Federal law requires Banks to report cash transactions over a certain amount which includes obtaining the SSN, occupation and other identifying information of the person conducting the cash transaction. No need to get upset at the bank, they are only complying with the law. Any other bank would be required to do the same.

There are definitely two sides to every story. As a former president of this non-​profit organization, I was extremely happy with this bank. The employees were friendly, patient and professional. Every time we had a request, the bank responded promptly. They really went out of their way to accommodate our needs, waived our service fees and paid us interest, I should also mention that the bank is also very supportive of the community matters.

Costumer service is nonexistent at this bank. Every time I enter the premises, I leave extremely upset with their rudeness & lack of service training. In the end, our nonprofit organization agree to close the account & bank where else, because it was too stressful for me as treasurer.
With so many banks available, do your research & consider going elsewhere.
