I think I’d better mention Bobbie. right off the bat. That girl was a Dynamo. She anticipated everything that we could possibly need after we ordered our breakfast. She took incredible care she had a big smile for she was pleasant outgoing oh I’d give her a big hug of my girlfriend didn’t get jealous. She was really really nice and then I noticed around the room as I started watching all the other employees in the room that I have to say that everybody in that whole building got wonderful customer service mine just happened to be Miss Bobbie. If I had to return to this area I would absolutely come back and eat here just because of the way that she took care of me. I’ve been a Dallas fan for many years and this will absolutely guarantee I will continue being a dentist and for many years.

I decided to take my family out for a nice Sunday breakfast and we chose Denny’s, as we had a coupon(one free entrée with the purchase of another entrée and 2 beverages). I doubled checked the address and date of expiration on the coupon and everything was good. I presented the coupon upon check out and was advised they«do not accept these» because the company who printed them did so illegally. First, this coupon came from the«Save Around» book purchased through my child’s school for a fundraiser. Secondly, if this company did print these illegally, I am confused as to why Denny’s is punishing the customer instead of pursing a court case with the fundraising company. I requested to speak to the manager, «Jim,» and was advised he was«too busy.» I said I would wait and was left waiting(with my children) for over 45 minutes. Jim advised they have posted signs and refuse to accept the coupon. I asked the question as to why the customers were being punished for an issue that is clearly between Denny’s and Save Around. Jim reiterated what the initial hostess said and went on to further explain that he or anyone can just go on their personal computer to print a coupon and attempt to use it, stating this is the same thing. I beg to differ. See that would be illegal and I(the one who printed it knowing it wasn’t legit) could be prosecuted by the law. That was not the case here. He was accusatory in his statements and just extremely RUDE. I have been going to Denny’s for as long as I can remember, this particular one I have visited several times over the past 25 years. I can honestly say this was my final trip to Denny’s. I am extremely disappointed in the treatment I received and the lack of customer service. This was not so much about the money but the principal. Definitely plan on taking my children to a real family restaurant from here on out. Shame on you Denny’s.

Came in for dinner on a Friday night at 9:40 pm, service was absolutely horrible, food absolutely horrible! Attitudes of staff,… rude! Not one time did any server come to our table to refill drinks or ask if we needed anything. Couldn’t even get someone to bring our check for over 20 minutes. Hands down the WORST service and food EVER! Very disappointed!

Just going to make this simple when I came in they said hi. Got us a booth pretty fast. Waitress name Sarah was excellent. Food also came out good made my wife happy thats really important. There was a few mini errors inside the store but very tiny that’s why I gave it four stars. But over all Sarah was excellent.

This is absolutely the worst Dennys I have ever been to. My boyfriend and I came here on a Sunday and waited for 20 minutes before seating ourselves as the cashier stared at the register. Then once the waitress came we waited 15 minutes for our drinks and another 45 for our food. I will never eat here again.

I’m not really a big fan of Denny’s but one of my good friends wanted to eat here for breakfast and it was a spot to meet up to exchange gifts, haha. So why not! I am thankful and blessed for each time I get to eat food. Not everyone can afford food. Their food is decent, I got the holiday turkey sandwich &2 butter milk pancakes on the side(didn’t get to take a picture of the pancakes though). The turkey tasted like I was eating ham… And I don’t eat swine anymore. So I kept making sure it wasn’t pork, lol. Anyways the pancake was unsure for me, some parts of the pancakes tasted like pancakes and some parts of it tasted really weird. The service on the other hand, I did not appreciate. My friend, her cousin and I really didn’t at all. We sat down, our waitress gave us the menu. 2 minutes later she was back to take our orders and we barely looked at the menu. We were all catching up on life first. Then she left us to give us a few more minutes. It’s like she came back after another 2 minutes. It’s like hey! we want to be able to look at everything too, you know? To see if we really want what we want to eat. I noticed she got upset we took long. Anyways, after we ordered we waited. I personally didn’t see how rude she was to other customers but my friends did. I only noticed she rushed us. After dropping the dishes to our table. She left then came back within a minute and asked how does everything taste when we barely even touched our food. We will tell you how the food taste like when we actually eat it, haha. Silly ! So we eat and few minutes later she said«thank you for dining with us. Here is your receipt!». I understand she wants more tables to get more tips or whatever but you’re not going to get any tips if you rush your customers like that… We really felt like she didn’t want us there. What made us realize she was so in a rush. We when up to the front and got ready to pay. She came out from the back and she was holding a coffee and a juice in both hands. And her and I were about to collide until she stopped herself and apologized saying«I am sorry!!! I’m rushing to my table. I’m so sorry ladies». Well, I wasn’t rude about it. I said, it’s okay :). Service is everything you know! What I did enjoy was the seasoned fries. Hey, I love fries. They should fix the inside especially the smell, some parts of the inside smells like a hospital/care home. They should do a whole restaurant rescue and maybe a good quality food rescue! :] Would I come back? I don’t think so…

My spouse and I went there for breakfast this morning we ordered our food the service was very well however upon receiving my food I ate my appetizer and went to move on to my omelette just to find a hair on my food it was an issue of having the omelette removed from my bill. So my husband and I ended up paying for a meal that I did not eat as well as regrets that I ordered or cold upon receiving them the biscuits and gravy ordered or cold upon receiving them seems that the only thing hot that we received was the coffee unfortunately I will not be returning to this restaurant as well as the service was the food was very undesirable and quite frankly my husband got the Grand Slam breakfast and he was ill by noon not sure if the eggs were bad or the sausage was undercooked but something has caused him to have chills and food poisoning like symptoms caution before you eat here

Was ok. There were three of us. We sat at the counter thinking itd be faster service. We waited an hr for our food. They ended up putting pecans in the pancakes when we asked them not to. They didn’t ask to refill our drinks. Everyone was super nice except for the guy that I think was the manager(jef?) …acted like he was the manager… couldn’t see the name tag. We kept hearing him complain to the other workers. Not sure who our server was. We were being helped by 6 different people cause we had to keep asking them for refills and letting them know that the pancakes were wrong. …jukebox wasn’t loud enough. Couldn’t hear it at all RUDY was really nice, she took our order. But that was the only time we talked to her. ANGELITAWASVERYNICEANDWORKEDREALLYHARDTHEENTIRETIMEWEWERETHERE. I HOPECORPORATELET’S HERKNOWABOUTWHAT I WROTE. …we’ve been sitting here now for two hrs… waiting for our bill. Just ate or tried to eat breakfast at the location on Interstate Ave. My friend wanted to take me out for breakfast. I don’t usually eat out but I was willing to give it a whirl. Let’s see, where do I start? I ordered an all meat omelet with fire roasted veggies, rye toast and water with crispy hash browns. Seems simple enough. My companion ordered a «slam» breakfast, which sounded decent, with eggs over medium. When the food arrived I was informed they didn’t have rye toast. Should have mentioned that sooner as I usually eat my toast first. No biggie. My companions egg whites were not done. Pretty runny. Cool if you’re into over easy but not over medium. My meal was full of surprises. Overcooked meat«blackened» as we’re the veggies. Cold undercooked hash browns. You could taste the uncooked starch. Did I mention that I asked for crispy hash browns? The food was so salty I thought the lid may have fell off the shaker! Finally the toast was burnt. F… me. On top of it all the waitress never came back to the table until the end to ask if we needed more drinks. My water was empty because I was trying to wash all of the nasty flavor and salt down. I replied that I was parched due to all of the salt. So, yes I need more water! She said she would be right back. The waitress was standing about 12 feet away for 5 minutes with another employee. I could hear them. it was not work chat. I got up to get more water and then she was willing to get it for me. I stated I needed it this morning. Usually not my norm but I was getting pissed. We walked to the register cause I didn’t know how long the f ing bill was going to take. I refused to pay for the food I barely touched and she just kept apologizing. That was cool but still doesn’t fix the fact that I have been in the restroom for the last half hour. I don’t have a weak stomach either. Bottom line is go to Brookfields across the street or somewhere else. This place stinks so bad it doesn’t deserve a single star. It was the minimum I could do. Worst experience in a long time. I’ll do all the cooking next time. I would rather go hungry than eat that crap again.

First time I have eaten here and I do have to say some of the best customer service and friendly staff I have seen in a long time. All the waitresses and the kitchen staff were very nice and patient with us. It was my and my 9 month old daughter. She made a huge mess and I felt so bad but they didn’t mind. They were happy she loved her mashed potatoes. Everything was delish. Thank you.

It’s your average Denny’s. Not the best Denny’s around, but not the worst. It can be pretty ghetto though. It’s right next to a very cheap motel and I think a lot of the«travelers»(tweekers) hang out here. Plus side: great place for people watching! Every time I’ve been here, which is quite a few times, the service is always great. The waitresses are friendly and attentive, even when it’s pretty busy. The food… sometimes the food is on point here, other times not so much. It’s hit or miss. I’ve learned you can’t go wrong with breakfast items. The grand slam, etc always come out tasting great. It’s when you go off the beaten path, like I tend to do, that you may suffer. Once I even tried a Denny’s steak here! Silly me. It was way over done, tough and tasted freezer burned. I knew the chance I was taking going in, oh well. It did come with some great sauteed squash that I really enjoyed. :)

The food was bad, that is about the only way to say it. I got a chicken fried steak, cold in the middle. My son got mac and cheese, OK boxed obviously even from the menu, but boxed, nuked(yes we could see the kitchen) and the grapes as he phrases it yucky squishy. Well that translates to rotted and mush. OK Denny’s I do not expect great food, but I do service. The waitress checked if I wanted more coffee zero times and came and poured more in my cup as we were putting on our coats to leave. She dropped our check in the middle of our table and half on my plate less than five minutes after we were served, and we sat watching our food sit under the heat lamp for five minutes before she went to pick it up. Simple thought, Denny’s in Sacramento, only go to the one at Fair Oaks and Manzinita. Yup the only one that has good service and eatable food.

I live down this street and this place is super convenient and consistent! Besides for a few visits we are happy customers. And yes, this one is in a very rough part of town, but the food is still the same. The service is pretty good as well.
