Just discovered this place delivers! !whoo hoo! We normally dine in. They have daily specials. We usually get a special that has large pizza, 12 pizza rolls and dessert pizza for 30 bucks. Ordered online today to try delivery. Was only 2.50 delivery fee. You can order now or schedule later time. Delivery guy forgot our soda. He ran to store to buy one. Love their pizza rolls. Excited they deliver. Fast. Friendly. Yummy

The product was soggy, skimpy on the cheese and had an odd taste to it. The Cheesy bread was also substandard. Cheap product. However, I’m giving this a three star because the staff was very helpful and polite. They deliver fast and corrected my problem with a full refund. I’ll give them a second shot some time.

I honestly wavered between three and four stars until I realized that my gluten free diet should not count off. When I ate pizza, this was the second best delivery pizza joint in town(RIP Garlic Breath). My family is a regular consumer of the Meateater and the classic Veggie. I now have to be satisfied with salad(they make a very decent salad) as my kids scarf the fantastic hand-tossed and overloaded goodness.

Brought the family in for the lunch buffet. Not bad at all, the pizza was kept hot and the buffet was kept full. The variety and the types of crusts was varied. The flavor was on par from what you would expect from a pizza buffet, better than others but by no means something to write home about. The pizza rolls were a little dry this time around and they were not refreshed the whole time we were there. Also the dessert pies were cold and not replaced. The price is pretty good, I can’t imagine how busy it gets on Wednesday nights’ buffet(the only time is offered during the eveing) Staff was very attentive and the whole restaurant was clean. It’s the best buffet option in Round Rock for pizza, only wish it was all day, every day…

Owner has the worst customer service skills I have ever seen. And he’s super stingy. Plus, no wifi(other double daves stores do), no power plugs accessible, and doesn’t accept the golocal cards that others do to support their community. I’m surprised corporate hasn’t cared about this franchisee’s overall product to the customer

Just finished eating pizza and I would give less than one star if at all possible. First, the price for four people was as much as a steak at a steak house. The buffet was almost empty. Most of all, the gimmick of a free first beer was deceiving. You pay for a soda, but you receive only one or the other, a beer or a soda. When I asked for a cup I was refused one since I had a beer. If the beer is free why did I pay for a soda I couldn’t drink. The price for four buffets and sodas was the same as four buffets and 3 sodas and a beer. So I paid for the beer! The air-conditioning must be a place to save money because the place was burning up. All things considered we will not return.

First time trying double dave’s pizza and there delivery. Pizza was excellent and was delivered within 20 minutes. We’ve tried several pizza places, usually one try then try the next pkace. This place is a repeat for us, it’s that good.

Went here with my boyfriend and his family because it was one of their favorite pizza joints– for whatever reason I have no idea. The pizza was never stocked, and what was stocked was jalapeño chicken and a bunch other«unpopular» kinds. Now this gets me thinking that the employees are just making food for themselves because I had to ask twice for just plain ol’ Jane pepperoni. So after the pizza was out, I grabbed three slices. Big mistake. This is the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. So I choked the three slices down, to be courteous, and moved onto salad. The salad itself was old. It was wilted, orange at the sides, and over all sour tasting. So my last resort was the dessert. Not bad. But it shouldn’t be the best tasting thing here. My suggestion is to keep the salad switched every four hours like you’re supposed to– flip it so the old is on top. Keep pepperoni stocked in twos, and by requests make a jalapeño anything. Yuck.

Plain and simple, good pizza buffet. Hot, fresh and replenished promptly as well. Buffet deal came with a drink and cost around $ 9. I came in a little after opening and there was already a decent group inside. At 12, the place filled up! The gf and I have been talking about this place for years and never tried it. I’m glad I did. The only negative was the famous pizza rolls everyone mentioned in the reviews were wrong. They are just pepperoni rolled in too much dough. No cheese or stuffing. Other than that, this place is great. I’ll be back soon.

I am sucker for the pepperoni rolls! Lunch buffet is always hot and fresh and quickly replenished. Don’t see your favorite? Just ask! Oh– and it includes a drunk! Aka my excuse to get a dr pepper. I bring little guy here often for lunch. I think the retirees and working crowd enjoys seeing a small kid(or maybe their smiles are thinly veiled glares of annoyance). The speciality pizzas look great and we might have to get take out soon!

Came in for the Wednesday night dinner buffet. It was awesome. Definitely the best pizza buffet deal in Round Rock. The buffet had a wide variety of pizzas and desserts, the staff was attentive and friendly, and everything was clean. Best of all the price was comparable to Cici’s, but with a far lower risk of dysentery or a staph infection. If you arrive by six on Wednesday, you can enjoy the buffet before the 7pm crowd arrives. Buffet night is great for kids, but probably not ideal for a couple seeking a quiet intimate dining experience. My minions fit right in with the other kids at nearly every table. The kids here were all pretty well behaved, but there were a LOT of them.

Probably the worst pizza I have had in years. Ordered a thin and crispy and it was soggy and greasy. Actually threw most of it away. Yuck, definitely will not be back. I have had better

We showed up 35 minutes before they end this buffet, usually this is a big nono for a buffet, fresh stuff quits hitting the buffet line… not so at Doubledave’s, fresh pizza and pizza rolls and desserts and calzones kept showing up, they put out a varied and yummy selection.

DoubleDave’s has great pizza, good selection of beer with specials, and a decent salad bar. The buffet is by far the best deal and gives you a chance to try the Stromboli, the pizza rolls, the specialty pizza of the month and the selection of dessert pizzas! Delivery is quick and yummy! Jim, the owner, works very hard to keep this place clean, well-run and offers great food and service.

Out of all the pizza chains in all the world… this one is my favorite. For that matter, there aren’t that many independent pizza joints that are better either. While I’m NOT a fan of buffets in ANY of their myriad forms, theirs is the ONLY pizza buffet that isn’t a gross blasphemy to the pizza gods. Whenever I’ve ordered an individual pizza here it’s always been fresh and good too. The sauce is flavorful, the crust is good and the proportion of cheese to the other toppings is always just about right. Add to that the quality of the toppings seems to be far better than most I’ve run across in the pizza world. I also really enjoy their garlic spinach Stromboli, if you like garlic, if you like spinach, and who doesn’t like cheese? I feel certain you’ll like this too. While the Philly Cheesesteak Stromboli seems to be more popular, I didn’t find it as flavorful as the spinach one. Where else can I drink a quality beer(this time Live Oak Hefeweizen) and indulge my gluttony with 13 slices of pizza and 6 slices of desert pizza for about $ 10?
