Is this really closed? Darn, I wanted to come back for some more chicken. If you routinely use the 60 freeway and drive pass Rowland Heights, consider stopping by for some fried chicken! I shared a Combo A with a friend, and we barely finished it! Combo A includes your choice of rice(regular or fried chicken rice), salad, soft drink, and of course chicken(chicken strips, chicken wings, and flavor). Add another soft drink for $ 1, add french fries(they’re really seasoned potato wedges) for $ 1, and you have yourself a huge meal for about $ 18. At least the portions were enough to make the both of us full, but the prices are pretty high for just 8 chicken wings. Nevertheless, it is an experience. CAUTION: If you can’t handle spiciness, go for the non-spicy flavor(I believe it’s garlic flavored). However, if you enjoy spiciness, choose spicy wings. They are incredibly spicy, but so worth it. _________________________________________________ Pros: Delicious chicken wings, french fries are at a good portion Cons: They’re now closed???, expensive price for just chicken wings

hmm… i thought this place was a bit expensive for just chicken wings. Since I really like chicken wings, the boyfriend suggested I try out this place after he had it a few times with his friends. We got a box(i forget which combo it was) and got half garlic soy sauce, and half sweet & spicy. Their wings are slightly crispy and coated with sauce. While my boyfriend prefers the garlic soy sauce flavored wings, I much preferred the sweet & spicy. Despite being able to take very spicy foods, I found these wings to be a bit spicy even for my taste after a 4 – 5 wings(the spice kicks in later)… probably shouldn’t have ate them consecutively though without water… The wings were good but it was nothing mind-blowing. 3 stars.

shared the Combo A with a friend and we still had leftovers! comes with chicken fried rice, 4 peice drumsticks or 8 peice wings, orange wedge and salad. we added french fries and an extra drink for $ 1 each. got their drumsticks non spicy and it was sooo good! Chicken fried rice was some-what spicy, but really good. french fries were like potato wedges, also tasted good! total came out to be ~$ 18 they also had this random drawing ball thingy that lets you win stuff. we won 1 piece chicken wing. and for vday, they let you take a free instax pic. pretty cool. ill definitely be coming back.

Dear KyoChon, I don’t want to like you but I do. It must be the crack you sprinkle on top or the msg baked into your skin, but something about you keeps you on my brain. Even though you’re small — pinky-sized ladies! — and expensive — mom warned me about your kind — I’d still come back when I have that itch. Will you be my Valentine? –Me PS. Ain’t no thang like the chicken wang.

I like their garlic chicken wings, the garlic flavor is really marinated in it. They only have 2 flavors, garlic and spicy… unfortunately, I can’t really eat spicy food. Their food however, is pretty expensive for the quantity they give. We bought(I think it was) about 8 pieces of chicken wings for around $ 10. I can get much more chicken with $ 10. Their chicken is also pretty small in size, I just like the flavor and that the chicken are fried to tender, not old, with lots of flavor. There are sitting areas. You go and order the food, they give you a disk that light up when your order is ready. I would recommend to just order their chicken wings only, don’t order the other stuff, like the noodle, not worth it. I like their boxes too :) It’s cute. Place is tiny with outdoor and indoor sittings. Big parking lot.

I took one of my gf here today with our kids for lunch. We ordered the Bento Box B this time. I wanted to try their chicken fried rice that came with this combo. And ofcourse, I ordered an extra side of their regular 4 pc fried chicken… the one that comes with the combo is NOT enough=). My friend ordered a side order of their crispy fried chicken tender-regular. I did not order the spicy fried chicken like I said I would. I was so craving just their plain one! My gf loved it. She said its really good too! I love the chicken ofcourse. The chicken strips itself was a 2, nothing to brag about. And the fried rice… well the employee said its not spicy. Side note, never accept their opinion on what is ‘spicy’! The kids couldn’t handle the mild spice on the fried rice. We should’ve just gotten plain, white rice. So, this is my second time there this week. The regular fried chicken wings are really good, definitely worth trying for those who havent. But the other side dishes that accompanies it was blah… Worth a try to always taste and eat good fried chicken!

I gave KyoChon several tries, but never grew too fond of this place. They serve only 2 flavors of wings: garlic or spicy. If you order 8 pieces and want to try both flavors, you can ask them to give you half and half. My personal preference is their garlic flavored wings. It’s not too salty, but they are fried without being too dry. As for the spicy wings, it seems like the more you eat, the spicier it will get. Overall, their chicken wings were good, but I really think this place is overpriced. It’s probably one of those been there-done that type of place for me, because I personally think I can get much more quality and quantity if I am buying from somewhere else besides KyoChon.

This place is so good and the plaza that it’s in(Yes Plaza) is also a fun place to be. It’s around a lot of other good places like Phoenix and Lee’s Sandwiches. The little patio area in front of it is unique and a cool place to chill. It’s near a small arcade that is pretty chill to be around also. It consists mainly of basketball and crane games. Just go here and try both flavors of chicken wings, damn. I only got 5 wings but I could probably eat 10 – 15.

Holy mother. Did I just die and go to heaven or are these wings really that good? I don’t know about you guys but if you haven’t tried these delectable wings, you need to get to the nearest Kyochon and try them pronto. These wings are crisp and full of flavored garlic & soysauce(and I love garlic btw). Me & my boyfriend usually order the 20 or 30 piece Original flavor and has been stuck on it since, we never really thought of ordering or trying anything else out. But, just recently my cousin brought home the hot flavored wings and of course, I wanted to try. Wow, not only are these really good but they’re pretty spicy too! And I’m really big on spicy food; nonetheless, it was just wonderful. Side note: they usually give you more than what you ordered. Whenever I order the 20 piece, they give me almost 30. The reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is because of the price issue. They almost come out to a buck per wing! But who cares? If something is that tempting, your brain doesn’t do the thinking, your taste buds do!

Had the garlic soy sauce and spicy chicken wings, mmmmm!!! Would have been even better if I had me some beer and rice. I hate women, I mean I love women that are always right. The skin to meat ratio is most excellent on these wings, but why? Fried chicken skin gets crunchy and with the most perfect amount of chicken meat equals, mmmmm!!! So this skin with whateva sauce you choose is beautifully glistening yet crispy and soft, juicy and moist meat waiting for you on the inside, mmmmm!!! How come they don’t have a spicy garlic?

After all the walking and shopping, we came to Kyochon for to-go dinner before we headed back to home. The place is tiny and located next to the tea bar in «Yes» food court(aka Yeh-Si). There was no A/C in Kyochon and on a hot day, it’s was a little unbareable. Tea bar however has A/C. We made our order then headed over next door for A/C. Usually we got just the chicken but this time we decided to order a chicken fried rice too. Sadly to say Kyochon chicken is really only about the chicken. The chicken fried rice is blend and tasteless. I felt like salting it a little as I was eating it. It’s no big deal but I was expecting if a place could make the chicken this good should at least have a decent chicken fried rice. From now on, I am just going to get their chicken and stay away from other things else.

We were out in The Heights(can I start calling Hacienda Heights that?) and I wondered if my cousin and her family were in town from Bako… they were! We spontaneously decided to meet up for lunch at KyoChon at Yes Plaza in Rowland(The OTHER Heights)… me & Yoshi… my cousin & her SUPER family in tow! My cousin had been dreaming of KyoChon, she was telling us. Her husband dryly said, «Yeah, she dreams of Korean fried chicken, not me.» «No, you were there!» she retorted quickly. «You were eating chicken, too!» And so here was her dream fulfilled, except with me and Yoshi tagging along! Thanks to the Super Family for treating us to lunch… can you believe that between the five of us(four adults + 2 kids), we nearly finished off 50 of those addictive little suckers?(It did take a LOOOONG time for them to make 50 of them, but I guess that’s what happens when they make everything to order) I was complimented for being healthy and for attempting to add some veggie in my meal(I was the only one who touched the salad), but I was really just trying to de-spicify my tongue… no health motivations here! Anyway, the chicken wings were great, the service was incredibly nice(free refills on soda!), but the best part of the meal was getting to spend time with the Supers. Thank you and we *heart* you guys!

Although I’m not a big fan of Korean people, I’m a huge fan of the food. My parents grew up in Korea so we eat a lot of Korean food and I love it. When my friend told me about this concept of Korean chicken wings, I thought they couldn’t be all that great but I was wrong. These little bastards are really tasty. They’re also really expensive as well. It comes out to be almost a dollar per wing and they don’t even come close to the size of a Hooters wing. You have to buy all the sides individually unless you order a bento box then you get to sample a little bit of everything. Saddly, I have to stick with the mild flavored wings. The hot ones are wayyy too spicy for me. If you know me, you know me and spicy don’t mix. I start sweating up a storm. It’s rather embarrassing in social situations when I have to keep wiping my forehead with a napkin. Still a good place to check out though if your in the Heights.

We’d been hearing about these wings for several months and were glad to find out they opened in Rowland Heights. Decided they’d make a good Sunday lunch/snack. I must admit these double fried wings are crunchy, not oily. It was a hot day and they didn’t have any seating inside so we ordered and sat outside in partial shade. I only mention this because those wings are damn spicy(sweet spicy type). The garlic soy are really tasty to. I liked everything about the flavor, and crispiness of the wings. My two complaints are the cost and size of the wings. I thought I had ordered the pigeon wing special. They were tiny wings, do you think that’s why there so crispy? I need a little poultry on my wings not just skin and bone. I realize that I will go back because there so darn flavorful but if they could use a larger wing it would really improve my outlook. I ate at a place called Pizza and Chicken Love Letters in Garden Grove and the wings were just as good and not as pricey. And wings looked like turkey wings compared to KyoChon.

The fried chicken is the Best! Both the garlic and the spicy versions are yummy. Expensive for fried chicken but sooooo much better than Kentucky Fried Chicken. You’ll probably need to eat the KyoChon chicken with plain rice since it is kinda salty. Do NOT get the Bulgogi which is SUPERSALTY and not remotely reminiscent of Bulgogi. Do NOT get the Chicken Fried Rice which is down right gross. Don’t forget to CALLAHEAD for your order or else you’ll have to wait at least 20 min for your freshly made chicken to cook.

At long last, my first taste of the new KFC… Korean Fried Chicken! I’ve been wanting to have me some KFC for the past year and I finally got the chance today at Kyochon with a friend. It was definitely worth the wait and lived up to the hype! Super crispy, non greasy, flavorful chicken wings. I wanted to try it all, but I had an order of wings with both types of sauces. My first bite of the spicy was mouth numbingly spicy, but after the heat subsided, I really enjoyed the flavor. The sweeter garlic wings were also very good and perfect for alternating with the spicy wings. I also have to mention that I ordered the 8 piece wings, but I got more like 12 of them. Is this normal? My friend had the crispy rice coated chicken which was also really good. I’m not sure how to explain it, kind of like chicken strips, but covered in little rice crispy type balls. It was super crunchy and I just wished they could give you a side of the wing sauce instead of ranch and honey mustard. We also ordered fries which my friend described perfectly as «just like McDonalds» Yes, it is pricey and the wings are really TINY. They’re like pigeon wings! I’m hoping you are paying for quality and the reason that the wings are small is because they’re natural and not pumped up on hormones. I guess I shouldn’t be concerned about Kyochon’s wings being tiny, but more worried about Kentucky Fried Chicken’s massive ones.

I absolutely love the chicken here! so delicious, crispy, and flavorful! I recommend the garlic soy sauce. The only complaints I have are [ x ] the average waiting time is 15 minutes [ x ] it’s about $ 1 for a piece of a chicken. overpriced! since their tiny ! Great for a snack!

BESTFRIEDCHICKENINLA? YES. this is honestly the best fried chicken i’ve ever eaten! the hot sweet sauce. is too spicy for me. haha but the soy garlic is goood! lovely crispyness fresh out the fryer then painted with delicious sauce on that crackly skin!!! i’ve only tried the wings. but i’d go back to try the other items. like the crispy rice chicken strip i was annoyed that they made me wait lik 10 – 15 minutes for my food. but they said it was because they fry it FRESH so HOWCAN I COMPLAIN? only down side. 5BUCKSFORFOURWINGS. thats like. a snack!!! good thing i have tons of free coupons i got from jonathan’s «gold standard» event! life saver! i’ve also tried their chicken wrap at «gold standard» it wasn’t that great. stick with the fried chicken!

Super delicious chicken wings. They have 2 different flavors, Soy Garlic and Spicy… they are both good. I suggest getting an order with both because the flavors are so different and provide a great contrast. They also have some frozen yogurt you can help yourself to after you finish off your meal. If you’re into chicken wings this is a one of a kind! Must try!

WTF … I did not just eat almost 20 of these soy garlic and spicy chicken wings and I wasn’t really that hungry. Really? Are they that good? I would have to say yeah because they are cooked just how I like them, crispy. Pretty reasonably priced because I think for 50 wings, pickled radish and some of that cabbage salad mess it came out to like $ 44 something. I know I was full but I still kept eating. It’s kinda like watching 2 girls 1 cup, you know you should stop but you still keep watching. Actually I only watched about 15 seconds of 2 girls 1 cup because that shit was gross … but I ate about 20 wings when I should have stopped at 13 because they tasted nothing like what they were eating in that video. Go here but just don’t over-eat, you can easily get carried away. And if you want to make some extra friends, sneak in some rice in your pockets … you’re in Rowland Heights you know.
