Popeyes

Before some time now, this was my favorite food but lately every time I go to Popeyes the chicken is undercooked, and every time I am trying to eat at Popeyes my stomach kills me, there is something wrong with the timers in those places, selling almost raw meat, it’s a disgrace. From now on I will really try to avoid going to this place, no more for me:(

I got the $ 5 big box I chose fries and mashed potatoes as my two side orders, now let me begin to tell you that the chicken wasn’t even that good. The mashed potatoes were very watery and didn’t have the right consistency that I was looking for, & the biscuit was dry and disgusting. I only got one little scoop of fries and the soda was flat ! I’m Never coming to this Popeyes ever again! At the mall its way tastier and they give you a lot fries they ain’t greedy with their shit.

They just gave me the wrong order. I just grossly overpaid for chicken strips instead of 3 piece. Check your orders first before you leave.

4 stars for a fast food joint. They are undergoing a renovation but still keep the place clean. The drive thru is convenient. And Popeyes is deliciously bad for you!

Shawn (I think he was the manager) was awesome and totally accommodated our order. Since we had to wait for spicy chicken he gave us free bottles of water. Totally unnecessary but very kind and much appreciated. Thank you so much Shawn!

So this is just your run of the mill Popeyes. It’s fast food so don’t expect anything extraordinary. I usually opt for the spicy chicken tenders with mashed potatoes. In the past, this Popeye’s as well as others have got my order wrong but it usually would end up in me getting an extra side of fries along with my mashed potatoes. This totally works out to my benefit so I feel so lucky!
As for the seafood, I don’t think I would touch that with a 30 foot poll. Even though it’s deep fried, the idea of getting fish at any fast food place is unsettling.

I’ve had Popeyes from other locations, and don’t get me wrong, I like it. But I came here many years ago as a kid and there was a worm in my chicken. Needless to say, never went back, Hopefully the place has cleaned up a bit…

Delicious fried Chicken!!! Yummy in my tummy. affordable fast food convenience, too bad they don’t deliver. They just recently renovated the dinning room which looks very nice now and inviting. There’s a TV mounted on the wall for people who enjoy dinning in and enjoying their food pipping hot like myself. Food is always delicious, crispy and yes sooo bad for you, but you gotta do it once in while.
Besides fried chicken, they also serve, fried shrimp, fish, sandwiches, blackened tenders (healthier option since there not deep fried), side dishes such as macaroni and cheese, cajun rice, coleslaw, cajun fries, mashed potatoes (with or without gravy, corn on the cob, and green beans.
*Heads up the gravy for the mashed potatoes has PORK inside and so does the green beans, they don’t advertise that!

I have to give credit to this Popeyes– it is always spotlessly clean. Not a bad place for a fixin’ of chickin if you’re on RT 17.

Popeye’s is probably my favorite fast food fried chicken. Its very crispy, crunchy, and has just right amount of spice.
I mostly order the same thing every time I go. Two chicken breast (spicy), fries, a biscuit and a corn on the cob.
The only thing I don’t like about Popeye’s is the price. Its pretty expensive for fast food. The lady who took my order did some finagling with a combo, to try and help me save money, but the above order still came out to be over $ 9, which is quite expensive for fast food.
They run specials every once in a while, like up sizing your combo and things like that, which used to get me my order to be around $ 7 or so, but I haven’t seen any of these recently.

Excellent customer service! The young lady who worked the register truly went above and beyond! She even gave me a sample of the wicked chicken since I’ve never tried it before. She was extremely polite, courteous and accommodating… I must say it was a real treat to be treated so kindly in a fast food place. She took pride in her work and I admire that. Really impressed!

The people who work at Popeyes are amazing workers! The one guy had to walk away from the computer and he was working the window and he must have everything memorized! And he got te order right. They are super knowledgeable which sounds crazy when writing a review for a fast food joint but it’s super helpful when they know what u just ordered could save u money if u did it this way… And they are helpful and pay attention to who’s been waiting. We had to place a second order because we forgot something and they made sure we were taking care of. Plus the foods fresh and good!

Ah yes it’s a Popeye’s. Fried chicken is surprisingly good, and I wouldn’t call myself a fried chicken lover by any means. They have a lot of combinations you can try — comes with 1 regular side (regular is awfully small though), 1 drink, and 1 biscuit.
I actually think the fried chicken skin is pretty decent here — it’s oily but I think that’s what gives it the flavor.
Obviously, have a car to get to this location. It’s off of one of those weird NJ pseudo-​highways so I don’t really see people walking here.
