Wort service I have ever experienced! Being a Manager in the customer service industry myself I have never encountered someone as unqualified as our waitress Shelby I believe her name was. We waited for an hr just to get drinks and when we asked her where they were she amediatly had the worst attitude. Staring at me as if she was asked to do something outrageous. Still waiting now for an hr and a half. I finally asked to speak with the manager who was at the time picking up her slack by bringing out drinks and bussing table Robert the Manager finally came over and when I told him the situation he offers me more food. I told Him I did not want more food only wanted the drinks and food I orderd. I informed him of the way his unprofessional employee was be having and he walked to the back as if he was getting our drinks, food, something. 15 min later I was fed up and so we’re the rest of the guests that still had no food or drinks. I mean what we’re they doing in the back. There was no food no drinks just port attitude and unprofessional staff.

This is the worst Denny’s I’ve ever been to, maybe even the worse restaurant in general. They claim they are understaffed… okay…there was about 5 tables in total about 10 customers if that. but Aside from them working terribly slow and acting like its the customers fault for slow and inadequate service, BEWARE the hostess I believe her name is SHELBY(shorter black hair, glasses, Mexican or white girl I don’t know or care) or something like that has a fake ghetto accent and will have a very demeaning tone about anything. I seriously thought we were on a practical game show. She needs to be fired, common sense cannot be learned in her case she’s so far gone she doesn’t even know what’s going on. She made everything difficult from giving us ONESIDEOFRANCH with our appetizer which she did not do, never came out with orange juice or coffees on our order we made 45 mins before. We were there for over an hour and finally had to pay for the appetizer and leave. worse I payed up front because the negative overtone I sensed from her made me feel like she was going to pocket our money. I use to love Denny’s I hope this store takes a good look at staff, seems like everyone there is tweakin. I Have NEVER waited an hour at a restaurant with no food to show. S*** was Impossible, all Shelby had to do was apologize for slow service and I would have been a little irritated but as every American I would have waited because I was hungry. Instead she took an aggressive approach and wanted to argue or confront us about waiting 45 mins for a small order. The mister Rogers lookin manager needs to fire her ASAP this is not a drill

Denny’s is well known for being a simple, easy, inexpensive, yet filling and very predictable. Thats accepted by 99% of anyone who enters a Denny’s and or is a frequent customer. I think thats completely ok, and God bless Denny’s for being open late and available for those who desire these qualities as there is definitely a market for it. What i want to express however, is that this specific Denny’s location is by far the most amazingly filthy, poorly staffed and even worse management personnel of any Denny’s i have visited in the entire United States. I travel for my job, and often times have late hours, thus i end up at a Denny’s as they are simple, easy, inexpensive but filling and typically very consistent. My experience tonight with a waitress named«Shelby» was unequivably the most clear definition for grounds of termination, i have experienced at ANY business where their are direct customer interaction and services involved. I ordered an All American Slam, and a Coca Cola(small) while i waited. When she rang up my order in the cash register, she handed me a receipt and asked me to «bring down the total.?» This is code for«i want a tip, and i want you to see that you have the option in hopes of getting one, even though she literally rang the order up, and that will be the entire duration of the service i would require, hence TO-GO.» She proceeded to attend other customers and dismiss my multiple attempts to ask if she could allow me to have the«coca cola while i waited?» Also HENCEWHILE I WAIT? She ignored me and i just sat quietly, not desiring a scene or conflict in the middle of a Denny’s restaurant. After 10 minutes, i approached her at the register again, asking for my beverage. Shelby turned and said very rudely«what do you want?» I replied asking for the drink. she then said these EXACT words«LOOKDUDE, CHECKTHISOUT, IM A LITTLEBUSYRIGHTNOW, ANDWHATEVERYOUTHINKYOUNEED I WILLGETWHEN I AMGOOD, SOCHILLOUT!» On the verge of tearful laughter, i smiled a replied«pardon me?» Shelby then shrugged her shoulders and told another gentleman to «get this guy whatever, i don’t have time to deal with him.» The rest you can imagine was just as bad, as they had made multiple mistakes on my order, even getting the toast wrong, as i was amazed someone at Denny’s could even find a way to make toast incorrectly, but to my amazement, Shelby the waitress, found a way. I feel that i always try to give anyone the benefit of the doubt and not react to anger at first comment as we are all human and are all imperfect, yet after multiple attempts at politeness and cautionary exchanges, I think that its fair to say that anyone who acts in the way that Shelby or staff in general, did to me, should be fired immediately and without discussion or hesitation. Shelby is a liability, and an insult to the most basic descriptions in any service position with regards to customer service. In addition, the person(s) who can keep it together and simply display great calm and service will be rewarded as people are by in general generous, including me, and empathetic, so as to be happy to give a gratuity to those who are being kind and display politeness above what would be expected. Shelby is simply NOT the material for a customer service position. Furthermore i question the management who were whiteness to her display of complete rude, accosting, unacceptable behavior, as they simply stood 5 feet away and said nothing at all. Stone faced and incompident. DONOTVISITTHISDENNY’s establishment if you would like basic human politeness, cleanliness, normal timely service and an experience of ANY positivity and worthy of your hard earned dollar. BEWARE and BEWARNED. I would have paid double for my American Slam, just to have had basic politeness demonstrated to me. Unbelievable and another reason why virtually EVERY comment on this location of Denny’s is TERRIBLE. Be well.

Dont come here unless you have 2+ hours. My husband and i have come to this location a few times, its always understaffed. It takes at least 15 – 20 to even be seated. This has to be the worse Denny’s location i have EVER been to.

The reason I gave this a one star is because there is no «zero» stars. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. You’ll be waiting for a table and the waitress will sit everyone else first even though you got there first !!

Service was as slow as molasses. The food wasn’t warm, didn’t get our order right. It’s always dirty in there, and everything is just sloppy. Stay away from here if you want good food. For a diner, it doesn’t even have diner quality food! Better off going to black bear diner.

Oh boy, here we go. Craved some junky, diabetic coma inducing food. Denny’s was the obvious choice for such fare. I ordered a moons over my hammy sandwich and subbed a side salad instead of fries. Hubby ordered a cheeseburger and added avocado and BBQ sauce. When the salad arrived, I was told it was 3.00 extra — who cares, it’s what I want, but you might want to tell me that when I order, in case that makes a difference and I want to change my mind. Got the salad and my sandwich came 10 minutes later. I let it get cold while we waited another 5 — 7 minutes for to his burger to arrive, because I wanted to eat with the hubby. His food eventually appeared, with no avocado or BBQ sauce. Back it went. I continued to wait to eat my sandwich, figuring it would just be a sec to hack up some avocado and glob on some BBQ sauce. As my sandwich sat on its plate, getting congealed and cold, our server, Jose walked by and slapped the check on the table, with no explanation about the missing burger, or curious inquiries as to why I wasn’t eating my obviously cold sandwich. Hubby thanked Jose for the bill, and requested the burger. Jose smiled and walked away. Huh? I waited an additional 5 minutes for his burger to arrive with the originally requested accoutrements, so we could enjoy our meal together but eventually gave up and ate my dang sandwich. Once I was completely done eating, his burger arrived. Avocado? Yes. BBQ sauce? Nope. Jose? Nowhere to be seen. Hubby gave up and asked someone else for a to-go box since it seemed easier to take it home and put BBQ sauce on it himself, rather than wait another 20 minutes. We went to the register to pay the bill and waited 3 or 4 minutes to be acknowledged. The girl was nice. Poor thing asked about our experience and I couldn’t stop myself from speaking my mind as I contemplated the sad tip I would be giving. Here’s where it gets hard for me… the bill was 20.00. I have a job where I kill myself to provide excellent customer service and resolve problems other people have created. Let me assure you, it’s a drag, but I do my best. I couldn’t stop myself from stating my displeasure(which I rarely do — i usually keep my trap shut and never go go back, but dang it, the girl asked me and I couldn’t let my displeasure go.) I told her that I knew it wasn’t her fault and that I am normally a 20% tipper even for mediocre service, but when she asked me to total the bill(add tip and sign) I felt like I needed to defend myself from the horrible tip I was about to leave. 10% — for only the second time in my 50 years on this planet. I don’t want to throw her under the bus for what she told me about Jose, so I won’t. Dear Denny’s — you need to deal with this problem — your«server» Jose, whom it appears everyone in the building is aware of. Not like I care, since I won’t ever come back, but this level of extraordinarily poor service won’t be bringing you any return customers, that’s for sure.

Would give this place a zero. Took an hour to get food. Ordered something as simple as nachos and didn’t even get the empty plate for a lack there of an hour later and the notification that they were out of ingredients to make said nachos. Couldn’t even get salads. Worst service ever!!! Will never go here again. Advise against it. Although it may be a place to sober up if you’re looking for late drunk munchies and have an. hour wait. Haha.

This has got to be the most horrible visit we had so far at Denny’s. Usually me and my grandmother would come here at Thursday or Friday at 1 – 2 am. Today we came at Wednesday at 1:15AM. They have a new cook apparently. Usually we had the manager who was amazing at cooking our meals. So when we came here tonight, it was quite the disappointment. We usually order the lumber jack slam, and my grandmother who enjoyed sirloin and their cheddar mash potatoes. It’s always amazing. When we got the mash potatoes with cheddar, we didn’t know what we were seeing. Not to mention the waitress who I believe was named«Sonia» was the rudest person I met yet there. She kept questioning us of why we wanted our potatoes recooked. The second time we just told her to take the potatoes of the bill. Everything else was okay, but waiting a bit over an hour is ridiculous. I think we plan to just go on Thursdays and Fridays.

This Denny’s used to be «The Good Denny’s», but since the one right by the freeway shut down, now I can see that they were only good in comparison. Yesterday my sister and I decided to grab some breakfast before I had to go to work. We decided Denny’s because it’s relatively cheap, food is pretty good, and it was in the direction that we were headed. Went in and we were seated fairly quickly by the hostess. She seemed to be in a slight rush, but there were quite a few people, so it didn’t bug me, I get it. Our waitress came over and took our order fairly quickly, which was awesome because we weren’t in a rush, but we didnt have all day to sit around waiting. She brought out drinks out and continued to her other tables. The booth behind me was sat about 5 – 10 minutes into our wait, and she got their order and everything fairly fast. This is where I felt miffed. I ordered French toast and eggs, while my sister ordered the single slice of French toast. Nothing super elaborate. We waited almost 20 minutes AFTER the booth behind us was sat for our simple order, while the booth behind us, who like I said, was sat 10 minutes after we ordered, got their order before we did, and was even checked on a couple times while we were waiting. Seriously? My sister and I almost walked out, but when we were making our exit, our food finally came. We ended up eating our order, but I felt like the waitress saw two 20-something ladies and thought we weren’t worth the energy to make sure we were comfortable. This used to be «My Denny’s», but after yesterday and countless other problems from this restaurant, I won’t be going back.

This place is so dirty… I had a hard time over looking that! My niece insisted on eating here. My food was mediocre. I will say that the waitress was nice enough and really quick on refills. She is the only reason for the second star. I know the area isn’t great but still, have a little pride in your job and clean the parking lot and Front door!

I wish I could give this place a 0 I just went in for food after my boyfriend got off work(we don’t have many options at 2:30am) it was horrible nobody said anything to us made us stand there forever then finally acknowledged us but still made us wait until they were done adding something in the register then finally sat us the floor was super dirty and nasty. Then they left us sitting there forever until we got up and just left! No thank you! Fire the manager! He was right there the whole time and didn’t do anything or make anyone help us!

We went to have lunch on my husband’s lunch break. We figured an hour would be plenty of time at Denny’s. Ordered our food at about 1220, by 1245 we still didn’t have our food, even after telling our waitress that we needed to put a rush on it. After finally asking for it to be put into to go containers, we waited in line for five minutes just to pay. Upon opening our to go containers, my fries were incorrect and there was a plastic bread tie in my husband’s sandwich. Not that I was expecting much out of a Denny’s, but I wasn’t expecting all this. Left with the thought of: «we paid $ 27 for this?» Totally ruined our lunch date. On a good note, when I did call to let them know what had happened with the sandwich type, they offered to come but the meal and or remake the sandwich if I could come back in.

1. Took forever to be seated. 2. I ordered a loaded potato soup. It had no potato what so ever! 3. Customer service was horrible! 4. No refills were offered, actually I don’t think anything was offered. 5. It took literally 15 minutes for our server to come and take our order! 6. The bill was never given to us we had to go up to them and yet we waited more time to be charged. This is ridiculous!

It’s a Denny’s, ’nuff said. Like every other Denny’s the food will be passable diner food, the staff may be courteous if not a bit dead behind the eyes, and the décor/overall cleanliness won’t stun you. But it’s a cheap meal, it’s open late and not like you’re rolling into a Denny’s for the ambience and a 5-star experience in the first place. I will say I massively enjoyed their new chocolate peanut butter shake(freakin YUM!) and our food was out to our table pretty fast. The one thing I found amusing about this Denny’s was the young patrons and the dancey top 40 pop soundtrack playing overhead. We came in for dinner around 10pm after a long day of moving(because we didn’t want to clean up enough for a nice restaurant, haha), but seems like this is the pre-club meal stop for the college-age crowd. It was kinda funny eating my Grand Slam-wich while Lady Gaga is inviting me to do what I want with her body. ;D
