I went to Five Star ER yesterday due to a gym accident/injury. The staff was incredibly nice, helpful and compassionate! The paper work was minimal and the wait time was non existent. The facility was beautiful and clean. Overall, if you’re in a bind and you don’t want to wait for ten years at the hospitals ER, go to Fiver Star ER, you won’t regret it. It’s awesome!

I visited this clinic in Jan. of 15. It wasn’t awful, we were seen quickly(about as fast the closest real ER @ st. davids) but the nurse was rude and we saw the doctor for a grand total of about 5 minutes. The nurse was the one who answered questions for us. Although it seemed there were no other people in the hospital(no cars in the parking lot, no people in the rooms, no one in the lobby) we were treated like an inconvenience. That wasn’t even the worst part. I’ve been dealing with their billing for almost a year now. The waited several months to even send out a bill and when we did get it, it was for way too much compared to the closest ER. I’ve sadly been to both and would rather go to anyone but this clinic again because of the crap they have put us through. They kept sending us multiple bills w/o sending to insurance first even though they were given our correct insurance information upon check in. Three months of dealing with that and we were finally told they just never billed insurance, just cause. Three months later we get two more bills this time they came up to about 500 bucks. Our insurance covered a lot and when we spoke with them they told us that this clinic over charges a great deal for a «facility fee» and«doctor fee» and that the remaining balance was indeed our portion. Non-negotiable«at this location». Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Save yourself future pain…

Well, I wish I didn’t know this place so well, but having been here more than 3 times, I can say with certainty that they are the best facility, the best staff and the best care available. Superior care with heart, speed, technical acumen and infallable precision, this is the ONLY place for me, my family and anyone I care about. Followup care, scheduling us with an emergency plastic surgeon and sending us off with smiles and hugs, perfectly equipped to take the next step toward health is all part of how these guys work they do it well, they do it right and they are without doubt the top of the line. Five stars is not enough for Five Star.

i had the worst experience of my life going to this ER. i was so lethargic and in so much pain and nurse AMY was the most horrible and rude nurse ever. she had an attitude the whole time and instead of making me comfortable she was making me more agitated with her rude remarks and attitude. i have a huge bruise on my arm because she was so rough trying to put in an IV. i told her my veins are hard to find and she got mad and kept fishing for the vein and it was excruciating. i will never go back again. stay away from that place. also the ac doesn’t work so it was 80 degrees inside the ER. at least the dr was super nice Hutu will never forget the way i was treated by the nurse

These people are greedy, only in it for the money. This is the kind of health care that is ruining our country. The company will charge you excessively for anything they can get away with… and is unwilling to charge reasonable rates. DONOTGOHERE! Recently, I went here when my daughter’s knee cap slipped out of place. We took here to what I thought was a minor emergency(urgent care)… once they wheeled her into x-ray I found out they«charged like a real emergency room»… too late. They took my insurance and told failed to mention that they weren’t ‘in-network’…convenient. I begged the front desk lady to make sure they made only reasonable necessary charges and that I couldn’t afford to pay huge medical bills. She just smirked and told me they don’t know how it will be «coded’ yet so she could not say yes or no… I knew I was in trouble then. Before the 2 x-rays they did, the doctor gave me the ‘sales pitch’…all in an effort to convince me what great care my daughter will receive. Did I mention that it took longer to give me the ‘sales pitch’ than it took to treat her dislocated knee cap?! I took a total of about 10 seconds to ‘reduce the dislocated patella’. After that it was two pain killers and we went on our way… home after about 1 hour from start to finish. Now comes the part I was afraid of. The«Dr.»(its hard to call him that honestly) and the«Emergency Room» charged $ 3000EACH for this one hour, ten second treatment!!! YES… $ 6000 Total! My insurance covered some of the charges at «customary rates» but these guys charged me quadruple the customary rate! This is ROBBERY! AVOID This place at all costs… you will regret it financially if you don’t. If they would have charged a reasonable rate for the services they provided I would not complain at all… but they are completely out of line with reality. –B. PEREZ
