I don’t know why I keep coming here. I never order food. Always just 1 drink. Every single time it takes 10 minutes plus to get it. I’m not sure what’s worse; this service or the fact I keep giving them my money. This time may be the last time. This is the worst Sonic I’ve EVER been to, and I am a once a day Sonic stopper. Staying away from this location starting now!

I don’t know what’s going on at this location. Drinks are never coming out right. The man who takes the orders may need new training or hearing aid… what a waste of time and money. I can’t even order my lemon water anymore from this location. They changed something. One little lemon and taste like straight water plus the price of a lemon water went way up. The car hop I had was a hispanic women she was very nice and helpful. She had to go back and forth inside because the order taker messed up the whole order 3times. Ughhhhhh

I use to be a general manager of a Corporate Sonic over in Houston, my store was in the top 100 in the nation for many years. So I enjoy Sonic, it is a good brand with good quality Breakfast, lunch and dinner with great discount specials, but lately the Sonics here in Austin have all been shooting way under par and the owners need to take action. I recently moved to Round rock and have yet to have a good Sonic experience. I understand the Austin and Round rock areas are franchise owned but that is no excuse for poor quality and service. The sonic here has about a 30% chance of getting your order right. The man who took my order this morning didn’t seem to understand how to take orders, constantly asking me to stop while he catches up, and it seems when i do go there and its him who takes my order(his voice is recognizable) it seems to be the same. I order my wife a cranberry limeade with spark added and It almost always is wrong. Many times they are missing cranberry, spark or without carbonation. This morning her drink tasted like cranberry juice with lime added, no carbonation at all. The carhopes have been pretty friendly but it seems whoever is incharge of that store really needs to shape it up. I will most likely not be going to this Sonic again which is unfortunate since it is within a half mile of my house, but the quality and service at this location has really put me off.

We actually just gave up and cancelled our order. The guy taking the order got the first meal right. We asked for crispy bacon on the second, and he didn’t know how to do it. So a lady came on, who I would assume was the manager. She deleted the entire first meal. Screwed up the second, then got mouthy about my husband wanting the add-in chocolate flavor IN the coffee. «We don’t put sides in the coffee…» Uh? We finally said forget it, just cancel it. They would spit in it or screw it up beyond repair. I realize fast food managers might not be held to the same expectation as another customer service manager, but don’t be a dumbass because you aren’t listening. ATTENTIONOWNER/FRANCHISEE: Look at all these reviews. The level of basic customer service is appalling.

The guy kept rudely interrupting with“is that all” and«will there be anything else» Guy left off the mustard and the lady gave less than minimum packs and begrudgingly went in to get more. No chili, only a little grease on «Chili» dog. They all seemed not to care and the food was at least terrible. What happened to Sonic? Oh, like most restaurants, mgr pay has not kept up with inflation. Even is less than 30 years ago.

This sonic is awful. I waited ten minutes for mozzarella sticks and a strawberry slush. There were only two other cars there and when someone arrived after me, they received their order first. I was on a time crunch because I needed to be at work soon so I left as soon as possible when I got my order. When I checked my bag, I had no mozzarella sticks and my slush basically had no ice. It was basically just syrup and water. I will never go back to this sonic because they always mess up my order and I watch as the servers just stand inside talking. The one on 620 is way better.

Horrible. Didn’t get half our food the first time. Still didn’t get it all the second time. After that they just quit responding to us. We only ordered two meals. Don’t know who was in charge that night, but if they still work there– expect the worst customer service you’ve had in a while.

The food and drinks are average as far as Sonics go — but I’m giving it two stars because EVERY time we pay with cash the carhop keeps our change. My husband stopped today and the carhop actually asked if he wanted change back(usually they just assume and leave), my husband said yes he did — the guy walked off and didn’t return.

Late night stop for desserts. 6 hot fudge sundaes. Card swipe broken. 10 minutes. Sundaes overfilled and melting. When we pulled the lids off we had a mess. Good thing we had towels from swimming at the Y. Aaaaaand the fudge was burnt. Crunchy and tasted like coffee grounds. Dislike.

Saturday night I really wanted a jalapeño cheeseburger. At 9:40 I ordered a jalapeño cheeseburger combo with a Coke Zero no ice and a 44oz vanilla coke. At 9:46 I received my bag of food. The carhop hadn’t noticed the absence of drinks and was about to give me my change and leave. I reminded her that I still needed two drinks. At 9:50 I pressed the buzzer to ask about the drinks I still hadn’t received. When they were brought out the Coke Zero had ice in it, so I asked for one without ice. I left at about 9:53, and when I got home to enjoy my jalapeño cheeseburger found a couple of breakfast sandwiches instead. This used to be a perfectly good Sonic, but I’m not in a hurry to go back after that.
