Went in and were instantly judged and haggled when we attempted to test out a massage chair. A woman tried out the chair right before me and an employee named Paul turned it off while we were mid test without telling us and told us we have to pay to try after we just observed a woman before us come in, try the chair, then leave. No appointment, no charge. This PAUL then proceeded to strong arm us into leaving like we were lower then him, treating us like peasants. Completely unacceptable and rude! Terrible And he should be fired, this isn’t how someone should be treated in any way! We were planning on buying drones but we left after that confrontation due to the incompetence.

very DISAPPOINTED with the service i received from one of the sales associates. I was being helped by the nicest guy then another associate rudely came over to me and told me i couldn’t try a massage chair bc i had tried to many! I was definitely offended. I went in to try a chair but the guy helping me started showing me all of these other gadgets then when i go to try what i originally came inn for i was denied. Eventually i was allowed to try but not without putting up a fight and checking his behavior.

honestly loved this place until i bought a massage chair. my bf and i bought one and it broke within the same month. we ended up returning it and getting another one. they gave us a replacement, and when we opened up the box, it was missing the remote. so the«new» one they gave us was obviously used. we called up the manager & he said there was no way to get our money back that day, we had to call the customer service line, mail the chair in and wait a month for the money to be deposited back into our account. Kind of disappointing. The customer service here was great though, i’ll give them that.

This store has a bunch of over priced crap! The products are generic with brookstone name and marked up 200 percent. I Went in there this week just to see what they had. Massage chairs are cool but you can find similar massage chairs for a fifth the price. The speakers are generic at best. I found the same mini speakers at frys for $ 20 that they sell here for almost $ 40. Backup batteries are 40 starting and i found the same exact one online without a brookstone logo for $ 10. Mot sure why i would pay 4x more for the same thing. This company needs to get it together and become more competitive. I also dont like being bugged by every sales person. I just want to look and if i have any questions ill let you know. They look like they are going out of business anyway. Amazon and ebay are the place to buy any of these items and you will save a fortune.

The items in this store are mostly tech junkie, health and wellness or science ware. Most of the displays are hands-on so you see a lot of people, like me, trying things out. This is a good place to shop for that hard to find a gift for person.

I walked in this store at 6pm, left at 8pm, not by choice, this store might be 1200 square feet max. I bought a groupon like any chump would and had $ 50 dollars to blow here. I had to make a minimum purchase of $ 50 for my groupon and I didn’t want to spend any much more, so my options were limited. Everything in this store is overpriced most of the items range from $ 100-$ 200. They got some cool things around $ 20, but even at that price point, it’s way marked up. For example, they sell something similar to whiskey stones, they give you 4 em, have a cool name and box for it, and charge $ 20. Anyways, I ended up buying a bungee chair for $ 50 +tax. The chair itself is cool, but when they went to use my groupon and charge my card, it literally took 40minutes to an hour. So this is holiday season right, but for whatever reason their cash registers weren’t accepted credit cards. Therefore they had to call corporate in order to accept the groupon and charge my card. This is at 7pm on a Monday and their own corporate put the cashier on hold for like 40minutes, it was an absolute ridiculous process. The only reason I give this 2 stars instead of 1 is because during the 40 minute wait I chilled out in their $ 3000 massage chair which really does do an amazing job at massaging. Also, the staff is really nice. Don’t get me wrong though, Brookstone sucks.

This is one of my favorite stores to browse in. They are definitely unique in the products they carry. I love looking at all the latest in technology. I often find something that I didn’t know how much I needed, until seeing it perform in the store! Products that promote high tech, upgraded electronics, leisure, health & wellness, and the newest of inventions all devoted to living a life of convenience! The employees here are very nice and quite knowledgeable about what they carry. One young man answered all of our questions, didn’t talk down to us because of our outdated views and may have even subliminally tempted us into wanting to buy the product(s) as soon as possible!(It’s a good thing I didn’t have a charge card on me)!
This type of store always excites me and gets me dreaming of how much nicer my life would be by owning one of these products! Yes, I have to only dream right now, because the latest in technology is never cheap. Not super expensive either, just a little over my budget at this time. But at least I have a goal on what I want to purchase, since there are already a half dozen gadgets I must have in the near future!
