Ignorant manager complaining in front of a lengthy line about how many customers were in the restaurant ONEHOUR before closing. Every customer who’s order was greeted was met with a huge upset sigh. What do they expect working in a popular city like Royal Oak? Worst customer service I’ve had through a restaurant. Very unlike Qdoba to have such irate staff. I’m definitely avoiding this location next time I’m rolling through.

All I can say is TERRIBLE service the guy behind the counter had his headphones in and was rapping and walked away in the middle of taking our order and disappeared for a while and came back never looked up and smiled just over all bad customer service

I personally prefer Chipotle’s rice bowls over Qdoba’s, but I was looking for a quick bite in Royal Oak downtown so I gave Qdoba’s a try. Food was decent, prices were obviously under $ 10, location was great(right in central downtown Royal Oak), guacamole is free, and lots of seats along the window for people watching. What was also a bonus is that it opens till 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights so that’s perfect for those weekend party-goers.

i’ve grown to strongly dislike qdoba in the past few months. i used to love it, but now i have realized that it is just a bunch of cold toppings piled into a bowl, burrito, or in nacho form. the only thing that you will get hot here is the mexican gumbo or the quesadillas. anyhow, i visited this location on a very busy, after bar hours friday night. yep, that’s right, get the image in your head of plenty of drunk patrons swarming in every second and struggling to order and pay for their food. i had came from mr. b’s after a few drinks and i was pretty sober, so the environment was annoying but doable since i was hungry. i ordered the craft 2 with nachos and tacos, my boyfriend ordered a chicken burrito. first of all, my boyfriend asked the worker for extra salsa and she puts it on the burrito and proceeds to ask, «HOWAM I SUPPOSEDTOWRAPTHIS?», because there was a lot of salsa. i don’t fucking know, do they not teach burrito wrapping 101 when you’re hired? seriously, it’s not that damn hard to wrap the burrito. maybe if you had added more chicken and rice instead of giving one baby scoop of everything then everything wouldn’t have to be drowned in salsa. strike one. i add my toppings to my entrée, anddddd proceed to the cash wrap where the SAME girl goes«oh shit brad, i forgot we were out of chips» i guess she thought she was whispering, but i could hear her clearly. so she finally comes to tell me we are out of chips, i could give you the little amount we have left? or you could get it as a burrito or a bowl… hold the phone. so you made my nachos, toppings and everything, and THEN you remember you don’t have any chips?! what is a nacho without chips? it’s NOTchos! seriously, this pissed me off because i was considering going to Taco Bell in the first place. then the guy brad comes to ask me if i wanted him to crunch up some taco shells. what? no. and i was offered no kind of discount or anything for the inconvenience! so i tell them i would take a quesadilla instead and the girl tells me, «this would have been really good as a bowl». if i wanted a «bowl» i would have ordered it don’t ya think? definitely never coming back here. could’ve made tacos a lot quicker and cheaper at home. i know the workers probably get annoyed with all the drunkies on weekends but hey, don’t take that out on the rest of the customers, i’m sure you knew what it would be like before you started working there.

Customer service is terrible at this location. Terrible, terrible workers. On one occasion I had wanted to only buy queso and beef for nachos for my friend. The worker only put one tiny scoop of queso in and that’s it. I asked her to put more in and she exclaimed«no». I could understand if maybe I had gotten a lot more ingredients in the bowl to only put in a little amount of queso. But that was not the case, only beef and cheese! It’s crazy to me that one scoop of queso and one scoop of ground beef is worth $ 8. I did not appreciate it whatsoever and the manner in which she spoke to me was not appropriate. I’ve had a couple of more encounters with the workers not providing enough food on the plate and being extremely rude to me. This location should seriously think about re-hiring.

I have ordered Qdoba numerous times as it is close to my work. I have never been satisfied. Something is always wrong or missing from my order and they are not very kind or worried about fixing anything for you.

Horrible customer service. They run out of protein options frequently and the chicken is old and dry.

For what it is, a «Mexican food» chain. It was pretty good. The staff was very friendly. I had a chicken quesadilla, it was actually surprisingly delicious. I will say, I got guacamole on the side, it was brown and didn’t have much flavor, it could have been a little fresher.

Fresh ingredients and friendly staff, clean establishment. This location is by far the best. I love the choose 2 option(naked burrito and gumbo). They keep the bathrooms locked to discourage non paying clients.

This is your standard ‘Dobs…the food has always been pretty A-OK for me. The service is sometimes a bit slow, and I wish they’d be more consistent in what they charge me. Half the time they charge for queso on my veggie naked burrito, and half the time they don’t. Sometimes they charge me extra for guac, sometimes they don’t. I don’t mind either way, I just wish it was consistent. The workers aren’t always the friendliest — it’s usually teens or young twenty-somethings working and they typically have an attitude, but I don’t really care. This is totally middle-of-the-road so if you’re hungry, try it out!

I’ve long been a fan of Qdoba and generally anything wrapped in a burrito or covered in queso. Last night, I happily visited Qdoba after a night of drinking and was a bit disappointed. Now that I’m eating healthier, I’m trying not to eat heavily late at night. My usual plan of destroying a nearly 1-lb burrito was not in the cards. Unfortunately, there is little-to-nothing on the menu that is a reasonable portion. I settled for a quesadilla which is sort of a ripoff since it is the same price and about a third of the amount of food as a burrito. There is also soup/gumbo combos but who eats soup at 1 a. m?(Besides Andrew Bogut). Making matters worse, Qdoba made a half-assed attempt to make their menu healthy with whole wheat tortillas. It doesn’t matter, corporate menu creator guy — we’re only saving 10 calories. And if I cared that much I wouldn’t be here. P. S. Qdoba gets a bonus start for having green tabasco. All salsas and hot sauces are better when green.

I know they’re a chain but they are so good! Rice cooked perfectly, queso cheese with just the right amount of spiciness. Their chips are thin, fresh & crisp. I really like their guacamole – it’s seemingly quite simple: avocado, cilantro and maybe very small amts of tomato and onion. Guac. should be mostly avocado and Qdoba gets that right! Veggies are grilled tender-crisp not soggy or raw. Naked or tortilla burritos with or without grilled chicken are great choices! The 2 portions are a perfect way to try different menu items! If you opt for a singular entrée, be prepared because the servings are huge! The only reason I can’t go 5 star is because I’m torn between who is the best Qdoba or Chipotle!

My favorite Mexican burrito joint! Being originally from the Detroit area I used to live in Ferndale so exploring all of the restaurants in and around the area was something I loved to do with friends. One of our favorite places for a quick, healthy meal was Qdoba on Main Street. I almost always go for a chicken burrito or a burrito bowl. Everything is always fresh, the staff is kind and the restaurant is always clean. Since moving out to L.A. seven years ago the closest we have here is Chipotle which is good but just a little below my Qdoba experience. Qdoba has many more options when it comes to sauces, combinations and most importantly salsas! …now I want to visit home!

Always the place we go when we really don’t want to spend restaurant money but want a good filling meal and we don’t need to dress up! Oh yea they are open pretty late too. So after you come from a few of the bars around downtown RO its a great place for a late nite snack/meal! Reasonably priced~good food and made fast… what else to ask for?

At 2am after a night of drinking this is the best entrainment your going to get. I have been here a handful of times wasted and every time its like going to a UFC fight, someone is always throwing bows and getting in fights. Come on guys who doesnt want to see a brawl break while waiting in line to get a delicious burrito? Usually i don’t rate places like qdoba on Unilocal unless they’re terrible but hey when a restaurant line turns into a fight club after 2am i cant help but review it. Plus this place is open til like 4am on the weekends and their staff is pretty friendly to me(probably because i am not getting in fights). Key phrases: Amateur fighting, open til 4am, caters to drunks

I went into Qdoba shortly after they opened and ordered a burrito. I took a bite, and… what is this glop? There was nothing even remotely Mexican about the flavoring, or the ingredients. No fresh vegetables, no chiles. Just canned glop. I threw the rest of it out and went in search of real food.

Nothing taste better than a drunken burrito… nothing… Especially after consuming copious amounts of liquor and beer… and video taping your gal pal stumbling into the men’s bathroom… yay for the staff being still kind and courteous to all the drunks… props to being open until 3am… I feel dirty now…
