The older man is pretty rude. How much is it for an hour? Does it always change? Because I usually come here with friends and felt like he charge me more this time. He is disrespectful. Happily taking my business elsewhere…

was a regular here with 8 of my friends who always go. they were always nice to us, we do not cause any trouble or anything. he even showed us his pool skills before. then all of a sudden today, my friend placed his drink on a pool table without thinking about it. all of a sudden the old man yelled at my friend and overeacted trying to make a scene. excuse me that is bad customer service. my friend did not know, and this man treats all of his balls and sticks like they are god damn gold or some shit. stupid ass old man. he just lost 8 customers. hope you guys close down. ZEROSTARS if i could

the owners watch you like a hawk while you play, they add an extra dollar or two if you repeatedly break the rules, like making the balls jump, or knock balls off the tables. standard pricing for asian pool halls. the place is small, not many tables. lots of parking though, since it’s in the middle of a plaza.

Okay place to come play pool with your friends. Honestly, I don’t know why we came here as I would’ve much rather went to Round 1 — I also suck at pool. I guess it is not as rowdy here but there was still a wait. The sticks were average and the tables were okay but they felt a bit small. I guess its cool if you like calm places. There is also nothing to do in DB or RH anyway huh.

$ 10 per hour of playing which isn’t bad at all. I came here just for fun on a double date. Some of the guys that play here are were beasts. Unfortunately the table behind us were kind of rude and the place has a strong cigarette smell. Other than that we had fun. They owners seemed really nice. They also have a stamp card so once you play 10 hours you get an hour for free!

I love the owners who take pride in their pool tables, good prices and they have a great option of pool tables and cues. High quality. However, I wish they didn’t smoke in the back door, you can sorta smell the cigarette smoke.

The owners here really care about maintaining their equipment and tables. The cues are always clean and the tables are being wiped after every use. They are also very nice and polite. Some people say $ 10/hr is a little steep but I do think it is worth it! Very brightly lit though. Best pool place that I have found in Rowland

My brother told me about this place, and I’ve been going back since. Tables are $ 10 per hour. They don’t have official stamp cards, but if you come for 10 hours, you get one free. There’s no problem with parking in this huge lot. It’s near a 99 cent store and next to a Korean BBQ restaurant. Not surprisingly, most people who frequent this place are Asian/Hispanic guys and they always stare at me and my friends if we don’t have a group of guys with us. They close late(midnight), so it’s a cool place to hangout. The tables are clean; the owner is really nice and polite. He wipes down the tables before you start. There’s a free water dispenser in the back, which I really like. This place is definitely Korean — with all the Korean girl band posters(Kara, SNSD, etc). There’s a check-in offer on Unilocal for free Korean billiard lesson :) Come learn how to play pool!

Great clean pool hall, tables are in perfect condition, owners are very friendly and it’s a chill environment. You’ll see pro players practice here from time to time, and you could also learn some pointers and lessons from the owner Kim.

I’ve been coming to this pool hall for many years and it has seen many owner changes. The recent owner change, however, has been the best yet. He definitely knows how to manage a pool hall. Some of the big changes include new, high quality pool tables, friendlier service, much cleaner environment, clean bathrooms, new décor and most importantly free WiFi!

Their pool sets aren’t quite what I’m used to. Everything’s…petite? The balls seem smaller and the sticks are a little shorter… Maybe they’re Korean sets? Nevertheless, pool is pool, and I love this game. Tables appear nicely maintained, felt is clean with no obvious potholes, and the tables auto-reload(!!!). $ 10 an hour is a little more than I’d love to pay but its reasonable, especially if you come with friends. Ambiance is alright. Décor could be dramatically improved(they have some posters on the otherwise bare walls but I think it’d be really cool if they had a giant blackboard wall or something that looked like graffiti art). There was a TV playing World Cup but it could definitely be used to play music videos instead for a better vibe. Music selection was good. And the owner seems really sweet and smiley. The tables are super packed which means you better watch out not to poke people in the ribs from surrounding tables(and watch out to avoid getting poked!). Try to get a table away from everyone else. But even then you may not be able to stand as far back as you’d like to align your shot before bumping into the table behind you. Not sure how often they host pool tournaments but they held one a couple days ago and a friend of a friend actually won! :) didn’t stay to watch but it sounded fun — started at 7PM and lasted 4 hours! $ 20 entry fee. Winner takes home $ 200? I’m not quite sure… Overall a cool place to hang out and play some pool.

Been coming to this place for about 1 year or over that. The pool place is a fun place to hangout out with friends and shoot some pool. The prices are good I believe it is 11 hr. They also sell drink for a fair price, Arizona ice tea just for 1 dollar

I must say I have become a regular at this billiards place. The owner is very friendly and always smiley. They have about six 8-ball tables and four 3-ball tables. I always see the owner come out and clean the tables as soon as a group is done playing with a table. The sticks are average but most of them are great for casual playing. This place charges $ 10 per hour. And also the bathrooms are clean now. The only down side is that on hot days it tends to get very hot inside. This is a very nice and cheap place to shoot some pool with your friends. Id recommend it over the other places around the area. Though the parking lot is not very lowered car friendly. If you have a lowered car use the Nogales entrance rather than the Colima entrances.

Started our game at 11:45pm and played until 2am(closing) on a Friday night. There were only two other tables plus ours playing out of the 11 tables. Music was good and bathroom was clean, nothing too nasty or pristine clean either. I don’t need or expect fancy wallpaper, shiny new sticks or decked out room. It was the perfect place to play with 3 of my other family members for 10 $ an hour! We had a great time and couldn’t have asked for a better price or place. Owner was nice and smiley. He came over to give my cousin an advice and made our experience even better. Would come here again with friends and family.

Got nothing to around in Diamond Bar/Rowland Heights/Walnut? This is something to do! Become a Poolhall Junky and shoot even if you’re not good at it. With $ 10/table by the hour, you can have some fun with 4 of your best pals! I haven’t tried the free lesson but I’m sure the guy will give you some major tips if you’re a beginner. Even if you are a beginner, it’s a fun way to fool around and spend time with your buddies.

Came to check this place out since we were looking for something to do in the area. It’s located in the 99 cent store plaza in the strip mall. The place is your typical asian hangout at night. Lotta gangster looking asian guys shooting pool with there homies or girlfriends. The people do seem pretty civil and friendly though. The rates are $ 10/hour on the weekdays or $ 12/hour on the weekends. The no name tables themselves are in pretty good condition with fairly well maintained cloth and balls/sticks. The house sticks are all in pretty decent condition too with good tips on most of the sticks with no warping. There’s also a good amount of new chalk laying around each table too. It doesn’t get too loud either since they play korean music in the background softly. Note on all the interesting signs on the walls too. Gambling is NOT allowed! Smoking is NOT allowed in the premises! But as a couple people have mentioned the lighting is pretty bright here. They also spray this cheap rose smelling air freshener every 15 minutes it seems. So if you have a sensitive nose definitely stay away from the end tables. The bathroom itself is abit on the dirty side and definitely probably not something the ladies would want to use if at all possible. But hey it’s mostly a guy hangout spot so what do you expect? But for a hour or two of cheap billards its an ok spot to chill at with some buddies.

So gross. I haven’t seen bathrooms this bad since I the last time I was in China. It smelled and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Yes, $ 10 is a decent price but I’d rather pay $ 14 for a nicer place. The lighting is uncomfortably bright; it isn’t exactly inviting. I admit, the tables themselves are decent but the placement is so poor. We picked the table closest to the door and it was only about 4 feet away from the next table. Hello, everyone knows you need more space than that between tables. I couldn’t even bend down to take several shots because there wasn’t enough space between the tables for my butt. Now let’s talk about the cue sticks. The tip of the first one we picked up was falling off, literally. Pros: I had a decent time and it cost us $ 10. Cons: All of the above and many many more. Unless you are really tight on cash and can’t spare another couple of dollars, I would stay away.
