Wonton noodle soup was one of the worst I’ve tried in a long time. Wontons tasted like it came out of the freezer. The noodles and flavor of the soup was bland. The flies love it though.

got the curry and the satay fishball skewers. Each comes with 2 skewers and some pickled cabbage. The fishballs are freshly fried. The satay is more like the Taiwanese satay, and the curry is not has cooked into the fishballs but more like a dip/drizzled. It didn’t taste like the traditional HK style but the flavors are decent.

Yes this place is dirt cheap but the food here is not good. We ordered the chicken wings, fish balls, fried pork intestines and wonton soup. Everything was bland especially the wonton soup. The chicken wings taste a little sour. The worst part is the gang of flies that was surrounding us. Can’t enjoy your food when they keep trying to get at your food. I would never come back again.

Great food! The spicy fried fish ball on a stick is amazing! Their noodle soups are delicious as well. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food is good and cheap!

Most Asian noodle soup places open late but this little joint opens early(7am). The place is more of a food stall tucked away in the corner of the plaza however they have tables for you to sit and eat. Just be prepared for windy/rainy days since the tables are covered but still outside. Food is inexpensive and good. The sautéed duck and chicken noodle soups are both equally good. The broths are light but for those who prefer a bolder flavor, there are condiments on the side which you can add. I also recommend the fried intestines for those who have a taste for this kind of stuff. It’s quite delicious: crispy and doesn’t have a strong smell. Given the name of this food establishment, I also tried their fish balls. I don’t think they are anything to rave about but then I’m also not a huge fish ball fan. My little niece on the other hand loves them and she is a picky eater.

I cannot eat here anymore, every time I eat any of their noodles I get mild diareah. If use to be okay because I’m saving money because it’s so cheap. But ever since they steadily increase the price, there is no sense in eating at this place anymore. I’m not gonna abuse my body anymore.

My friend took me here on a Saturday afternoon. Since it was a hot and humid day, I wasn’t looking forward to the outdoor seating. But he swore by the fish balls at this little hole-in-the-wall. We ordered 2 orders of fish balls, chicken wings, and a large duck and soup. It only costed $ 17!!! I repeat…$ 17 to feed 3 people. Holy cow! It was super packed so we had to be aggressive with asking around to see who was leaving. Getting a table was like winning the lottery. Personally, I thought this place was pretty delicious. It wasn’t the best thing I ever ate. But for the value, it was on point. Surprisingly, the fish balls was my least favorite dish. I liked the fried chicken wings the most. If it wasn’t so far from where I live, I would come here more regularly.

The place used to have a C rating but now it’s an A so that’s good — the restaurant honestly looks a bit gross. It’s like a hole in the wall place that has a couple of tables outside for you to dine in. Even though the place looks bad(there are also a lot of flies) definitely give this place a shot. Their food imo taste better than some fancy restaurants — the food however is very good. They make a really good version of the street foods found in Hong Kong. The noodles are delicious and so is the soups. I also tried their fried calamari which was also pretty good but had more of an American taste than the traditional HK taste

The food is outstanding. Every single person there is super nice except for one young guy who got mad at me and hated me the entire time I was there for no reason lol but that’s cool. Recommend: Intestine: so good but it can be a little bit too much fat melted in your mouth. Quail: also good but sometimes it can be dry. Tofu: 10⁄10 would order again. Fish ball: same as above. Everything else: haven’t tried yet but you should be man/woman up and try everything.

As an intestine lover, I love their fried intestine ! Their fried squid/calamari is just OK, but for a cheap price, you should try their fried intestine if you’re a big fan of intestine. I don’t really like their fried fishball because it’s just different somehow… Besides this place, there’s a Boba place called Boba Bear where you can drink Boba and do hookah, but no need to spend your extra money on that because they also sell Boba Milk tea.

Sooooooo glad I came across this place. It’s a tiny shop outside next to the supermarket. First time here and the owner was friendly and conversational. Ordered the fried squid, fried satay fish ball and beef noodle soup. All of those orders were delicious and came out fast. The fried squid was just amazing and sorta tastes like Popeyes but better. I recommend fried squid to everyone. I am definitely coming back to try everything else on the menu haha the prices are amazingly cheap also! Even though there is only outside seating I love the set up it makes me feel like I’m in Asia eating street food which I like.

I loooove fish ball noodle soup, so when I found out that there is a little shop that sells Hong Kong street style food, I knew I had to go try it out. Pros: Very inexpensive. However, be aware that there are«hidden»” charges, such as extra cost for egg noodles, large size, etc. I say hidden because there are signs everywhere and you can easily miss it. The broth was quite flavorful with green onions, bean sprouts, and dried onion flakes. There was plenty of noodles for the noodle-loving person, such as myself. I also tried the wonton noodles, which I also enjoyed. What can I say? This is good, cheap comfort food and I can definitely see myself coming here quite often. Tip: The regular and large size bowls don’t seem to be much different from each other, so just order the regular. Cons: Outdoor seating, which can be annoying depending on the weather. Also, I didn’t like that they leave out the sauce bottles out on the tables like that. The germ freak in me tried not to think about the kinds of things that had come in contact with the tip of the Sriracha hoisin sauce bottles.

Great spot for a hole in the wall(order and pickup food court style) if you’re trying to get quick noodle soup. This place blows TK noodle out the water on every level including price and quality. The bowls only cost $ 4(or more depending on the size you order) and they have little tables nearby where you can sit, eat and relax. The soup broth is delicious and definitely fulfilling. Cash only.

This place totally brings me back to HK with their street vendor style! We had the large beef noodle soup, the small duck noodle soup, and the curry fishballs for $ 14 The soup is really flavorful and this is true cantonese comfort food for me. Even though there was a decent amount of duck in my noodles, my soup wasn’t super greasy. The beef noodle came with a lot of tender cuts of meat. The fishballs didn’t have the«boney» grit most store bought fishballs have and the curry sauce was good but not overpowering. Can someone open one in Irvine, please??? Tip: You sit outside so I don’t recommend coming on a windy or rainy day.

I am in love with this little secret wonder in Rowland Heights! I tried the beef soup! It was super yummy! I will def be bringing my friends to this little shop. It’s also located in a cute little plaza with other shops and food places. It’s a must try!

Still one of my favorite places for good n cheap eats. I’ve noticed all the food items have gone up 50¢-75¢ in the past year. Everything is only $ 2.25-$ 6 so this spot won’t put a huge dent in ur pocket. Parking still sucks even though it’s a super spacious lot shared with Garden Café, Supreme Dragon, HK2 Food District, etc. Hong Kong Fishball House is the utmost definition when it comes to a hole in the wall joint. It looks like it belongs in the streets of HK lol. HKFBH is known for their noodle soups, fish balls and other fried munchies. My top choice is their duck noodle soup that currently runs for $ 4.75 for a reg sized foam cup but all of the soups are upgradable to large for a buck more. It comes with pieces of roast duck and 1 fish ball. If you’re a fan of intestines, the fried pork rectum aka intestines is a MUST order! It’s lightly battered, soft n not too chewy and it’s a tasty snack for yourself or to share.

— Locale Destination — It’s on Colima Rd and Fullerton Rd in Rowland Heights. It’s located right by «Shau Mei Taiwanese Deli» and a big Asian supermarket. Cash only. Everything is like $ 4, $ 3.25, $ 4.50 — only quarter for changes. One of the workers(maybe the owner guy?!) speaks English, which is kinda rare in this area. It’s just a small window — outside seating only. Once they got your food ready, they’ll call the item name. So just keep an «ear» on it. Plenty of parking. — Gluttony Expedition — Fish ball noodle soup: Small $ 4 is good enough for me — but not so much for many of you: p Good soup for the price. I’m afraid they use MSG because it made me thirsty. Rice noodle was just ok. Fish balls were pretty soft yet bland on the taste department. Cheap yet decent soup! You don’t need any sauce for soup! — Conqueror’s Deduction — I like«hot soup» to be hot, not lucrative warm. This soup is good for the cold days. I like that it was kinda small, but good enough for me. I don’t like to have a «leftover». Nothing fancy. Good and cheap snack/light meal spot. Don’t forget cash!

FOOD: I love this place. Delicious Hong Kong style street foods including fried fishballs, tofu, wings and a variety of noodle soups including fishball noodle soup and beef stew noodle soups. They also have lots Asian herbal tea drinks! PRICE: cheap cheap cheap!!! CONS: due to the stinky tofu location, this place smells nasty and the restrooms are not hygienic.
