My family and I love this place. I’m actually sitting in their parking lot waiting for them to open. The food is amazing, the owners are so sweet. Their daughter Anna like to play with our daughter when we come. Someone said something about their hours and only being open for a few hours at a time. They have a young daughter and are working hard to have a work life balance since they immigrated to this country and purchased this place. Much respect to them!

Delicious food and highly affordable! I got the orange nuggets which was pretty good – tasted like light orange chicken and the Thai style hot and Sour soup was utterly delicious! The tomatoes melt right in your mouth! It tastes like Tom Yum! ;) The customer service was great; the host/​waitress was quick to greet me and take my order (fantastic!), and the food came out reasonably quick which was also pleasant! The interior is small; all the tables are basically lined up against a wall and there’s about 7 – 9 tables total. But I love the frames they have up; definitely inspiring!
I recommend this place for all people who like Asian food and want to eat healthier! You won’t be disappointed!

I was super impressed by the huge vegan selection and when the family settled on a few items to share we were all happy with our decisions. The food was quickly prepared, very tasty, the the price was excellent. I would have given a five star rating if it had a few more veggies in the chow mien but taste wise they are on point. I will come back for sure to try more foods.

I am not vegan, but I love their food and it’s so affordable. The staff is sooo sweet. At lunch time it gets packed. Their lunch special will keep you under $ 6. Try it out and you’ll be glad you did.

Moved here 8 months ago and love all the vegan options available!
So many positive things about this place: great prices, delicious food, friendly staff, 100% vegan menu and it’s right around the corner from me.
Only negative is most everything is cooked in oil so ask for light oil if you care about that. :)

This place is amazing! I ordered the chowfun, house salad, and wonton soup. So delicious! This place makes being vegan easy. Service is fast and super friendly and their prices are way affordable. A++

So delicious I came all the way from Redding to try this, and it was worth it. My boyfriend who is non vegan, got the vegan orange nuggets, and he absolutely loved them! I got the broccoli delight (broccoli beef) and it was amazing as well! Sooo much broccoli:) I would definitely recommend this place to anyone:) the menu is 100% VEGAN and the atmosphere is cute and I like the photos:)

This place rocks.
Seriously.
This little unassuming place serves delicious vegan food at an affordable price. $ 5 gets you a plate full of food during lunch, that’s a deal that cannot be beat regardless if you follow a plant based diet. In fact… the fact you’re eating a vegan meal for only $ 5 is amazing in itself.
So far, only enjoyed the sweet and sour nugget and the Mongolian wonder. It comes with soup, rice, and an egg roll. But I plan on going back for more, and way past Lent (Hi, my name is Jackie and I’m a Lenten vegan).
I even got a few co-​workers on this, one whom is Muslim and probably doesn’t get to enjoy Chinese food as much as other omnivores. He’s very pleased with this find.
The place itself is small, slightly dingy, but the tables and eating/​drinking utensils feel clean. I suppose it’s the building itself that needs a desperate upgrade, but it doesn’t bother me. Parking is street, free, slightly rough neighborhood (it’s next to the Colonial folks…)
Service is great considering it’s one server and one cook. I’m thankful I have an hour lunch to savior the plant-​based goodness.
Check it out, it’s definitely one of my new favorites.

Can I just say the vegan food is so cheap! I was able to get egg rolls, Chinese hot & sour soup, a pot of brown rice, the. Au Lac Special, & the orange delight all for less than 30 dollars!
The egg rolls were good, it was just filled with cabbage and carrots from what I could taste but it was perfectly crisp.
The Chinese hot and sour soup was delicious. My sister and I got ours extra spicy and it really packed a punch which we like.
The Au Lac was similar to a roast and it was good. Not my favorite dish but my sister really loved it so depending on your taste buds.
The orange delight was my favorite! It’s similar to a sweet & sour chicken or even orange chicken recipe! I really enjoyed this entrée and I feel kids would really enjoy it as well.
We were able to get a whole pot of brown rice for only $ 3. Crazy cheap prices.
Overall good place to try. It’s not the best vegan food I’ve ever had but it’s pretty good and super cheap so worth the try! The restaurant decorations and tables aren’t the newest or cleanest but it is do-​able. Not too bad, they have a decent lunch rush too.

Im not a wierdo vegan, but this place is awe some and homie.
The staff is nice. And they had a little one help out in back.
Having family help is awesome I think.
Anyone should come to this place not just for weirdo vegans.

My co-​workers and I crave this place. When word gets out that 1 person is going, everyone wants to go! We keep To Go menus handy so that we can bring lunch back to others.
Anna’s may not be open on Mondays, but it’s a small price to pay for the awesomeness every other day of the week.
If all vegan tasted this good, we’d keep cows as pets!

The food was delicious. I’ve been a vegan for only 4 days now, but out of all the vegan food I have tasted, this is by far the most satisfying.
The owner’s daughter was so cute, also. She came to our table after we finished eating and politely introduced herself and asked if my daughter could play with her. It was a refreshing change from a corporate sterile restaurant in which people have wonton verbal exchanges.
If I could eat this delectable food everyday, I would never eat animal products again.

Firstly, I’m a huge supporter of any and all vegan restaurants here in Sacramento, (because there are so few around) — and I do love this place — but that doesn’t mean it’s free of all flaws.
First and foremost, the food is GREAT. The relationship among quality, quantity, and price is hard to beat. However with that said, I recommend Anna’s as a takeout-​only place.
I dined there once with my girlfriend and the place as a café/​restaurant has zero charm and no ambience. Barren walls, tired décor, and no music. When you’re only one of five tables, the lack of music makes it uncomfortable to talk freely as everyone around you can hear everything. It pains me to say a bad word against this place as I love to support it, but I have to be frank: do not come here for a dining experience because you will be underwhelmed.
But hey, it can all be easily fixed: splash a new color on the walls, update the tables and chairs, play some ambient music in the background and it’d be guaranteed to do wonders for the place!
Besides that, the owner is always very sweet and accommodating and the food is consistently delicious (which, after all, is what’s most important).
We will always be back for more.

We came for lunch today, it was busy and the place is small, but we were seated right away. Only one waitress but she is efficient and friendly.
We ordered off the lunch menu, where everything is $ 4.95 and you get a bowl of soup and crispy veg roll with each entreé. The soup was good, what I imagine chicken noodle soup to taste like but vegetarian of course. The crispy roll was great, nice crunch and filling.
Husband ordered the Mongolian Delight and I had the Broccoli Tofu stir fry. We both really liked our dishes. Very fresh and healthy-​feeling… filling too! We had asked for them to be spicy but they were still a little too tame for us. There is a spicy condiment on the table to remedy that.
We both see ourselves becoming regulars here, it’s a convenient distance from the UCD med center.

Very pleased with my first visit to Anna’s this afternoon! I work at the medical center and wanted something healthy off-​campus. I also had a craving for saucy tofu (I had sweet and sour tofu from Sac Co-​Op yesterday). After taking a very close look at Anna’s photos, seeing a review with the words «clean eating» and realizing everything was soy protein and veggies, I was on my way!
I ordered the eggplant tofu lunch special without hesitation. I added steamed broccoli instead of the crispy roll, and brown rice instead of white rice. The order got a little complicated with my changes (nothing new) but I ended up paying just the $ 7 cash I had in my hand. Amazing! My order took about 20−25min to come out, but I forgive this as there was a huge line after I’d ordered.
When I got back to work my co-​worker and I grabbed some bowls and quickly filled them with rice, broccoli and sweet eggplant. I’m usually not a fan of heavy sauces but I could not resist the black bean sauce that soaked up the eggplant so perfectly. The spice was just right; very subtle, balancing out the sweetness of the eggplant bites. I forgot you can choose your «heat» level. Next time I’ll step it up a notch.
This beautiful, inexpensive meal was so tasty that I plan to make a lunch run again this Friday. I think we’ll try the curry dish or the or orange delight, and of course the eggplant again!

Food is amazing and inexpensive. The service is quick and the lunch specials are to die for!
When I hear the term «eat clean» and I want to eat at a restaurant, I always think of Anna’s. The food is not greasy and it’s made fresh to order.
Craving Thai tea? Well, Anna’s has the best. Every time I eat here I get a Thai tea with my order because it is so delicious and pairs well with whatever I get to eat.
Vegan or not, please check out Anna’s because you’ll be doing yourself a favor.
