Sonic Drive In

This is my LAST TIME coming here
I ordered «ICE WATER w/​lime» and it came 23 minutes later… and even worse they were not busy at all!!!
This is the second and last time that I have received horrible Svc from this place… The first time I had bad Svc, I asked for extra lime and they wanted to charge me 60 cents for 2 small sizes of lime (pic shown)
REALLY!!!

Good food and service but did take a bit to get my order, other then that place was fine.

Early breakfast… checked

Went here a few weeks ago for a drink thru the drive thru. Pulled up and no response, waited several minutes and cars were pulling up behind me, giving up and pulling out. I finally pulled into a spot and hit the button to order, it flashed several times and then stops. I hit it three times with no one answering. I see someone go through the drive thru and decided to try that again. Finally an answer and i order my drink. An aggravating 15 – 20 minutes for a drink. I try it again about a week later and again no answer in the drive thru. I pull into a spot and try to order, same thing happens. Crazy. I ask to talk to a manager when a car hop goes by. A guy comes out says he is the Asst. Manager but he’s not in charge. He says the employees are new and most can’t use the headsets. I’m not sure what they do there, the guy was unapologetic and didn’t seem to care about the issue. I live very close to this location, but will NEVER go back. I drove to a Rockwall location at RidgeRd/​205 and service was lightning fast and good shake. So disappointed that someone doesn’t take control of the problem.

This is the only Sonic in Rowlett (and there are 3) that can make a GOOD Cherry limeade. It’s perfect everytime! The staff are friendly and they never mess up my order!
