Love this store. My parents and younger sisters love this store. There is something for everyone, usually a few shop dogs hanging out, and such a friendly and welcoming staff. These guys will get you set up for your outdoor adventures, and really care about what they do. It’s nice to talk to people that take pride and passion in their work. They live the lifestyle and love talking with you about it, and this store has an awesome collection of patagonia skirts(probably the best in atlanta… for you patagonia skirt wearers.).

I walked in here on a sleepy Tuesday morning and was completely ignored by all staff. I am just starting out with water water kayaking so this seemed like a place that would be specialized enough to help me out. I wandered around the downstairs section for ten minutes and not a single person asked me if I needed help, despite furiously looking around and giving off signs I wanted help. I walked upstairs and after another round of «help me» body language no one approached me. So I searched out an employee, asked her if they had used kayaks(there were some listed on the website). She said no and walked away. I patiently waited for another employee to finish with a customer, but the moment the customer left, the employee whirled around and went into he back room. Despite my hovering! Thirty minutes in the store, not acknowledged by a single employee. I was annoyed. Went to a better outfitter that spent an hour helping me out!

Great place to buy or rent a kyak — the guys sold us our blue kyak 5 years ago and it’s still going strong for our adventures in the Chattahoochee River, thanks!

Many moons ago I had pals that loved to paddle who worshiped this shop. I’ve lost touch with them in the years since, but never forgot about the shop. When time came for me to FINALLY get a boat for myself, I didn’t even consider the alternatives. Though I live in the city, I made the well worth it trip to suburbia and what I found didn’t disappoint. Helpful staff that didn’t make me feel inadequate about my lack of knowledge, who laughed at my [bad] jokes and taught me what I needed to know with NOPRESSURE. Oh, the joy! The lab pups who quietly run the place aren’t bad eye candy and definitely helped sweeten the deal by ensuring I was dealing with real people with a real love and respect for the water and their clients. I made the trip back a few months later to buy the baby I’d been saving for and was pleased as PUNCH when they even helped me load the old gal on the top of my truck. Can’t say enough great things about these folks, the shop, or their commitment to their customers.

I went to Go With the Flow in search of a touring kayak and was very impressed with their expertise. The guys there really love kayaking and know their stuff. They gave great advice and information about all the kayaks I looked at and were able to find everything I needed. I had also bought a used kayak rack and they were able to give me some of the parts I was missing as well as put the rack on my car for me and show me the best way to tie on the kayak. I will be going to Go With the Flow again and again. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys kayaking.

When you are just beginning a sport you want advice from people who actually participate in the sport. That is why I am so glad I found Go with the Flow right when I started Kayaking. They have a tremendous selection but more importantly they always had someone on staff who had actually used the equipment and could tell me if it would be best suited for my skill level. I highly recommend this shop for anyone interested in whitewater or touring kayaking.

This is the most knowledgeable staff in the metro area for paddlesports. It is a specialty shop, so if you want to learn about whitewater, seakayaking, touring, or just want a pair of comfortable sandals, this is a great independent family business to visit. Tip: they’ll match prices for any in-stock boat in the state. Ask for one of the Schuberts(Dave and Barrett are brothers)…nice family, funny dudes. I once saw Barrett eat three Slope’s BBQ sandwiches on a dare. He’s one of those skinny guys with a hollow leg, but he looked a little green.
