It was my boyfriend and my first time at Honey Pig and we were immediately greeted as we walked in. Our server was incredibly nice and thoroughly explained their concept and gave us multiple suggestions for our party of two. As indecisive as I am, I was completely overwhelmed by the choices and selections but I managed to recooprate myself and ordered a small beef combo with brisket, ribs, and steak. Meat quality is top notch and the saying«you get what you pay for,» is never wrong. I came in with a self service mentally in mind and was completely blown away by their service. Our server cooked for us and promptly refilled our radish and rice paper. We will definitely come back with a few of our foodie friends.

the food is like a 3, but service was good so rounding up the staff is very ethnically diverse; this is the first time i’ve seen such a diverse staff at honey pig but they were all attentive and provided great service. the number of times they come by to your table was a little too much actually. we ordered the pork combo, which was about $ 47 for 3 different cuts. I’ve never seen combos offered at honey pig before this place but i don’t think it was a good decision because the portion was quite small. I would rather order a la carte next time. the meat quality was pretty good but i didn’t care for the super thinly sliced pork belly. the salad had WAY Too much oil in the dressing. the pork is already really oily so the oily salad did nothing to cut the fattiness of the pork. the fried rice was quite disappointing as it was very bland. they added cheese, which was something i haven’t seen before at other honey pigs, but it was such a small amount that it was forgettable. the free egg was good. the dongchimi was good but we had to ask for it.

After eyeing honey pig in Korea town for a while I’m glad one opened up in Rowland heights! This is not your typical AYCE kbbq. We came here for a late night dinner(10pm) and were greeted by a large group of servers. Turns out that we had just missed the dinner rush. This is not your typical AYCE kbbq place, you order your choice of meat and side dishes include bean sprouts, kimchi, salad, rice paper, and a few dipping sauces. Now, they give you such a large portion of bean sprouts and kimchi for a reason… Complimentary kimchi fried rice is given at the end of your meal! We ordered black angus steak and pork belly(their signature dish) and both meats were great. It is a little on the pricey side but the quality definitely makes up for it. We ordered for two and after finishing up the meats we were so full that we barely ate any of the fried rice. Service was great(we were the only party in the restaurant). Servers cook everything for you at your table. I think I’ll stay away from ktown for kbbq after this place opened up. Same great quality, awesome service, and without the dreadful long wait.
