My family and I have been coming to this place for more than 15 years. At this point, I call the ladies«Auntie»! Their stamp card is one of the only ones I always carry in my wallet. This is definitely my OG #1 boba joint. The actual boba is really chewy and delicious, unlike many of those franchises. We always come for quality ingredients too — none of that sugary syrup slushy nonsense. This is the only place I can get taro milk made from REAL taro. It’s been my go-to drink for over 10 years, and I’m not planning on changing it! They also do a great red bean or green bean milk tea.

very sweet lady… but the taro(real taro) and avocado smoothie is not good. :[ all I could taste was tea in both of them. it just lacked flavor.

I used to pass by this place every weekend when I was younger. But never tried it until today! I wish I had tried it years ago! Going in, I was hesitant because it looks like a store rather than a drink place. The lady was very patient as I looked over the menu to pick a drink. I ended up going with the Taro Milk. I wanted little taro bits in my drink so she just blended it less. This place uses real taro rather than powder which is definitely a huge plus! It was yummmmmmy! If it wasn’t so far I would definitely go all the time. Now my goal is to find a place close to me that is similar to this place :)

I come here every time I visit LA! It’s a nice, little Asian shop that sells Chinese and American snacks. Also, the owners are really nice people, who definitely try to accommodate everything to fit your taste preferences(: Everything is relatively cheap, so the price range is perfect for poor college students(like me). Everyone should visit if they happen to be in the area!

This place is asian owned so you shouldn’t expect amazing 5 star service like you get at more American restaurants. It’s a different vibe because of the workers. When I first entered, no greeting and I walked up to the register to order and the worker didn’t say anything to me. She just kept making the order for the person before me. Usually, workers would say they would be right with the customer waiting? Again, asian owned so don’t expect that kind of service. BUT, food was great! I got the hot grass jelly for $ 5.50. No tax, just flat $ 5.50. It comes with 3 toppings and I got taro, red beans and rice balls. They gave a lot of taro, which I loved! It’s REAL taro too. You can bite into the chunks YUMM. The amount of grass jelly they gave me was like 1 ½ yogurtland cups. It’s a lot! I shared with a friend and we didn’t finish it all. We left like 1⁄5 of it because we came from dinner. Too full but it was definitely a great finish to our dinner. Not too sweet because I asked for no added white sugar. I loved it! It’s a market in here but you can tell nobody really buy the stuff because it seems old & untouched. The café/food part of this place is good though. A wide selection of teas & authentic asian desserts. Check in for 10% off.

One of the OG joints in the 626 selling boba for two decades now. Super mom & pop feel when you open the door. Take a step inside and you’ll feel like you’re back in the 90’s and inside your Asian aunt’s living room. This place gets it right though. From the drinks to the shaved ice it’s always perfect! It may not look the fanciest from the outside or inside but there’s a reason why they’ve been here for two decades!

This is a nice ma & pop shop. Little Bean isn’t a separate café location as it is located in a Chinese market where you can buy products such as herbs, spices, dried foods, and what not. So this isn’t really a place for you to chill and hang with friends like other boba places. My friend and I came here for some drinks after dinner. He told me that his coworkers have mentioned a place that makes delicious Durian smoothies. So we decided to check this out. I’m not much of a Durian fan, but my friend LOVES the fruit. So he got the Durian smoothie and I opted for the green milk tea. My drink was refreshing but in terms of flavor, I’ve had better. But my friend really enjoyed his Durian smoothie. The lady who made our drinks is really nice and has great customer service skills. If anyone loves Durian, then I recommend this place. Parking is easy too.

This place is nostalgic for me. I would come for the passionfruit with ai-yu jelly and boba all the time when i first got my license at the tender ripe age of 16. This was before every restaurant was selling boba by the boat load. I still remember my reaction when i took the first sip. Pure bliss! The tapioca balls were warm and chewy. It made the whole drink warm. Definitely worth the money. They always packed it to the brim too. There have been times the drink actually spilled out of the lid. Good stuff. Recently decided to give this place some love and got the mango with sago(small clear tapioca balls). They use real fresh mangoes. None of the powder stuff so you know what you’re getting is the real deal. I don’t know about you but i’m tired of fake processed stuff. Businesses who take the time to give their customers the best tells me a lot. If you want to know what freshness tastes like, give little bean a try. They also sell herbs, asian candied and snacks. Even shaved ice. Very extensive menu. Be sure to ask for a stamp card. Two free drinks at the end. Awesome.

I’ve read all the reviews and had high expectations. The lady that everyone seems to like was not in a good mood today, when I started to order she didn’t even look up and just told me «Wait». So… I ordered the shaved ice with 8 topping; which meant I paid extra($ 6.90) for the whole thing. It was really just so-so… The ingredients didn’t taste fresh. I’ve had many better. The place is more like a Chinese shop that even sold food like Quaker’s instant oatmeal and smelled like a mixture of herbs for some reason. After all my try-outs I still prefer the Class 302 mango shaved ice… Will not be coming back.

I’ve only tried the jasmine green milk tea and it’s pretty good! It wasn’t amazing though. I really wish that this place offered honey boba. The texture of the boba here is good– but bland IMO. HOWEVER, the customer service here is AMAZING. The lady at the counter is super sweet/nice! Plus, the drinks are super affordable here(about $ 3). Stamp card– 10 drinks = 2 drinks free! Where else can you get that? Overall, decent drinks but customer service really bumped it up by a star :)

I have been come to this place multiple times, and have to say that it was one of the best places to get boba milk tea. Little Bean is one of those hidden gems among the many other boba shops in Rowland Heights. When you walk in, you get flashbacks to childhood as you look at all the Asian candy. They have a vast selection of candies and chips, but the drinks are what you should come here for. The prices are great. For $ 4 – 5, you can buy a drink that will satisfy your soul if you prefer the actual taste of tea and boba and not fancy drinks full of syrups and colors. The boba is always so fresh and delicious and you can actually taste the tea in the drinks. They also have a stamp card that after buying 10 drinks, you get 2 drinks! I always recommend this place to my friends if they haven’t been here before.

So happened I was craving for green mung bean tea ever since drinking at 7 leaves… So I Unilocaled for green mung bean milk tea and I remembered bookmarking Little Bean. It was empty in the morning and the lady was nice. Ordered large tapioca+green bean+tea add aloe Used my check-in 10% which end up costing me $ 5. They also accept CC! My drink was good. Lots of boba, aloe, and tapioca. Well worth it.

My goodness … I’ve visited this Pacific Plaza for more than a dozen times over this past decade and I never noticed this hidden boba & snack & Asian candy shop until I was looking for some boba places via Unilocal about one month ago. The menu is pretty straightforward — Taiwanese shaved ice, juices(e.g. red sour plum), teas(e.g. ginseng fruits), flavored red /green teas(e.g. almond or honey milk red /green tea), smoothies(oh I see durian with milk!), Italian coffees, and hot desserts(mainly hot grass jelly, soy bean jelly a.k.a. tofu flower, yellow fungus & dates & lotus seed, etc). Taro milk(smoothie, small $ 3.95 + boba $ 0.50): The lady asked me if I wanted taro powder or real taro. Obviously I told her«real taro please»! Boba were warm & super soft and taro flavor was very balanced(not too sweet & not too milky). The drink actually tasted a bit like mung bean milk tea from 7 Leaves Café. Sweet owner and old school(like before Half & Half Tea House’s emergence) boba joint — nothing fancy here, just serving excellent quality boba drinks. P. S. — Don’t forget about the stamp card! Buy ten drinks and get TWO(yes — not one, but TWO) free drinks. This is like one of the best boba stamp card deal that you’ll find in the Southern California.

Boba here is soo good! By far one of the best boba drinks I had. And I normally don’t get boba anymore too, but whenever I’m around the area and want boba, Little Bean is the place I would want to go. I ordered a Green Milk Tea with Custard and Boba and the custard and boba was sweet which balanced out with the tea and the boba was chewy. The workers/owners there are super nice as well ^_^

This place is ALL about quality!!! I stopped in for a small ginger tea($ 4) which is made with real ginger. I was planning on having a relaxing evening at home working on my laptop and drinking ginger tea: P While waiting for my tea a lady sitting at the bar started talking to me and offered me her punchcard that was almost full. She told me they have the best boba milk tea in town but not to have any at the moment or I wouldn’t be able to sleep. She told me she was drinking a lemon green tea and they squeezed fresh lemons in it and they use fresh taro to make their drinks. She then asked me where I lived and where I worked and told me she was proud of me and ended up giving me her other punchcard. She said she didn’t go often but several of her cards were almost full !!! When my drink was ready, the lady who made my drink offered me a taste in a little spoon to see if I like it. Perfect !!! *Ginger tea is good for digestion, gives you energy, increases metabolic rate, heals the adrenal glands, balances stress hormone levels, stabilizes blood pressure, etc., etc.

I’ll bite and give them a 3.5 stars and round up. Walking in randomly, you’d be confused. You see compartments on the walls, which are where the candy are stored. I came in on a rec to get boba. Plus I was in the area and I was thirsty. I didn’t know what was happening and just pretended I knew what I was doing. I was greeted and the lady behind the counter greeted me. It was there and then only that I saw the boba/shaved ice menu. I went with something simple: green milk tea with boba: D. I got the small and since the Unilocal offer was 10% off, I got it for $ 2.88. After making it in front of me, I placed the straw in and got hot boba NOOO. Haha I had to wait a while for it to cool down and then drank it down. It was nothing too special, sweet, but good boba. The tea itself was alright haha. I do wish this place the best of luck, because, although they have a huge sign saying LITTLEBEAN, it’s hard to get in and out of plaza. Construction. SUCKS.

Had the shaved ice and I don’t get it. Really people. I thought it was bad, having a raspado before I figured it would be great, but nope, lacked flavor. Just a pile of shaved ice with not so great topping options. Boba, don’t like it so I skipped ordering it. Seems popular by locals. My friend use to work near by and was bragging about it, just put it this way, next time my friend tries to point out dessert, I’m looking the other way. The staff is nice and extremely polite.

This is one of my favorite mom and pop owned businesses in Rowland Heights. The same group of older ladies have been working there ever since I was in elementary school. This is such a fun and unique place to go to! It’s not your typical café. Imagine your typical boba joint meets candy shop meets café. There’s about four tables you can sit inside plus the couple of stools you can sit at their counter. There is a tv, but it’s usually some Asian drama or game show. They offer different board games/cards so that you and your friends can hang out. Just make sure you be respectful and put the games back after. Two thirds of the store is dedicated to their candy/Asian snacks. A lot of them are individually bagged which I think is convenient. They’ve also recently started selling scoops of ice cream. I used to always come here for shaved ice with friends. They have raised the price since to $ 4 :/but you get four topping choices included. I love their rice balls, coffee jelly, and regular jelly as toppings! They have a decent choice of toppings and offer their shaved ice to go too! I haven’t ordered a drink that I didn’t like here. I do warn you their boba is warm and super soft-meaning fresh! If that’s not your thing, then shy away from this place. I always tpi my drink upside down(before puncturing the top with my straw of course haha) to mix the boba with the drink. Some of my friends’ first sips have been the warm boba, so I find the upside down trick to be helpful. They accept credit cards without a minimum here. Super rare. Also, I’d be sure to grab a stamp card. With any ten purchases, you get TWO free drinks!

Tiny place in the plaza. I ordered Green Milk Tea with Boba. Great price! The milk tea was great and the tapioca was warm, soft, and tasted freshly made. They sell lots of interesting candies and have Asian board games. Not really a place to chill with friends. I recommend going there since there is never a line, service is friendly and quick, and the prices are cheap!
