This place fuckin sucks!!! Not good fuckin service.
Dont open a fuckin dennys in the ghetto

Way under staffed and terribly managed. Got seated and waited 15 minutes but no one came to greet us or offer water/​coffee. But the waitress was slammed and couldn’t even help us when we waved at her. We left. Has potential. Hire more staff or change manager.

It’s sad to see that we have so many complains but the compliments we get on a daily bases aren’t seeing here.

Worst Denny’s I been too, as me and my co worker are eating we look on the wall and see a baby roach THEN we see a huge adult roach crawling next to me, we only ate half our meal and refused to pay the bill the manager said we had to pay for it, she took down the plates of the car and our Id information, who in their right mind should pay for a meal they didn’t finish cause they have roaches crawling next to them. one of the most unprofessional managers I have met. I took video and pictures of the roaches. Do not go there.

I tought it was good, it was super buisy and we still got a table ratively fast and service was fast polite and nice, waitress kept checking in. I don’t dine much at dennys but will definetly go back. Really good food too. They are not skimpish nor greedy, really big portion sizes.

Wait for 30 mins at LEAST to get a seat and i ended up waiting another 30 mins before a server came to take our order and it took a whole hour before i got up and just left so i wasted 2 hours here just to sit in a noisy place

I went in this morning for breakfast we got a lady named friendly, we sat down for at least 15 minutes before she even said hello to us, when we ordered she didn’t ask the person I was with how he wanted his steak and she didn’t ask if we wanted anything to drink we then got out drinks and it was the wrong drink she insisted it was the drink we ordered. Overall never going back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

This Denny’s location is really nice but the staff aren’t really trained properly. They forget orders and lack customer service skills. I will say, the food is always great and it rarely takes that long to get served.
The interior is nice and new, but not enough tables as everything is spread out. The area isn’t the best and is right next to a low budget hotel where prostitutes rent rooms. On a good note though, there’s lots of parking and it’s close to the freeway.

Came out to breakfast with my husband this afternoon at this new spot. I can honestly say. I never even knew this Denny’s was here, never mind that its been here for over 2 years. That was a bit shocker for me. Well I think that was a good move on their part, because a lot of people had stopped going to the old Denny’s.
I can’t remember the last time I had eaten there. This new Denny’s is nice, its nice and big. It reminds me of a Denny’s that is in the Natomas area. I like the set up in here. The young people that work here are very professional. Our waitress name was Friendly. How cute is that? And I going to say for the record that she lived up to her name.
She was an excellent waitress, very attentive and made sure we got what we needed. The food was ok, I ordered the T-​bone steak with eggs and hash browns. My husband says that his steak tasted like a pork chop, but mines was soo tough, I couldn’t even chew it. I asked for it well done and you got to be a great chef to cook a steak well done without over cooking it. I took my steak home in hopes that I could maybe put it in the oven and finish cooking it, but that didn’t work out to well.
Yea I like this new Denny’s a lot and know that I will come back. I just don’t think I’m going to order the steak again. If I’m not mistaken I believe that steak and eggs was like $ 14.95. That’s a lot for it not to be cooked right and I hate when I allow them to serve me anything and not say anything. I jjust got to stop doing that. Eating out cost too much for that.
Overall the experience wasn’t to bad and Friendly was very friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Will defiantly will come back again.

Very poor service. It 12.10 am and server took order at 11.15…still we hv not got any food .we hv went to cashier in front to ask for our food. our food been readdy but waitress is lazy to bring it to us… if Dennys wants more business then they need to hv active servers.

Last time coming here! Waitress was nice although abut young and forgetful my return has nothing to do with her but the food. I ordered an avocado grilled chicken salad and to my surprise the avocado was nowhere near fresh and delicious. They say a picture is worth 1,000 words well here you go… gross right! So I asked the waitress if I can have fresh avocado she came back and said «um I was told this is fresh and they all look the same» um really? Ridiculous. So I tried my sons pancakes… even with syrup they were hard!!! So not coming back. Should of seen the Unilocal reviews first. Lesson learned.

If negative stars were possible, I would give them –10 stars. Denny’s has never really had great customer service, but this one takes the cake. They’re all working hard but they’re still so damn slow. it’s sad honestly. It can be a real tough crowd here (and at the old location on Mack) but geeez I only come back because it’s cheap. It’s so dreadfully slow here.5 min to get greeted to be seated, 10 min before they come ask what you want to drink, 40+ for the food to come out. I’m ranting cus I’m mad af they never have ice cream here! I always want a sundae but can never get one since they’re out of ice cream. It’s pretty much always a terrible experience here…

It’s unfortunate that this Denny’s location has such bad reviews. Every time I’ve eaten here, I’ve always left satisfied.
I was craving breakfast foods and remembered Denny’s $ 2-​$ 8 meal deals. They’ve added some new items to the menu, as well as increasing the price of some meals. I ordered the $ 8 French Toast meal. There were only two slices of French toast, and I remembered it being four all the times before. This meal also came with an orange juice and coffee, which I changed to a large OJ. My boyfriend ordered the $ 6 blueberry pancakes meal. He thought that the pancakes would look like the picture on the menu and be topped with whipped cream. When he received his non whipped cream topped pancakes, he asked our waitress, who kindly brought out a cup filled with whipped cream. She was soooo sweet. Both of our meals definitely hit the spot.
The only complaint I have is in regards to the many annoying flies buzzing around the restaurant and our food. Other than that, this Denny’s has made it to my recommendation list!

A negative star show be allowed. Quite possibly the worst experience at a Denny’s. 2^nd to the their other location which use to be next to Big 5 down the road I believe. That’s another review.
I don’t normally go to Denny’s but the convenience draws you in. My wife and kids were out and needed dinner around 8 or 8:30 PM. It was our first time there. The place wasn’t too packed, but it took us a while to get seated. We were led to a booth near a window with the sun was setting and shining hotly on us through it. I asked for another table, the hostess, which turned out to be the manager (a chubby, elderly white women) points to the blinds and said, «just close the blinds.» I didn’t even see the blinds as it was pulled all the way up, but it was my bad, and laughed it out and sat down. We got our menus, the waiter finally comes over to take our order, and leaves. It takes forever to get water, and our food. When we got it, we were quite disappointed! My wife and I both got the steak with brown rice and and veges, and the kids got spaghetti. When I saw the steaks, I was like, «is that my order?» It didn’t not look like a steak or the picture! The waiter said yes, places it on the table and leaves. Just looking at it, I knew it was going to be bad. The veggies and rices were okay, but the steak was flat, and had cut marks on it like the chef was trying to dice it up. I took a bite of it and it was awful! Salty, burnt tasting, and dry. It looks and tastes like was first microwaved then then pan fried! Is that how you cook a steak?! We also asked for medium but got well done!
I decided to keep eating it anyway and after about 3 – 4 bites, I gave up and just pushed it aside. My wife didn’t even touch hers. Now, we’re not the type to complain to waiters or management about food, but my wife was really ticked off. We’re the type of people to just take what ever it is out and just eat it; food is food. But we were just grossed out. So, my wife musters the confidence to go up to the front and asked for a reorder (since our waiter was no where to be found) and the manager/​hostess comes to our table. She asked what’s wrong. I told her about the steak and she said, «that’s how it’s cooked.» I told her I wanted medium, and it’s not, the steak tasted like it was microwaved, etc, etc. She looked angry and said, «what do you want me to do about it!?» REALLY REALLY??? First of all, how about apologizing and then maybe offer to either reorder it or even comp the meal, that we weren’t even eating! She then asked if we wanted another order or «what?» BTW, I also told her my daughter’s spaghetti was undercooked and hard. She said, «we don’t make it fresh, it comes out of a box.» I told her I knew that but she just rolled her eyes. Finally, I just told her to give us the check and told her to take the charges for the 2 steaks out. We were going to pay for the spaghetti since my daughter didn’t know better and ate some. She said okay, rolled her eyes, left, and my wife followed her to the front to the cashier to pay the difference.
We just walked out of their feeling disgusted and vowed never to return! What a horrible manager and waiter! The food is awful and the service? What service? Never again! Stay clear from this dump!!!

I would like to start this review by saying that I have had better service here once before…
Although, there has been more than bad that has happened at my previous visits.
This last time I went myself and my family were greeted by a very rude waiter by the name of AMBER B.
It took a good while for us to even get waters to our table, which usually isn’t a big deal since we were still deciding on what to eat anyways. Even then she rarely visited our table for anything at all. And we can clearly see her standing in the kitchen, maybe organizing the flat wear or something other than attending peoples orders. Then when she handed us the final receipt she charged us for mayo on one of the original burgers without telling us during the time of the order that it would be extra. I have worked in a «restaurant setting» before and have not seen such horrible costumer service. The last time I came Here I had an older women serve my table and 3 others at the same time and do just fine. I’d actually appreciate it as a costumer if maybe something were to be done about this. That’s all.

This is a group review. My brother gives 4 stars and my guy cousin gives stars. I’d give 3.5 stars but don’t know how to do it.
There wasn’t much customers for the size of the place during the time we came.
Customer service was good. Food came within 15 to 20 min.
The guys liked all the dishes. I think the weakest was the Quesadilla. The best was the Beef Pot Roast.

Came here around 2:30pm with a friend of mine. We were seated in an area with literally no other people around us.
It took 10 – 15 minutes for our waiter to come and take our order. As we were waiting, I couldn’t help but notice a giant table that had not been cleared since probably earlier that day. Really? There are no other people here and you’re never packed, what takes so long to clear a table?
Once we got our food (I ordered chicken strips that were way overcooked with a side of clumpy mac n’ cheese, so-​so fries, and soggy «dinner bread»), our waiter told us that he was going on his 30 minute break. Okay, cool. He told us that another server would take care of us. After he left, no other server came to check on us. I felt bad for a couple who had just gotten seated and had been waiting a while to order their food. Good luck getting any service!
After eating our less than mediocre meals, we got up to check out. We won’t be back (at least to this location). Boo!

I mean, who doesn’t like see-​through bacon when you’re hungry. «Excuse me waiter, didn’t I order extra bacon shadow on this plate???» This is the place where you hold onto a menu because you’ll need to order again after you finish your plate… all the while you will be asking yourself why you didn’t stay on the freeway for a few more exits and go to iHop.
Grab a window seat so you can behold the traffic on the great Stockton BLVD Hooker Expressway. This place will have you wondering, where does a pimp shop now that Clothing Broker is gone? Why do they never shiver in the cold? As well as, How have you been putting yourself through college for the last 15 years and still have no edubacation? Just in case you still don’t get it, this place is flanked by hooker infested motels so bring some anti-​bacterial soap if you touch the door, or hmmmm maybe a blow-​torch. Should have stayed on the freeway homie!

I had their $ 4 chicken wraps with bbq sauce with fries on the side with ranch. I also had this Pancake Puppies with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. My friend invited me to have a late night snack and just have conversation and catch up.
We didnt really have to wait that long for our food to come out. What I found strange is that our pancake puppies arrived first before our chicken wraps. For me that was odd because you would think the waitress would have the common sense to know that the vanilla ice cream would melt by the time we were done eating our chicken wraps. The least she couldve done was ask us if we wanted to eat the pancake puppies first or not. The food came to us without the simple common sense that most people do not eat dessert first. Unless she thought the pancake puppies was an actual meal itself. I dont think so… it has vanilla ice cream so its a dessert.
She didnt come back to check up on us if we needed our waters filled. We didnt give a tip. The food was great but the waitress service was just insanely not worth it. Today they get 3 stars.

A brand new Denny’s has opened in my neighborhood! Now I can easily walk here if I wanted too! My boyfriend and I wanted to try them out, so we decided to check them out for dinner. We were greeted by the cashiers with smiles and immediately escorted to a comfy booth near the windows. Our waitress Rebecca was pleasant and laid back as she answered our questions about the menu. We have found ourselves to be more food conscious these days when it comes to our age and health issues. So it was a nice surprise to see that they offer some low calorie meals along with their standard American dishes. But I wasn’t in the low cal mood at this time…
I ordered roasted turkey breast with mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green salad and garlic bread for $ 9.49. My dinner was pretty good as I managed to finish the majority of my food. Very tasty and cooked the way I like it! However, my boyfriend was disappointed with his meal after ordering steak and eggs which cost $ 14.99. The main problem was that the steak was tough and lacked much flavor. But he did enjoy the eggs, toast and side of grits.
I was having a hard time deciding on how to rate this Denny’s especially after comparing it to our recent visit to a Black Bear Diner. I have to say that they are definitely «A-​OK» as a Denny’s goes. The restaurant is of course clean inside, comfortable seating areas, a few flat screen TV’s are placed for viewing as you eat, the staff are very nice, and there is plenty of parking available. I’m glad that they are open 24 hours and serve breakfast any time of the day. This place is so convenient, that I can stop in for coffee and dessert whenever I want to! As I keep writing about all the positive things about this new restaurant, I can’t fight the fact that I have already turned into a fan of this place!
