Jacks is probably my favorite fast food. Yes, fast food is fast food, but Jacks is consistently good. For those complaining about the slow drive thru, it’s slow because they’re cooking most of your food to order. I’d rather wait for food cooked after I order it than get something that’s been sitting under a heat lamp for the last 10 minutes or so.

Went there at 1:30 am on way back from long trip. They were still open. They took about 5 min in making our orders but gave us two kinds of fries free for waiting a few minutes without even asking. Now that is something you don’t see often from a fast food joint. 5 stars!

There’s no need to give Jack a low rating because its a fast food chain. You knew that coming here, didn’t you? IMO, Jack in the Box burgers are vastly superior to the BK lounge or McD’s, plus they have curly fries. And Coke freestyle machines. The future of beverage dispensing is here. Now. And it’s bright red with a touch screen.

Yes, it’s Jack In the Box. «Jack in the crack» if you have a punny friend around. It’s not usually my first choice, but 24 hour place are a little harder to come by in Round Rock. This drive-thru is s-l-o-w. I don’t think they have enough employees, because they always seem to be trying and are very nice when you finally do get up there! Here’s my big complaint: EVERYTIME I get a taco it’s shockingly greasy. Not the normal yummy greasy, like the whole bag is soaked along with the other contents. Blah. Ask for your tacos in a different bag I guess? I’m a big fan of the Jumbo Jack though!

Nothing out of the ordinary, but the food quality is consistent. I have stopped at this location a few times and different times of the day/week. The one common denominator is that the drive thru can be slow. I understand it being slow in the a.m. on a Saturday since there are not that many orders and so there will be a need to cook fries/etc. from the start, but I have been here during an average lunch day and the speed has not improved the slightest. It appears that they are working fast, but I do not know what goes on behind the counter. The food is hot and fresh as you would like from J-n-B, but that is it for the most part. Its a chain place and nothing stands out, so I will stick with the 3 stars for now. If the drive thru continues to go down… so will these stars.

Slowest drive-thru ever, food is below average but what do you expect from a chain like this. I do love their tacos though.
