Blehhhh. Came here for a weekday lunch and I’m sorry, it really stunk. I had three items off the menu while I had attempted to order about six. Maybe I came on a bad day, I’m not sure, it was around the Thanksgiving weekend(not during the holiday however). When I tried to order items off the menu such as sushi, glass noodles, or Korean pancake, the waiter’s response was, «Sorry our chef isn’t in right now.» To that I responded WTF. So who the hell exactly is cooking the food then? I mean, let’s be completely honest here, it doesn’t exact take rocket science to make Korean pancake, glass noodles, sushi. Looking back now, I should’ve left as soon as I heard that but I being a huge fan of Korean food, I stayed. Ultimately ordered soon dofu, bibimbap, beef bbq. Soon Dofu: Absolutely horrible. Ordered it with medium spiciness, came out with«no taste.» The price itself however was much cheaper than BCD.(Around $ 6 – 7) Bibimbap: It was good but certainly nothing special. Apparently, it doesn’t require a chef to make this particular item anyways… Korean Beef BBQ: Quite normal, very expensive for lunch. Side dishes: About four types, good kimchi, but not good enough to make up for the other items. All in all, my experience here stunk and considering the fact that there are soooo many fantastic options for Korean food in this area, I won’t be coming back here again. Maybe it really was a bad day for these people but that being said, I’m certainly paying enough $$$ to at least have a chef cook my food for me.

Fuck yeah! First to review. It’s been two days and I am still recovering from lunch here. I’ve never had this much kimchi my entire life. And who says I’m complaining Good service and Asian restaurants don’t usually go in the same sentence together, you know? We all know the drill… You sit down. They hand you the sticky menu. They leave. You read. They go back. You order. They cook. You eat. They bring back the check. You leave a $ 2 tip — cheapskates. Throw in a C rating, and that pretty sums it all up. End of story. But not Jin Mi. Here, you are greeted by an ever-smiling, friendly and motherly lady, dressed in all-black, complete with black-rimmed glasses. She sits you to your table, hands you the menu smiling. Now, that’s enough reason for me to come back here thrice this last couple of weeks. And although there is a pronounced language barrier, she tries and manages to strike up a conversation with you — thank god for their bilingual menu. Anyhoo, food is just okay. It’s great for a quick lunch if you work in the area like I do. But the service surely made up for it. Oh, before I forget. About those kimchis… be sure to finish those kimchis and pickled veggies they give you. It will be refilled, free. I actually had to take home my lunch the last time because I got so full just eating kimchi. And it’s homemade — that’s what the lady told me. Lady? Fuck. Next time, I’ll ask her name and maybe she’ll give me free lunch.
