Sort of a blah clone of Chipotle. The black beans taste as though they are not fully cooked. One of the last places I think to go for Mexican in providence.

I always come here whenever I am craving Mexican food. I usually get a bowl with hamburger, peppers, jalapenos, white rice, cheese, sour cream, and I try different salsas each time I go there. The food is very fresh and they give generous portions. The only thing that bothers me is that when I get a bowl there is usually a decent amount of oil/grease at the bottom of the bowl. Other then that, the place is great. I recommend coming here for some great Mexican food

Grabbed a late lunch here on a Thursday night. The place was clean. The staff was pleasant and the bowls that my boyfriend and I got were huge. Mostly everything was fresh(only thing I saw that did it look fresh was some off brown bean paste) Overall we will be back.

I liked this place up until the customer service took a serious nose dive. Yeah, go here if you want good food, but be prepared for attitude, b****ness and down right rude behavior. Never again will I step foot in here until management does something about the customer service.

I’m a big fan of this place good variety of burrito and other Mexican dishes can even get a margarita or two discover this place with the group on offer now we go about twice a month even have a day where kids eat free. It’s very similar to chipotle which I also discovered pretty recently lol

This was my first time here. This place is a LOT like chipotle but with more options. Overall, the food isn’t all that great. I prefer Chipotle more. The food was«flavorless» almost and the meat my girlfriend and I got was cold. The service was aright but wasn’t at all«welcoming & friendly». Would I return? Possibly but not willingly.

I give it a 5 for what it is: a quick place to grab a burrito, or something similar. I’ve come here more times than I can count for lunch since I work right down the street. The burritos and the bowls are tasty and well portioned. Good selection of meat and veggies. They also have a small bar if you’re into that. I’d recommend it.

Feels like a Chipotle /bar mashup. There are TVs(unlike a Chipotle) and a bar setting with some loud patrons(unlike a Chipotle). In the end, we liked the food and the prices were reasonable. Only food complaint — we had the«medium» salsa and it did have a bit of a weird taste to it. We didn’t like it and ate our chips plain, which was fine. Friendly service — my kids mentioned that it looked like one of their staff members had just been in a fist fight as he had a black eye and some bruises. I didn’t even notice.

We have been driving by here for over a year and tonight we decided to stop in. The first thing we saw was a Pawtucket Police officer eating, so we figured it had to be good. We were definetely glad we stopped and we ending up eating at the bar. I will give the food a thumbs up but not the best mexican food we have have had. I will say that the margaritas were very good and we will go again. Got to add the atmosphere was cozy and there was plenty of room at the bar.

You get what you pay for… $ 10.00 will fill you up and more! Good food… Bring at least $ 10.00 but worth it for fun food!

Can’t get enough of this place. My burrito is always well-prepared, the ingredients are always perfect, and the service is always great. This place is great for takeout, especially if you’re in a hurry, because you never wait very long. Once a week, whether I need it or not!

When we came last night, it wasn’t busy but there were lots of tables and chairs that needed some cleaning. I guess a group of kids just left. And maybe they were short-staffed or something. I ordered a Burrito Belly(everything in burrito without the wrap). It looked almost like a salad! It was actually very good though! I had Yacht Club Soda with it. Even better! I’d come back here again because the food was fresh especially the veggies. And they’re also locally sourced. I prefer Chipotle but if I can’t get to one, I’ll go to this one.

This is the best Cilantros! I have tried all of them in the state and this one wins by far. Cleanliness, staff, environment are all way better than the rest. Ive been a Cilantro fan for years and well before I tried Chipolte. After trying Chipotle again last night, I can honestly say Cilantros blows them out of the water. Much fresher, locally sourced vegtables. Better tasting and better proportioned seasoning on the meat. More toppings/fillings and wayyyy less grease.

Lame compared to Chipotle. I stopped here based on the reviews saying«better than chipotle» and I completely disagree. Nothing about the experience was great. Parking sucked. Line was long. I got spicy chicken– not spicy and lots of liquid. «Sautéed Peppers and onions» were RAW, and chopped huge. Nothing like a giant hunk of raw onion to ruin a meal. Salsa was nothing special. And this is nitpicking but just adds to the bad experience– the forks were so wimpy I could barely eat. I like to support local businesses instead of chains, but, I will not be back to Cilantro.

Descent quick«Mexican» on the go. Good meat choices, the burritos are huge, almost too big. I can def count a few times that some inexperienced burrito rollers put waaay too much fillings that they could barely even roll it up. This makes it so messy and falls apart because it’s not tightly rolled up. The extra $$ to have guac on it is kinda lame, as well as the cheese being the last item of toppings so you always just get a little sprinkle since by that point there is not enough room left. Oh, and they only ever put a tiny amount of sour cream. All in all, i still go from time to time since it’s close by and I can get a Mexican fix without it being Taco Bell crap.

I would eat at Cilantro every day if I could! Reasonably priced high quality simple Mexican fare. Burritos, nachos, quesadillas, tacos, etc. I’m a fan of the«burrito belly»(the guts of a burrito with no wrap) but everything I’ve ordered had been great. Lots of meat choices which is mice too! They have repeat customer cards where you buy 10 and get 1 free! I’ve also visited some other locations but the Rumford store is close to home so I visit there most often.

Great fast food alternative… Went tonight and got the hard tacos — went with 2 ground beef and 2 adobo steak — delicious & filling! I also got some chips and salsa which were great. I got both types of salsa(mild & spicy) and have to say I’m glad I finally tried the spicy. It’s got some kick and my tongue was burning but I liked it! The place is starting to look dated(faded out countertop at register, peeling stickers where they changed prices and it didn’t stay up) but it was clean, so, I really can’t complain. The guy who made my order was very nice and did a great job of piling on my choices while answering any questions I had. As long as they keep the delicious food and good service going… I will keep coming back!

Out of all the Cilantros in this area, I like this one the best. It’s usually not too busy but due to a groupon deal they have going on its been packed the last 2 times I went. I usually get 4 flavor packed spicy chicken tacos with so many delicious toppings. Always super fresh, like so fresh I’ve had to wait for chicken or steak to be re-upped! So it was legit right off the grill. Today I added a house margarita cuz I was feeling feisty! That margarita was delicious & huge, and not light on the alcohol! That large drink combined with my 4 delicious tacos with endless adds. Ran me a whopping 13 dollars! I’m about that life! I will keep coming back, for that freshness & the generous portions easy in my wallet!

Finally! I had just about given up on my quest for a decent burrito in New England but the Rumford Cilantro has given me hope after all. Not all Cilantro’s are created equal apparently, but for that I am joyous! This location is clean, clean, clean and the staff are efficient and proficient at wrapping a perfect burrito. And it was a well wrapped burrito with piping hot ingredients that hadn’t been contaminated or homogenized in the warming tray. And the guacamole! Was that mango mixed in? Whatever it was, the sweet and spicy mix was totally working for me on my last visit here.

I’ll readily admit that when I need a quick taco fix I usually head to Taco Bell(there’s just so much to choose from!), but when I want to upscale my Mexican experience I head to Cilantro. Cilantro has a smallish menu(tacos, burritos, quesadillas) but they have a lot of nice add-ins to choose from and I’ve never had a bad experience. From a variety of tortillas(regular, wheat, etc.) to different kinds of rice and beans, to a number of tasty proteins(the pulled pork is quite good), you just tell the employee what you want and they’re not shy about loading up your taco/quesadilla/etc. I get a quesadilla 95% of the time, each time I’m amazed at just how much food I get for the money, I tell myself that I will eat half now and save half for lunch the next day, and… and…I always just eat everything in one sitting. Do yourself a favor and check out Cilantro, it’s good!
