The stand is still newish and has a few quirks. Apparently the«Homestyle desserts» billed in huge letters are nonexistent, and the«Weekend Specials» area on the chalkboard takes up too much space, so there are a bunch of regular menu items there. I am also yet to be impressed by their juice or smoothie options(but your mileage may vary.) However, the ear of roasted corn for $ 3 is enough by itself to make me a fan. The operator asked how I wanted the corn seasoned, and he offered a LOT of flavor options, including garlic, parmesan, and various seasoned salts. I asked what he recommended, and he suggested butter, cajun seasoning, parmesan and lemon pepper. A few minutes later, my ear was ready, and served wrapped in aluminum foil with a napkin wrapped around the peeled-back husk. I tried a single bite and was wowed. Offered a bite to Mrs. D, and her first comment was, «Woah, that is really good.» The kids were all neck-deep in cupcakes so I didn’t get much enthusiasm from them, but I was impressed, happy to recommend it, and looking forward to coming back for more.
