Very trendy restaurant. I love that it accommodates all types of visitors. There is a little brew station, family style dining inside, and outside you can bring your pet. Love! Its very wooded and beautiful outside. Oh and the burgers aren’t too bad either ;)

The burgers are delicious. If you like pineapple like I do try their Hawaiian burger. You’ll thank me. Anyway I’ve been to the roswell location several times. It is quaint space with a nice view on the patio area. It’s a little pricey but if you haven’t been I would recommend going at least once.

Incredible hamburger, service, and environment. For the money this is one of the best lunches I’ve had in Roswell. The back deck is a great place to sit and overlook the Roswell Park while you eat. Even in the winter they have heaters to keep you warm. Just enough TVs to be able to have the football game behind you but not be annoying. Definitely will be back.

I’ve been meaning to update my review for a couple of months, but I hate doing it because I really liked Moxie. It’s sad what one ludicrous experience can do. Back in mid-summer, my girlfriend and I went to Moxie for a good burger and a view of the sunset from the great patio area. Unfortunately, the dinner was ruined by a complete inability to follow directions. My girlfriend asked for her burger rare. The first time, it came out well done. It was bad, but these things happen. So we sent it back and made sure they understood she wanted it rare. After way too long, a second burger came out. It was just as well done as the first. Meanwhile, my food is ice cold by this point of course and we’re both pretty hacked. We have the waitress try again. We didn’t blame her. She was profusely apologetic and tried to fix the problem. The manager never bothered to get involved, but I caught up with him anyway because this isn’t acceptable. When I told him what was going on, he was totally apathetic and just said«they didn’t make rare burgers.» Really? You’re a burger place. It’s rare, medium, or well. Maybe we could have understood the temperature if it had been medium or medium rare. We’re not trying to split hairs, but it was very well done… twice. Upon the third try, they were able to get in the ballpark — a medium burger, but we had lost our appetite long before that. We’ve since put a moratorium on Moxie Burger. The experience was too absurd and we weren’t offered any sort of compensation, just lame excuses. Learn cooking temperatures and get a manager who isn’t a cypher. It’s not that hard.

Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is b/c it’s a bit too pricey. Otherwise, it’s great! Just had lunch there for 1st time. I had the Entrepreneur(beef) on wheat bun with pepper jack cheese, onion straws, sriacha mayo, pickles & tomatoes. Very good burger; you can tell they use quality meat. Hubby had the Heater Burger on wheat — also very yummy. We split a single 50⁄50 order of regular fries & sweet potato fries. Both were good & I really enjoyed the dipping sauce. We will def return & probably get an order of pimento cheese fritters, split a burger, & get the 50⁄50 again. I enjoyed sitting out on their nice large deck. The girl that took our order(at the counter) & delivered it was very nice. She checked on us to make sure our food was good.

3 of us visited on a Friday at lunchtime. Since the parking lot outside was not very full at all, we were surprised to see they had a decent-sized lunch clientele inside. No wait at the counter, though. Counter lady was friendly and helpful. This is a great place for kids(have a small kids menu), low-carbers, calorie watchers, vegetarians, as well as burger enthusiasts because of all the options for buns(or non-buns), plus bean, turkey, mushroom, or chicken in addition to to beef and lamb, or hot dogs. Good selection of beers… nice outdoor patio with ceiling fans. I had the«Heater» with chicken, the guys had burgers. Everything was fresh, flavorful and generous portions. If the weather is nice and you want to walk off your meal and take in some beautiful scenery while you’re at it, leave the car and walk down to Vickery Falls and back. There’s plenty of onsite parking which is another BIG plus.

Moxie Burger is located by Roswell Mill just behind Chaplin’s and offers a variety of burgers, hot dogs, craft beer, and more. It seems like everything on the menu comes with pimento cheese which is just fine with me. Atmosphere: When we pulled up, it almost looks unfinished or closed from the outside, but it was busy when we walked in. It’s very kid-friendly so it seems to draw a decent crowd early and then thins out later in the evening. Casual, open atmosphere with a nice sized bar area and large patio on the back. Food: I skipped the burgers and went with the Hunker Down Dog which was awesome. It was topped with pimento cheese, bacon, jalapenos, and fried onion straws. One of my favorite hot dogs ever. The fried pickles, pimento cheese fritters, burgers, and french fries looked great, but I’ll have to try next time. Drinks: The beer menu had a few excellent craft beers such as Creature Comforts Tropicalia and they were featuring some other local beers such as Gate City in Roswell. The beers were inexpensive in my opinion compared to other bars in the area. Overall: It’s a good option for families in the area or people just looking for a casual dining experience in the area. I’ll be back for the beer and the Hunker Down Dog.

I recently visited Moxie Burger for the first time. I like that ground lamb is available. I placed a to-go order, ordering the«Entrepreneur» with a wheat bun. The Entrepreneur allows you to «build your own» burger. There are several add-ons are available; some at an additional cost. As usual, I ordered my burger medium-well with mayo, lettuce, onion and tomato. The lamb burger was great! I will definitely return to order it again. I ordered a side of Moxie fries; their«regular» fries. The fries were on par with fries from other restaurants. Other sides are available that I have not seen at other«burger joints». I may try the zucchini fries on a future visit.

Ordered fries and sweet potato fries… The best fries we have ever tasted. pickle chips weren’t so good. I’ve made better At home. prices were excellent. But the Flies… Lordy they need to have some fly swatters at each table. That was the only thing we didn’t enjoy.

Fries were amazing I ordered the gobbler(turkey burger)…just saying the name make my stomach ache. It was disgusting. It had a white sauce on it that taste like tartar sauce and it was disgusting. I will never go back for a burger again. I’ll def try the fries they were sooo good. they almost taste like they were kettle cooked. Had a sweet taste to them

Vegetarians and Gluten Free-ers, rejoice! We’ve been to MB3 times now and each time it was fantastic. I don’t eat too much meat and recently tried to stop eating gluten and yet, I can still eat here! They have a veggie burger option or a grilled portobello mushroom option. I haven’t tried the veggie burger because the portobello is so amazing. I wish other burger joints were smart enough to offer this vegetarian option. The gluten free bun is fabulous. It’s light and fluffy and not at all what gf bread usually is. My husband has always had a regular burger and has been very happy. The sweet potato fries are to die for. We have gotten our food to go twice and dined in once. I will say the dine in experience is a little loud and hectic. It’s difficult to find a seat. This place is POPULAR. The interior is small and kind of crowded with a small bar area. There is a huge outdoor deck with more seating. The restaurant is counter service and when were last there on a Sunday afternoon, the line to order was almost out the front door but the line moved quickly. The boutique burger bar is no longer a novelty in Atlanta and many of them are very mediocre but this one definitely out shines the competition. Farm Burger and Yeah Burger better watch out.

Originally posted Memorial Day 2015 Had a great dinner until a set of parents came in and sat at the bar. The 7ish year old boy was allowed to sit at the bar while the other 3 children were required to sit at a booth. It was apparent bery quickly he had not been taught to understand or be courteous of someone else’s space, bumped kicked and elbowed me on several occasions w/o the first excuse me or I am sorry. The fact that any parent feels it is ok to have your child sit at a bar b/c the restaurant is a family establishment lets me know that this is not the dinning establishment for me and most of my friends. We sit at a bar b/c we don’t want to deal with someone else’s children. I write this post very conflicted b/c the first part of my visit including my meal were awesome. I just don’t know I can come back knowing that family establishment means children will be sitting at the bar.

Sometimes(albeit rare), I don’t have much to say. Moxie Burgers are pretty good burgers. I honestly wouldn’t trust the tastes of anyone who thought the burgers here weren’t at the very least satisfactory. But if I’m being truthful(and we all know I have no problem being truthful), I love the décor and look of this place more than I love the burger. The burger patties here are similar in thickness and texture as Burger 21 located in the Mall of Georgia, but not as good. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from coming to Moxie Burger, but there are better options. One example would be nearby Rhea’s on Canton Street in Roswell. That is one helluva burger for the money. FINALTHOUGHTS Solid choice for a burger. Not every restaurant can deliver a mind blowing amazing burger experience. Sometimes… just being good is good enough. 3.5 overall.

I find it’s much easier to visit new places when going with other Unilocalers. I tried Moxie Burger last week and have been sitting on this review for a minute. I’m somewhat torn between meh and it’s good. First things first, the entrance. Coming from Atlanta Street and turning in by Chaplins, it looks like the place is closed. The only signage is on the building itself with poor lighting. You can’t even see their hours until you are right in front of the door. We honestly thought this place was closed when pulling in. Turns out that there are two entrances, and the other side is more descriptive. I was a bit confused walking in. I wasn’t sure if I should seat myself or order at the counter. I waited until another family ordered to see what I should do. Order at the counter — got it. I ordered The Chucktown salad and the other half ordered the Lolo Ono Crazy Delicious burger without the onions. We also ordered some fried pimento fritters. You got your drink from the fountain machine and all silverware/napkins and condiments are on the table. Our food arrives in less than 10 minutes. Soon our whole table with filled with food. Burgers, sweet potato fries, salad and fried pimento fritters. My salad was exactly what I expected. Crisp greens, strawberries, sliced almonds and fried goat cheese balls. The only thing I didn’t like was the plating. I find it easier to eat a salad in a bowl, but that’s just a personal preference. All the flavors came together for a refreshing taste. I can only assume my other half like his burger only because it was gone in seconds. I do recall seeing the Texas toast buns and cheese oozing out of the sides. Usually I get a bite of his food, but not this time. My friend shared her sweet potato fries with everyone. I immediately noticed the smell of cinnamon when they arrived at the table. The honey mustard that came with it looked more like a cheese sauce, but it went well with the fries. Overall, our total was around $ 24. Not too bad for a burger place. Certainly cheaper than others in the area. I would definitely come back for the salad and to try some other items.

«If your reviews are looking like essays, start a blog. I can’t read your life story on my phone before ordering from the menu» Time & Date of visit: 7:30 pm– Thursday night Party Size: 4 Location/Ambiance: Casual kind of vibe. The ordering line is formed nearing the open area near the bar, then leading to where the cashiers are at. It’s a «fast casual» kind of setting, where you order and pay at the counter, are given a number while you pick out a table or booth, and then the food is brought to your table. Through out the dining area are tables and booths for 4. A family behind us didn’t mind combining two tables for all of their kids. Noise level was average, you can clearly carry a conversation with out raising your voice I believe. Service: I’m docking a point due to the cashier confirming that what I wanted to order was the toppings from The Coop” chicken sandwich but on a burger. She even asked how I wanted it cooked. Though what I was given was actually just the«Coop» chicken sandwich. It’s probably less confusing to just order the Entrepreneur burger and add the sides. Though we met up another fellow Unilocaler and husband, I guess we continued to carry our conversations pass the closing hour. The wait staff actually waited for us until 10pm. With out mentioning anything to us. It wasn’t until the cashiers/food runners were putting up the chairs that we decided we shouldn’t hold them up anymore. Thank you for your patience with us Moxie Burger. Lost points earned back for sure. Food Highlights: The Cadillac — I got to take a pic, but since I thought my burger was on it’s way I didn’t ask for a bite. Missed out. My friend killed it, even though she claims to be not big on burgers(=P). The Coop — This sandwich isn’t photogenic, every pic I took didn’t look too appealing. I’m just going to scratch out the pics and take one later. I rather not upload something unappetizing. The chicken was cooked well I think. It’s was pretty moist through out though the toppings contributed to the flavor. I think by itself, this wouldn’t be surviving on the menu long of being ordered. — Ok, pretty good Sweet Potato Fries(Shared) — Served in a basket, with generous portions, this is made for +2. Their version is dusted with a bit of cinnamon and sugar. With a sauce cup of honey mustard to dip in. Trust me, I know, «HONEYMUSTARD?!» It’s actually not that bad of a combination. The honey mustard is only slightly sweet. I couldn’t determine if I like it more with just ketchup or the honey mustard. — Good Summary: I think I will have to retry this place and make sure I get a burger this time. On their site they announce that Zagat gave them #5 for top 5 burgers in Atlanta. 3.5 stars for now, but hoping to revisit and bump it up.

The sweet staff waited on us until way after closing time. Literally. All the tables were stacked and everyone was congregated in one area waiting on us. We didn’t leave the establishment until like 9:45PM. When I checked the closing time later, it stated 9PM. Oops. That’s what happens when Unilocalers get together. The ordering process breakdown: So you come in and grab a menu. Wait in line to put in your order. Grab the number they provide and take a seat of your choosing. Food will be brought out to ya. The staff will swing by to see if anything else is needed, but utensils and condiments are already on the table. The drinks are self-served so everything is accessible. The food: The cadillac burger was pretty good. It was a 6 ounce white oak pasture lamb. It was such a messy thing to consume! I liked how the bread was not the typical sesame bun so it gave the burger some flair. I think it was on rye bread. I think. The sweet potato fries my friend and I shared was large. It was unique as it was coated with cinnamon. It gave the fries this slight sweet hint. The honey mustard sauce that came with it was unique looking as we all thought it was cheese. Lol. I’m not a burger fan, but this place was pretty awesome. Parking is available both in the front and back.

Pretty darn good! I had the«hunker down dog» which is pimento cheese, bacon, and jalepenos on a hot dog. Was pretty damn great. Also got a King of Pops Popsicle. I’d love to come back and try more burgers.

GLUTENFREEBUNS! They are delicious, but just compliment the AMAZING burger or chicken breast inside. They are always flavorful and cooked to perfection. The sweet potato fries are fresh, crisp, and perfect. I love this place and visit regularly. Great food, great price, great service. It truly cannot be beat.

I’ve had Moxie Burger on my list of places to try based on the glowing reviews in Unilocal. The East Cobb location, though, was a little out of the way for me. I was glad to find out about the new location in Roswell and gave it a try the other day. Moxie is one of the best fast casual restaurants around. The Roswell location is perfect, with a large patio in the back where you can relax and enjoy the view. The servers were exceptionally friendly and really made you feel welcome. I had the blue ribbon burger, which had blue cheese, caramelized onions and mushrooms. The patty was exceptionally thick and high quality. I ordered it medium well. Sometimes medium well means dried out, but while the meat was fully cooked through, it managed to be still juicy. The blue cheese was just the right amount and was not overpowering. I had cole slaw as a side, and it was not too creamy and sweet, and also was a fairly large serving for just $ 2. They have a really decent selection of some craft beers on tap, and Miller Lite drafts for just $ 2. When I came the clientele were mainly families with small children. It looks like a real family friendly place. The parking is excellent. There’s a large lot on the back side of the restaurant, off Mill Street. Moxie is a great value for the money and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good burger. I’d like. To come back and try some of the othe burger selections.
