if you are not very acquainted with Indian food, value high volume of food, and value lower than market prices. You will rate this restaurant as 3 star if you value high quality authentic Indian food, and you care about restaurant temperature and ambiance. The chili paneer dish had a sauce that tasted like it was 90% ketchup. The saag paneer was good not great, but the quality of the paneer was very good. The chicken tikka masala had a good sauce but the chicken was dry and hard and was definitely reheated from a prior occasion — didn’t even taste like same day. The rice was average and the naan was good. The service was like going to a family’s house, but not like a well orchestrated restaurant. Some may prefer the«going to momma’s» experience. There were no Indians eating there at all, which if representative, would be telling. Always go to Indian restaurants that are filled with Indians. :-) Likable staff, but we won’t be going back.

I’m back in the Roseville area again, and looking for some lunch. I Unilocaled all the Indian restaurants with lunch buffets, and seems they all have a buffet at lunch for around $ 9.00. This one Milan Curry House, from the name you’d think it was in Italy, but it’s right here in Roseville CA! I arrived at this a bit out of the way strip mall in the middle of the lunch hour, but I was greeted by an empty restaurant. Well, I’m here so let’s go for it. I get a seat in the very large dining room, chairs all covered in white with blue sashes, make me think I’m at a wedding. Walking up to the buffet, I tell the host, yes, I’d like some fresh baked naan! Well, of course! I see a small salad selection and then covered buffet items. Nothing is labeled, so you better just know what you’re looking at, or the host will tell you. A small rice cooker holds the basmati rice as I start with that. There’s a smaller selection of items then a lot of buffets I’ve been to, but as long as they have what I like it’s all good. There’s a lamb curry, chicken marsala, and tandoori chicken, plus other that I have no idea what they are. My interests are in the chicken marsala and the tandoori chicken. Getting back to my table, I dig in after my food poses for pics! Yum! This tandoori chicken is really good! They use mostly just thighs and a few drumsticks like tandoori usually is. Not like a junky place I went to in Reno once that just served odds and end pieces that seems like scraps at the buffet. This is a good one with good flavor, a little more spice than some… I like it! The chicken marsala goes well slathered atop the rice. The spices and flavors are a good balanced effort for this dish, though there’s mostly sauce and not that much chicken to be found, but I really care more about the sauce and I get my chicken fix with the tandoori. I go back for more, but after 6 pieces of tandoori chicken and 2 helpings of rice and marsala, along with munching on the lovely fresh naan, I’m stuffed. I found Milan Curry House on Unilocal and went to their website where you can print a discount coupon for lunch that gives you the lunch buffet for $ 8.99 instead of $ 9.99. This was a very good Indian buffet despite the lack of other diners. I’d be back here a lot if I lived here or worked in the area. Give it a try if you’re in the area.

My husband and I ate here a couple of months ago and I haven’t had the time to write a review — this place was delicious! I’m so excited to find a good Indian restaurant so close to my house. I had the vindaloo and it was top notch. I actually can’t believe I haven’t been back yet but I definitely will! One thing I will say is that when we went in there was only 1 waiter for the whole restaurant, I guess everyone else was working a catering event. Our waiter did his best but it did take awhile for him to get to us and take our order. The food was definitely worth the wait.

Medium spices and the Butter Chicken wasn’t too hot, but not bland. The perfect blend of spices. I love having such great Indian food close to home. The Chai tea and goat was delicious! The Garlic Naan wasn’t burn or doughy. Cooked to perfection. Nice, friendly staff. I have returned 3 times and have yet to be disappointed. I am due to return next week and can’t wait to try more.

It was a cute environment. the staff was super friendly. i enjoyed the butter chicken, but the garlic Naan was burnt. the tea is not included like in Most indian resturants. the price was alittle to high for lunch especially since they have a small selection.

Having lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years, we have never dined at this location. Over the 20 it was Japanese/sushi and maybe a Mexican restaurant but nothing lead us to believe we should check the place out. After seeing many diners inside and reading the Unilocal reviews, I was curious so today we have a very late lunch here. OMG, I can totally see what everyone is excited about. Roseville is a city of food/restaurants but sadly the ones in West Roseville are nothing exciting. But now we have something to be excited about. The place décor is cute, it’s very clean and we were greeted by smiles. It was a great experience and we will be back. We had the pleasure of meeting Manning, very handsome, super intelligent and charming! He made excellent suggestions on the menu and we were not disappointed. Can I give this restaurant 6 stars? I’m thrilled it’s in my backyard. We will be getting to know each other! Love this place. Top 10 of my favorites!

This is definitely the best Indian food in Roseville. We’ve been three times since it opened and haven’t been disappointed yet. The owners are super friendly, I’ve only seen the two of them working so if there are more than a few tables service can be a tad slow, but it’s worth it. It’s in a part of town with few good food options, and it’s in an odd lot that’s had little luck keeping restaurants, but I hope it makes it!

Just returned from a scrumptious dinner! I’m very skeptical about lamb kebabs at any Indian restaurant but this place does the most amazing tandoori grill! The lamb kebabs were absolutely delicious! My family ordered the butter chicken and I the chilli paneer with naan breads. We know this is definitely our to go to place for Indian food. The service was great and the owner is very down to earth and will give you his time, not rushed! Thank you for making our family Christmas dinner filling and enjoyable!

Our food was amazing and the staff was so nice and helpful. We had dinner and had the chicken tikka masala, chaat, chili chicken and samosas. We were so full and had lots of left overs due to the great portions. We will definitely be back!

Tried this place twice so far, seriously delicious spicy chicken curry. Wife had the paneer tikka masala, she really liked it too. Good portions, nice looking little resturaunt too. Staff has been pleasant. Not one complaint!

Great new restaurant in West Roseville! Can’t really say I have had a lot of Indian cuisine but this place definitely sold me on it. Got a table right away and the service was great. Food was great. Had the Papri Chaat for an appetizer and Chili Chicken for entrée. Both items were unique and had lots of bold flavors. Portions are generous. And prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be returning for the lunch buffet so I can try other dishes.

Came in on a Saturday night there were a few people in the restaurant and many to go orders! The man that took out order was really nice super attentive, and explained the menu items well. We started off with the samosas which were superb, when you come here those are a must. I ordered the chicken tikka and my boyfriend ordered the curried lamb both were excellent! Let’s not forget the garlic naan that was delicious. I also ordered the chai tea, which was nice and creamy and full of flavor. I am so glad we found good Indian food that is not far from my house. Roseville if you are looking for good service and good food, come here I promise you will not be disappointed!
