Antioch Progressive Baptist Church

It will be three years this coming March that I have been a member of this church. I would consider myself a shy person and I’m not real big on being around a bunch of strangers so picking a church to call my own was not an easy task. There are many good churches and good pastors that can deliver the message of the Lord to people but for me feeling uncomfortable and unaccepted would have been a distraction from receiving the message. From day one Antioch Progressive Baptist Church, when I say Church I mean the people, made me feel welcomed, accepted, secure, and part of the family. From the person sitting next to me, to the ushers, Deacons, and all the way up to our Senior Pastor I have felt nothing but genuine love. That feeling of love and inclusion was an important factor for me. Don’t take my word for it come see for yourself. No pressure! No obligations! Just praise, worship, and fellowship.

One of the best things about this church is that it teaches you what the Bible says and doesn’t tell you what the preacher thinks. I realize there is no perfect place because there are no perfect people but I appreciate the efforts made by the Sr. Pastor to show genuine love for those who enter the doors.
