Went here after DQ bingo… friend that called here earlier in the day wasn’t told that there would be $ 5 cover — just to go in and eat. when we argued about that, they said ‘ok your group of 12 can just pay $ 25 total… when half the group said we’ll just leave… then we got in free.
Ordered dinner, roasted turkey flatbread pizza and the all meat pizza came out instead. I was told ‘we have to remake it since they read the order wrong’- asked to have it taken off bill– waitress said the mgr would have to decide. No apology…‘manager ’ came over but pretty sure it was the bouncer. Still no apology
Hair found in another friend ‘s salad… steak tips on another order were well done to leather instead of medium…
We did get the flatbread and hairy salad taken off bill

Came here for my 21^st birthday while bar hopping. Worst mistake. 2 random guys started a problem with me and my sister. Our guy friends got involved and security came and pushed my girl cousin down to the floor. TWICE! Tore my guy friends shirt, ripped it off of his body and put him in a choke hold hard enough where he could not take a breath. Keep in mind my guy friend did nothing, just wanted to see what was going on. Another bouncer called my cousin a «fucking fat bitch.» Disgusted by this place.

Came here after the piano bar downstairs and it was horrible. We left about 10 minutes after walking up the stairs. Between the horrible music, the kids that looked 18 and the sticky floor, I will not be back again.

Anybody gone for elevator ride with steroid head lately ?? For baseball caps! Place is so lame!!!

Brought 5 people here because 2 of them were from out of town and wanted to show them a great time. We went to dance and I was the DD. The bus boy went around and literally snatched the drinks out of our hands and his tray fell back on us and glass bottles and cups fell back all over us. When my friend told him he wasn’t done he grabbed his cup and said «oh well you damn white boy». I grabbed all the stiff he dropped on us and went to him and threw them in his bus tray and told him he dropped all that on us. He responded by saying, «you crazy ass bitch get the fuck up outta here you’re kicked out.» When management came and threw us out they didn’t even hear us out. We left without an argument because we couldn’t even hear each other. We didn’t want to fight to stay in such a trash place anyways. I couldn’t believe the audacity of the bus boy and how we were treated. I’m so ashamed I chose here to take everyone. So racist against us.

Two stars overall… No surprise here. This place sucks. The bartenders are sarcastic the doormen are rude. The drinks are weak.

Nowhere to sit for 6 ladies who want to sit & eat dinner. we specifically asked at the door if they still had food service available & they said yes, there’s plenty of room upstairs. we each paid $ 5 cover charge. We go in get upstairs and then they say the tables are not available because they take them down for dancing. They were mean & rude & wouldn’t give us our cover charge back. So they made 30 bucks for doing absolutely nothing what a bunch of Bull! Leaves a bad taste… WILL NOT GO THERE again

Just came here Saturday night, after a 3 year hiatus. It is just as gross as I remember it. Sticky floors, stupidly drunk college kids, sucky music and overcrowded place. $ 5 parking and $ 5 cover. I should have saved my money for anything but. This place is a fail. Don’t do it.

DO NOT Give this place your business! The absolute worst experience in Royal Oak! Arrived around 9pm to have dinner with five other people. We were charged $ 5 each at the door even though we were there to have dinner and stated this upon entrance. We asked if they had available room for us to all sit together and they told us «yes» upstairs. When we arrived upstairs we were first directed to tables but told that we couldn’t sit at them because another group wanted the tables. We were than offered a very small round top that wouldn’t have even fit everyone’s drinks let alone dinner! Than they tried to have us sit against a wall all single file in the entrance facing another wall tucked in the corner! When we wanted to leave because they really couldn’t accommodate our group they were happy to escort us out and remind us about their «No Refund» upon entrance policy! THEY RIP PEOPLE OFF BEWARE before entering especially if your want to dine with a group!

The only reason we came here was to «pre-​party» before a concert. All of the other establishments were crowded and this one wasn’t. So here we are.
We were seated by the door so we were lucky enough to catch the draft every time the door opened. Needless to say, I kept my coat on for the entire stay.
Soft Parade and Final Absolution on tap. yes please! Me and a friend chose to split the nacho appetizer. It was plenty for the both of us and it was topped with Muenster cheese! Crazy but quite tasty. I didn’t like the beans that came on it tho, I wasn’t a fan.
The waitress was quite friendly and attentive, she did make our stay a bit more pleasurable until all of the bachelor/​bachelorette parties started rolling in. I’d say there were at least 4 going on. Limo buses parked out front, the place was starting to get loud, crowded, and douchey. Oh, and a random Channel 4 newscaster popped in there as well.
Would I come back? Probably not. Not my scene.

Worst food in Royal Oak is being nice, it doesn’t get much worse across the board than this place. No wonder why when they sent us upstairs there was not a sole around, no bartender, no one to seat us. I had to walk into the dark kitchen to find a human being that wasn’t even sure if they were open! Total disappointment, from the minute we walked in (Party of 8 people) they treated us like we were a problem before they even got us menus (at least 10 minutes after we arrived). Generic food and generic drinks. Place needs to change or quit all together. Soo much better in Royal Oak than this sub-​par Mexican place. Save your $ and go elsewhere.

Worst food in royal oak. Seriously, the pizza was even horrible. How hard is it to make a decent pizza? And yet, this place failed. Not only that, it’s $ 1.50 per topping. And there’s not any included. The chips and guac was even horrible. Was bland and tasteless. Never going here again, hope no one else does either. Good riddance. What a joke.

I did not enjoy the atmosphere of this establishment, but everything else was satisfactory.

If you’re going upstairs to tequila blue. Go to nick. You are welcome! He is truly the greatest bartender ever!!!

The best thing about this place is the happy hour on Sundays. Drinks and food are half off. They have locals that come here every Sunday and it always good to chop it up. They also have angry orchard which is my new favorite hard cider. This is a spot I wouldn’t normally go to. But if you’re trying to watch the game with friends and want entertaining company at the bar… Then this could be the place for you! Definitely a joy

My friends recently took me here for dinner and drinks for my bachelorette party. We arrived and the hostess took us to our table. There were 10 of us and she sat us at cocktail tables. We called over the manager who said this was the only table. We look around and see tables with no one at them and explain that we made dinner reservations and were eating and leaving. Her response was the table that was there being held was about to be sat. We politely ask her to pull together the open tables for us after she argued with my friend for 10 min. Our server was nice but very slow. Took 20 min just to get a drink order and asked for chips and salsa several times. Food took forever to come out and was not that great. Cold and undercooked. Manager never came back to the table to check on us until we asked our server for her name and the owners business card. She then approached the table and said was everything ok? Well clearly not so much. (Dinner was over and those tables never got sat)
My friend asked her for her name and her response was she did not have a business card. We didn’t ask for that we asked her name which she clearly did not want us to know.

Thank you for your input into 526 Main. I was informed of your parties situation the evening that it occurred, and I believe that it was handled as well as it possibly could have. We do not tolerate rudeness to our employees on any level, especially those that go out of their way to help out the customer.
Unbelievable! We were all restaurant managers and I know if any one of us acted like that we would be fired. Needless to say we will NEVER go back.

Walking around Royal Oak and this place caught our eye. FIRST it has a very nice atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. We can watch the Tigers and drink $ 3 drafts. We tried Perrin raspberry blonde ale. DELICIOUS! Just like a Lambic but not 9 dollars. Our order of Iguana eggs where very good. Pepperjack cheese in the middle of chicken that is deep fried and soaked in Franks Red Hot. Yummy

This used to be my go to place to dance in RO, but it’s really been hit or miss latey, I feel that the bouncers have lost control of the place. I actually witinessed a couple bouncers confront someone for moving the barrers keeping a lane free by the bar, the bouncers backed down and walked away. I would have rated this place 5 stars last summer or before but the last couple times I’ve been I ended up leaving and going elsewhere.
Music sucks latley and the place isn’t as busy. so for now I’ll give it 3 stars but if they don’t get their act together soon it’ll be dropped to 2.

I was standing in line in a cold night when 4 men jumped in front of my group in line. I asked them nicely to move to the back and they said no, so I went to the bouncer and told him. Nothing was done, I was left standing in the cold because the bouncer let the 4 men cut in front of me in line. I am pissed. I usually have a good time here, but it’s not okay to ignore your loyal customers for some assholes just to make money off their cover.

This place is for trendy people who think they are important. The setup of the place sucks due its small space; the bar is in an awkward spot pegged against one wall on the side. It’s like a sardine tin with nerdy looking bouncers who don’t intimidate anyone. And the bathroom is in the corner, so good luck finding your way through a massive sea of sweaty people.
The music is subpar for a club, and I have found the majority of females to be either with their girlfriends while the remaining girls look for a one-​night thing. I know this because of my friends who frequent the place. Oh, and the prices are INSANE. $ 9 for a double whiskey coke that you watered down? I bring a flask in that joint for a reason.
Stay downstairs next to the pianos, or get the hell out of there altogether.
