Taco Cabana

Great breakfast! I’m a vegetarian so their lunch/​dinner menu is kind of lacking for vegetarians, but their food is pretty good. My favorite is their potato egg & cheese tacos. If you go inside, you can take advantage of their toppings bar & put all kinds of toppings on your food!

HORRIBLE AND INCOMPETENT. Went through the drive thru (after an obscene wait), got all the way home and didn’t have a big piece of my order (which WAS confirmed to me when my order was read back)… The receipt I requested was also not in the bag. I tried to call the restaurant multiple times with no answer. I went back to the location and they claimed I wasn’t charged for it. Well, it was repeated to me and I paid the amount quoted to me by their employee. I understand mistakes happen but when they’re made by your employees, you should fix them. NEVER going back.

15minute wait on the steak fajita plate is ridiculous. You dropped the ball. Guess the workers are sleeping on the job.

This restaurant usually only rates three stars on a good day, but today they hit a new low by giving me food I didn’t order. I drove in heavy traffic for thirty minutes because I really wanted their nachos. When I got home, I found tacos. I repeted my order three times to make sure they got it right. To make it worse, they were a disaster! Very little was actually IN the tortillas.
If I wanted tacos there are much better places I could have gone to.
Thank you for reminding me why I rarely go to your restaurant.

Went here yesterday for a bean burrito and I tell you what this place is full of gangsters working… the young guy working the front register had no idea what a bean burrito was or how to ring it up, another fellow with a lip print tattoo on his neck which is very trashy by the way was flirting with a young girl working there more like sexual harassment. I will no longer go this place… even told my husband I didn’t feel comfortable eating the food here because of the people working and handling the food.

Went with a group of friends (4 people) waited 30 – 45 minutes to get our food everyone was already done eating and still hadn’t received our food! Went up to the cashier and said he «forgot our order» finally got our food and was completely wrong!!! Worst experience I’ve ever had! Not even McDonald’s fucks up this bad!!!

Out of steak fajitas, three out of five times. WTF? Also out of cheese once. Step it up managers

Listen I LOVE me some taco cabana but when people are rude it makes me feel like I don’t want to come back… The man on the speaker cut me off and barely let me finish my order then when I get to the window he becomes even more rude. OVER IT!

Love their salsa ranch sauce and steak fajita tacos! Yummy. Drive thru can get so packed in the morning! I normally come here in the morning before work to pick up some tacos! I have had their taco salad and it’s very good. TG and Dell employees get an employee discount. Sweet!

It used to be our favorite place to eat out. Not anymore. Yesterday we went to eat out on the porch and we saw 2 mice in the grass and going over on the porch, under the table! We’ve been coming there for a while and not once have we experienced that! We discreetly reported it to an employee when we left. Today I decided to give the place a second try and sent my husband to get some food including the large size chips and queso. This time we got a small portion of chips (like ¹⁄₃ of the size we got yesterday), my husband asked why so small and he was told it’s the size for a large queso… altogether, I think we’re done with this establishment which is a pity since it was one of our favorites.

Should have ZERO stars!!! Abort mission!!!
This particular TC used to be excellent! It WAS clean, FRIENDLY, and worth a long distance ride to eat (when I lived outside of Round Rock).
My family & I decided to grab some food and chillax at home. As we approached the front door, my daughter was cutoff by an employee about to start his shift. He wouldn’t hold the door for her. (Strike 1)
So my 61 yr young mom went to the counter –overlooking such ill mannered behavior. No welcoming smiles and there was heatedly any staff present… She was greeted with «are you going to order or what!», by some (explicits words inserted) who wanted to go back to his meal… *i wil get to that in bit.
After overhearing this (received a phone call), I ended my call quickly in disbelief that I heard such disrespect. He bravely repeated himself. Yep, I checked him! I attempted to order and he left his register!!!
I’m trying to stay saved! God really lives within me because the Old Me would’ve…
Glad he was able to finish his meal!

Don’t refuse to go back to such ignorance! Just know this, I’m will tell my friends about this. Some of them have Emmy’s!
Guess we are driving to Rosa’s Café in CP until the Round Rock location opens!

I’ve been a fan for a long time. The thing I’ve noticed, there flavor of food and changing and it’s improving. They have great specials and you need to try them. The atmostphere is changing also.

For the most part, I love this location. There was one time the morning asst mgr was very rude and should not have been running the drive-​thru. I was even going to ask for a mgr and then I saw this name tag with assist mgr on it.
They have not messed up at this location. Sometimes on the eggs Mexicana they do not put enough queso like the other locations and I have to order 1oz of it. The main reason why I gave this place a 5 star, is an employee named Caro (I think that is how you spell it) She is there in the morning times. She is very polite and very friendly. I think she goes above and beyond duty in her job. There needs to be more people like her in the drive-​thru! :)

I’ve never ever had bad food from taco cabana until tonight.
Let’s start from the beginning, 2 weeks ago I got a delicious enchilada bowl around noon, it was so good I sent my bf to get some 3 nights ago, they told him they didn’t serve it until 11pm, so we ordered something else and then today I waited until 11 to get one and guess what they said? I can’t order it until midnight! They argued and then said they could, then I get home and am excited to eat and they gave me the most stale and oldest bowl they had. It’s so bad I wanted to puke. I called 3 times and no answer.
This is an awful way to treat a customer, I used to eat here all the time but why would i ever go back?!
Wow taco cabana, you might have lost a customer that has been going there since I was a baby.
Disgusting service and food.

It’s fast food. Not authentic mexican. So as long as expectations are not high it’s fine. I usually stick to fajita combo.
My only complaint is always say no salsa. They ask I say no. I drive away and dammit they gave me salsa.
I don’t eat and drive. So usually wherever I’m going, by the time I get there salsa has started leaking.

Taco Cabana should be ASHAMED of their breakfast tacos. That was the nastiest breakfast taco I’ve ever had in my life.
As a Mexican, I’m kind of offended that this food would be presented as Mexican food.

Food was typical TC quality. Good and on the cheap. I got my regular 3 flautas with a couple of tortillas on the side (shut up, I know that doesn’t scream «balanced diet».) My husband got his normal meal of a big ol’ order of nachos, and he was pleased with them.
My issue is the super unhappy Assistant General Manager. No greeting, no smile, nothing, lol. If ANYONE should be displaying good customer service is would be, um, management? Yeah, management! Anyway, so he takes our order without a sense of friendliness at all. Why so unhappy, sir? You have queso at your fingertips. Smile, buddy!
Another thing, and please done think I’m crazy or just being snotty, but this seemed like a really small TC and a very crowded one, table-​wise. It was odd. Maybe a mini-​version? I dunno.
Will we go back to this location? Probably not. There are a few more fairly close in proximity. One I know is more generous with walking space. And maybe their management personnel will be happier to see paying customers =)

What’s everyone’s beef?! I think this place has to be my most favorite TC of all the ones I’ve been too… This is one of the new remodeled ones. It’s so nice, clean and fancy inside.
I’ve been to this place a handful of times. Once for breakfast and few times for dinner/​happy hour. The service is quick and friendly. I also like how they give you a number and they walk your food out to you. Nice touch Taco Cabana.
Food is always consistent from what I remember it to be. Breakfast is so yummy, plentiful and cheap. Margs are decent and even better at happy hour because you can’t beat that price point. We usually get the fajita dinner depending on how many of us there are. This is on the go to list and is great because they are open all the time. No matter the time of day I can count on TC.

There are many things that you may know about Taco Cabana. but there are some great things I would like to say…
First, 20% Military Discount Everyday! Not just some random holiday or kooky promotion. they genuinely support the military versus many of the other establishments. For this reason, I put Taco Cabana at the top of my list to eat at when one is nearby.
Simply show your military, veteran, or other ID to get the discount.
Second, the recent remodel has allowed a more relaxing and modern atmosphere. I like the solid wood tables and the color schemes. It’s hard to think that you are sitting in a «fast food» styled place with restaurant feel.
Third, the food is genuinely good and fresh. Most times than not, for a simple meal you cannot beat fresh grilled beef or chicken with freshly made salsas that are local. NOT poured from an over sized bag that was delivered to the place.
Overall, I could say many personal things that are great about Taco Cabana. but the main thing I will say is that they do it for the customer. Never a snarky cashier and always a smile while keeping the place clean.
Thank you for honoring our military as well… I wish more businesses would do that on an EVERYDAY basis.
