If you are in the mood for a GIANT hambuger that is cheap, Benny’s is the place for you. ½ lb burger cooked to well with fries for 7.99. Pretty darn good deal. Ordered mine with Bacon, Avocado, Red Onion and Swiss. It also had Lettuce, Tomato and Mustard/Mayo. The bun was good quality and there was a good burger-bun ratio. The fries, in my opinion were perfectly cooked. This place treats your dollar with respect.

Found this place on a complete lark while in the area. It is the epitome of a hole in the wall joint. There are three stools, a counter and the kitchen. There’s also the smell of wood-fired meat. It was lunch and I had limited time, so I chose a burger. I went with the pastrami burger because, well, pastrami. It touted a half-pound patty, red onion, tomato, lettuce, pastrami, pepperoncini and a nice thick slice of cheddar. The bun was clearly not store-bought, which I appreciated. The burger was cooked maybe a tad longer than I’d prefer, but it had a nice chargrilled flavor. I would recommend calling in your order. As previously mentioned, it is a very small place and seating is hard to come by. Also, they were doing brisk business with limited staff and limited kitchen space, so there is a bit of a wait. Despite being busy, the gentleman behind the counter was welcoming and engaging, which I appreciated.

Horrible horrible horrible… I’m all about supporting the small guy trying to make his way in this world but come on man spaghetti noodles for the Mac n cheese!!! I know you have to make it stretch as a small business but you have so many other noodles to choose from(bowties, shell, elbow, even egg noodles) but don’t ever!!! Ever, ever, ever use spaghetti noodles!!! The audacity!!! Smh. Now for the pros… The potato salad was decent, the yams not bad either and the meat was good. Ok, now that concluded the pros now back to some cons and what happens to be the biggest con of them all for me is the sauce and to say it was disappointing is a compliment. Lay off the freaking garlic and I mean way off like you should never touch garlic again or be arrested and easy on the vinegar also. If they can re think the sauce and come with something edible instead of what they have now for the recipe then I might go back. For now they recieve a solid one star from me. I wanted to maybe give two stars but my stomach said I better not.

Hands down becoming a crowd favorite! Best BBQ in Sac! Wide selection of side dishes all made in house. No charcoal all wood so come and enjoy the sweet smell of BBQ smoke. Also have Chicken & Waffles! Can’t forget about the desserts Sweet Potato Cheesecake to die for just to name one! Get on down to Benny’s BBQ

Southern BBQ meets the Carolina’s. A dry rub with a vinegar based BBQ sauce. Not the sweet type and different than what I was expecting. My three way came with two sides. The mac n Cheese was okay? the greens were not salty and were good to the last bit. The brisket was the best, the ribs were falling off the bones, too done for my liking, and the chicken was a little dry. Still like MoMo’s/

The food and service were genuine and legendary. My bf ordered a pulled pork sandwich. During the car ride home he could barely wait to eat. The meat was so plentiful he had enough food to make two sliders later that day. The meat was tender and thoroughly seasoned. I had a bacon cheddar burger. It was delicious, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. We also tried the Louisiana crunch cake. It was moist and so tasty. We will be back very soon. This is a must try spot!

I ordered a BBQ chicken dinner. The chicken taste like straight propane, that was all I tasted. Didn’t have any other flavor to it but that. Made me feel nauseous. the outside of the chicken was burnt super dark. The coleslaw was sour. I’ve never had sour coleslaw?. The red beans were decent and that was all I ate. Price was expensive for the type of food I got. Would not recommend.
