This is not my first unsatisfactory experience with this particular McAlisters. In general I love the restaurant but this location has been unsatisfactory. Today I went to get my food during my lunch break and had to wait to pick up my order. This has been a continual frustration with this location. They make such a big deal with togo parking and a togo register that I expect to receive immediate service… my lunch break is only 30 minutes! I ordered the French dip sandwich which comes with aus jus sauce. Well the sauce was thrown in my bag(I watched them) and when I got back to work I had to clean up a whole mess of brown juice that was all over everything in the bag. Then when I ate my sandwich the meat and bread were burned and they forgot to put on the cheese!

Love the strawberry pecan salad with potato soup. I also get the grilled chicken Caesar wrap and the tea is great. I did try the berry lemonade. It’s pretty good but here lately lemonade in general is on the sweeter side in my opinion because I drink lots of water and my palette is getting use to less sugar! My family and I go a lot to this location. Very helpful staff. Always making rounds to see if anything is needed. My mother ordered a «to go» order for me and the family on another visit and they did leave out our rice Krispy treat we were charged for so we got it on the next visit since I’m out in Wylie.

I’ve never had anything I didn’t like! I am specifically writing this review in regards to the customer service that I have received at this location. If I were to give them a grade it would be A+++++! I went one night with my best friend, who had recently broken her ankle, and one of the employees came running up to hold the door as my friend used her scooter to enter. It was an example of someone going above and beyond to help. The staff at this location are always friendly and don’t mind if you ask questions about the menu. I personally like finding out what some of the employees favorite dishes are, as I’m still working my way through the menu :)! This is most assuredly one of my favorite places to eat!

I love the taste of the sandwiches! They are so good! I got the Italian with a side of veggies. I cannot wait to eat here again! The only downside is their prices are high, but it is worth it.

The food and service is good if you eat in the restaurant. I continue to be frustrated by incorrect to go orders and the lack of concern that it was incorrect when I call to inform them. Customer service for to go orders is a big«F» from me. I’ve learned my lesson after the third attempt.

We don’t come often but each time we have we’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was very well prepared and the staff was so friendly. The cookies were so good. But the sweet tea was the best.

Mcallister’s is your standard deli and offers, here’s a shocker, standard deli food. However, their standard deli food is, in my opinion, above average. The food is always fresh and tasty. It’s not the end all/be all of sandwich-type-yummies, but the food can constitute a really pleasant meal. The fact that I have not eaten the best sandwich of my life at Mcallister’s is the reason I couldn’t quite give this place five stars. That, and the fact that it can be a bit pricey for a simple lunch date. Overall, it’s a good place to grab a quick, somewhat healthy bite.

Last Week I Ordered a Orange Cranberry Club and a Fruit Cup as my side. When they brought it out, I noticed my fruits looking flat/stale, especially the grape. I turned my fruits over and there was mold on them. I usually go there but now i’m not sure if I want to go anymore.

McAlister’s Deli is one of my Favs. I call it my office away from the office. It has a great environment and AWESOME staff who are very friendly. The food is good, great proportions, and reasonably priced. Especially if you take the surveys they give out. Additionally, they have amazing tea, and great chocolate chip cookies. Love this place!!!

It has a nice outside area, too! This place is very good, and they have somewhat of waiter service in the sense that they bring you drink refills. The food is super fresh and they have.. . are you ready?.. . VEGGIECHILI! I can’t vouch for it yet, but please believe, next visit, I’m having some!

Good Sandwiches, Small Portions. I bought 4 sandwiches and my bill was $ 54. That’s $ 13.50 a sandwich! I feel like if I’m paying that much there should be real bacon on my sandwich. To be honest I would have rather went to Corner Bakery or Jason’s Deli(at least there proportions are normal sized) but there are none around here. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because my roommates love it, which is understandable since it’s the only sandwich shop I could find in Rowlett. I gave it 3 stars but I’m changing it to 2.

I just had my birthday lunch here with my cousin! First time going to a mcallister! I was told that their sweet tea is the best so I had that and it was pretty good! However, I dont think it was THAT great! I still like chicken express ice tea or chick fil a ice tea better! I had half a sandwich and a half of a salad, along with a cup of soup. I got the half of french dip sandwich and cesar salad, both were delicious! and the country potato soup was just okay… not the best! I would definitely come back to try other sandwiches!

My husband raved about this place so I thought I would give it a try. I went with my dad and we ordered take out. I got the basil Parmesan chicken panini with a side of mac and cheese, my dad got the Havarti sweet chipotle chicken panini with a side of potato salad, and hubby got the spud olé’. Mine was pretty good. It has a ton of basil, which I love. The chicken was tender, the bread was toasted and it had some sauteed red peppers for more flavor. Mac and cheese was creamy. My dad and I switched halves of our sandwiches and I tried his chipotle chicken sandwich. I am not much of a sweet sandwich fan, but I liked this one too. I didn’t try my husband’s but it was a HUGE potato and covered in chili and cheese. Totally up my alley. He kept saying over and over again that the sweet tea was«so good.» I didn’t use it this time, but I saw they had a $ 1.99 kid’s menu that I am sure the kiddo will love. Can’t wait to try it again.

I suppose I should start off by saying I’m a bit biased since I have always like McAlister’s, though I am much more familiar with a location in my hometown. Heck I used to sneak out of high school to go eat lunch here! If you’re the kind of person that likes a good sandwich, soup, or potato for pretty cheap and pretty fast, then I don’t know of any place better. I ordered a meal over the phone. I got a bacon spud(my personal favorite at the place) and also ordered a chicken salad sandwich for someone else. When I got to the restaurant the food was ready. I hate calling in and arriving and the food’s not ready. What’s the point of calling in then? Didn’t have that problem here. I devoured that bacon spud. It smelled so good that after I put it in the trash my dog dug it out when I wasn’t in the room and ate the skin. He is 8 years old and that’s the first time I’ve ever seen him dig in the trash can for something. The people seemed really nice, though I only talked to one person specifically. The prices are great considering the quality of the food. I’ve also heard the tea is to die for, but I’m not a tea drinker. Overall, I guess it’s one of those places you either love or hate, sort of like Quizno’s.
