Sat at the window for about 10 minutes. After no one came over intercom to take our order. we decided to just go inside. we sat there for another 5 minutes… was told they were out of ribs and out of original BBQ sauce. The Dr Pepper machine did not work correctly and our food was served to us on a red tray that everyone and their mother most likely ate off that same day. Ridiculous. Food was cold. Really an over all pathetic experience. We will not be back!

Owner refused to honor the $ 5 Groupon voucher I purchased specifically for his restaurant; he told me he couldn’t be sure I hadn’t already reedemed it and it was too much trouble for him to even try to verify. I wouldn’t spend a single dime in a place that obviously so poorly values its customers and would remind the owner there are far too many other BBQ joints in the area for him to be running off business… all this over five bucks. His choice, personally I won’t miss the location when it does close down.

Ordered food for family Memorial Day get together. probably will not use this location again. My order was completely wrong/short. Additional issue is they had no chicken, really? Regardless, Should have told us when ordering. Ordered 2 family packs. The sides are tiny. Like micro tiny and I was shorted 2 sides on a $ 120 order Won’t go here again, and I recommend you don’t either. However, the meat is very good and don’t want this review to be reflective of all Dickeys.

Looked ok when I walked in ordered four potatoes to go there was a black hair in 1. I was pissed threw it away. wont go back The one in the shopping center by target in Rowlett

This dickeys is severely understaffed. I go when I’m not in a hurry because the food is good and it’s on my way home, but at my most recent visit I was in the drive through for 20 minutes. I saw several customers come and go both inside and in the drive through because of how slow the service was. It wasn’t the employee’s fault, she was working very hard but she was running the whole place by herself. This is how it is every time I come here. I wish the management would see this review or listen to their employees for a change and properly staff their restaurant instead of being greedy and cutting costs by having one employee run the entire restaurant. On a side note, she didn’t charge me for one of my sandwiches for patiently waiting so long. Which is why I’m emphasizing that the customer service and work ethic is there, its just lack of staff and proper management. I hope they resolve this soon or they probably won’t be round much longer.
