Peachwave Yogurt

A colorful place with a lot of potential. The yogurt is not good what so ever. I used to go to the New Canaan one, the yogurt was great! I heard the NY stores switched over to a powdered yogurt (?) which does not taste as great as the other yogurt stores. I am highly disappointed in the taste of the yogurt itself. They need better toppings, no one really wants candy on there yogurt, maybe get more decadent toppings to appeal to a more affluent crowd, I mean it is nice to bring your kids in and let them splurge; but as an adult, I would prefer nicer toppings and more appealing.
The staff members are sweet, but they tend to ignore you the whole time you are in the store, it’s like you are invisible! I once waited at the register for 10 minutes!!! MY YOGURT BEGAN TO DRIP ALL OVER THE SCALE!!!

This used to be one of the better frozen yogurt places in the area, but that has changed recently. Their machines are broken every time I go in there and there seems to be more and more broken every time. I went in there last night and they only has about 5 working, while the rest said out of order or weren’t functional. I hope they get their act together because I genuinely enjoy coming here as opposed to Red Mango, Cherrytree, or 16 Handles.

THEY HAVE NON-​DAIRY OPTIONS! I REPEAT THEY HAVE NON-​DAIRY OPTIONS! I’ve come to Peachwave three times and have had a good experience each time. They have a dedicated non-​dairy soft serve machine that makes excellent soft serve! I really enjoy the pineapple flavor and even though it’s non-​dairy the ice cream is very creamy tasting, which is awesome!
My only suggestion would be that they do something other than fruit flavors for the non-​dairy, just because we can’t or choose to not consume milk products doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy chocolate and all of the other amazing flavors. Fruit flavor gets boring after a while, so please more selection! Also it would be nice to have the option of fresh fruit as a topping.

They have a nicely designed spot here. It is very comfortable sit and enjoy your yogurt and have friendly staff. It is right near the rye train station and at the end of the strip in downtown Rye. There is a decent election of flavors and toppings.

First off, when you walk in, none of the three employees greet you — especially in a bright colored frozen yogurt shop, you would expect one smile. The flavor selection was wonderful. I appreciate that Peachwave has these cup dividers that separate flavors. Once more, the cashier seemed to lack any enthusiasm (incredibly monotonous voice combined with a flat affect) when we were paying for the yogurt. The décor of the place is great. The bright colors really compensate for the lack of energy given by the employees. In my opinion, the store front is better off without the inconsistent-​looking handwritten chalk marker signs on the windows. I did not appreciate how two employees were enjoying cups of yogurt just behind the counter; it showed a lack of professionalism. Although the vibe of the place is casual and fun, employees should not be «on break» eating yogurt when customers are in the vicinity as it decreases the business’ standards, but rather they should be in the back. Overall, the place is enjoyable but the staff could be more friendly.

Horrible customer service. Very disappointed how young girls don’t take pride into their work. Overall the fro-​yo was on point and the place is hip!

A very spacious froyo joint with a copious selection of toppings. The only thing that rained on my parade was the lack of mochi as part of their selection.

Nice to get a refreshing dessert after dinner! The Nutella flavour one is amazing!
They also have a non dairy Orange flavour one. Some are even sugar free!
Lots of different topping choices — but don’t get too carried away as they do charge by weight!
Also love that they have dividers for the cups to help separate the different flavours you put in your cup.
Don’t forget to get a colour changing spoon too!
