Unfortunately, I agree with the other reviews. I have been in this store several times only to be disappointed every single time. I have finally learned my lesson, I will never go back. I have never been approached by a salesperson to see if help could be provided. If you are fortunate enough to find one, they act annoyed when asked for help. I had not been there in a while so I thought that maybe things had changed. I am currently building a house and my builder suggested that I go to Progressive so I went back yesterday. Again, no one asked if I needed any help. I was finally approached by someone that told me the store was actually closed although there were other shoppers making selections. After stammering from shock, I said«ok, I’ll leave». He merely replied, «ok». He never once asked if he could help in any way or to please come back during business hours. I have never experienced such horrible customer service.

Considering the first two reviews focused on poor customer service, I would like to think that there have been some changes since those two reviews were written. We have been to the store three times to look at the lights and select the ones we wanted. Each time the receptionist greeted us pleasantly and offered to get a salesperson for us if we needed one. There were a few salespeople who came through and offered assistance while we were there. More importantly, when we opened one of the boxes after the lights cam in and found it bent, Joanne said she would have a replacement waiting for us on the customer pick up dock and she did. Overall, we are very happy with the products and the service.

To echo the only other review for this place. There is something very bad about the customer service vibe here. It seems pretty clear that all the employees in the store last Saturday, April 26, we’re completely uninterested in helping us. We were there to look for help finding a replacement globe for a very expensive fixture we bought there 10 years ago. Every person we encountered couldn’t have been less interested in helping us. Without exception we met with disdain and mockery. Quote, «we don’t sell parts. We don’t repair things. We sell new fixtures», delivered with a sneer. It’s easy now for me. I’ll never go back in there. And I don’t mind telling this story to anyone who asks my opinion.

The worst costumer service I have ever experienced in Atlanta! I visted the Alpharetta store last week to select lighting fixtures for a Buckhead home we are redecorating. The receptionist told us that there were no salespeople availble but that we could look around the showroom. We waited half an hour, and still no salespeople… When we left we asked the receptionist to have a salesperson call us as soon as one became available. We waited several days and never got a call back. Followed up later with the receptionist, and she said«sorry — I can’t force people to call you back!» We asked to speak to a manager and the receptionist told us that none were available… Something very strange is going on here, but clearly they don’t want our business. We will never be back!
