The Track Grill and Bar

This is a ghost town here. A Saturday night at midnight and three people in here. No music. No band. No karaōke. No food. If you are bummed out and want to stay bummed out come here. I will never give this joint a second thought again. Oh yea… the police hang around this joint all the time.

It’s a very nice place to hang, got my second date finishing there and the staff member are pretty smart, I will say you won’t find a sporty bar like that 10 miles around !!! Lots of flat screen, sporty & recreational, very inviting. Only think need to have more beer variety. Hope that business stay here that’s the only thing we have funny around.

Local bar with bar fare. They have karaōke on Friday nights. They have a couple of video games to play. But no other bar games.

Went for lunch after much habaloo on Facebook. Had Cuban and chicken tacos that weren’t good. I’ll give it another shot since the neighbors are loving it so much but will try the chicken fried chicken or steak next time.

We went here for the very first time since we moved here over 13 years ago. Cold beer, clean place including the women’s bathroom and good music. Had some wings that were tasty but the menu has a lot to offer. Bartender and GM recommended the burgers and catfish too. Will have to go back. Non smoking a huge plus.

I watched the mavs DESTROY the la la lakers here last Sunday! I just ate a chicken sandwich and had a few drinks…? Some how my tab was $ 66? WTF ?? This place is a lil pricy maybe…?

I have enjoyed this place a few times and the service is good and the sliders are great bar food for when you need a little added food in your belly while drinking. Good place to meet locals and don’t be afraid to say HI they don’t bite too hard. I must say it certainly would be an added bonus if they had a pool table or two.

So glad to find a decent bar/​grill by my house. I have been three times now and had a great server every time. Justin was hilarious and i cant remember the other two girls names but they were really great. The food was good. we had sliders, chicken bites and fried pickles. (the pickles were a little salty but still good) No real drink specials on the night I was there but they do have weekday ones posted up. They had karaōke when I was there and the guy running it was really nice offering to move speakers so we could hear each other. I will def be back!

I am giving the place a 5 because I am from the old school of bars a bar should look like a bar a bar should sound like a bar and most important it should smell like a bar old beer and smoke LOL for real this place is great the big screens are fantastic you can see one from anywhere in the pace I have been three or four time now I wanted to test out the consistency of service and food before posting on it and well it was a 5 every time I walk in the door someone behind the bar looks up and yells hey Eric wuz up! It’s like they remember you and are truly glad to see you.
So far I have been at night to watch the UFC fights and during the day for lunch and holy crap do they have lunch if your idea lunch is a great burger or a set of Chili cheese dogs and some of the best O-​rings you ever had. and as bonus this Sunday I took both my kids with me for lunch it was about 12:30 when we got there the owner saw us walk so he in came over and was talking to my kids (not in a creepy hey kid you want some candy kind of way LOL but in a good way) then he pulled out the ginormus tool box opened it up and said have fun! Inside was a PS3 and a Nintendo Wii with lots of games I thought now that’s a guy who has kids of his own very cool!
My kids said they give it a 5 as well and want to eat there next Sunday as well. so I suggest to you the Unilocalers in the Rowlett area if you haven’t stopped in yet you should it’s a great place and lots of fun. Oh and ZI almost forgot they have free WIFI as well

The newest place in the mostly boring city I now reside in. Went in on a Friday night to eat dinner and have some cold wheat, hops, and barley soup in a bottle. This place used to be an Italian restaurant but you could never tell now. Big HDTV’s, good grub for bar food, excellent service. It’s always pretty crowded and hard to find a spot to sit but I guess that’s a good thing. They do close pretty early, 11:00 I believe, but the Ramblin Rose can keep me entertained the rest of the night. It is smoky but not too bad. They need to keep the glass door next to the bar closed though, it gets kinda drafty by that door when it opens. Not a huge deal though, there’s plenty of things at the bar to keep me warm.
I did find the unisex restroom situation kinda odd, but not a big deal. Dudes, please outta respect for the gals, raise the lid and aim straight into the bowl. If you’ve had too much to drink, aim for the bowl in the middle.
Overall, it’s a pretty cool place given the lack of options in Rowlett. I kinda like the dive type places anyhow. I’ll keep going back.

The Track is a cool little sports bar located in, you guessed it, a strip mall in Rowlett! Went in there last night to enjoy some drinks. It is fairly large inside with a lot of tables for your seating pleasure. They also have a bar for your drinking pleasure. There are a lot of TVs everywhere, but I kind of expected it to be more NASCAR themed than it actually was. They had a «band» playing up front… actually two older men playing guitar and singing… they were pretty good but it was hard to talk while they were playing. There is a big jukebox for tunes when the band isn’t playing. There’s not a dance floor but don’t think that stopped the dude in the Longhorns shirt that was dancing in front of the jukebox. There are two bathrooms in the back, unisex, so watch that toilet seat. Especially if a guy and a girl come out of there together and tell you «sorry» as they are walking out (yes, that totally happened!). Last night there was even a visit by a bride and groom with their entire wedding party — I think the groom is a bartender there. The crowd was all over the place as far as age and dress but it was super laid back. I’d say this was an average bar at this point but our waiter (TJ) really went out of his way to make sure we were having fun. He chatted with us, he kept our drinks full, and basically just made the entire night go great! You go TJ!
