The sales people at this store lied to me about the phone I bought. They told me that it had a discount because it was opened. But, when I got it home I realized that the logos on the back were rubbed off. I think I was sold a used phone. Also, when getting the phone set up, the sales guy was super annoyed that my password wouldn’t work and wanted me to give it to him. He was really unprofessional and weirdly agitated. The other sales person stepped in and was really helpful. Overall, I feel duped and wished I hadn’t fallen for their schemey offer.

I’m surprised at the previous reviews after the service I got at this store. I went in a week before I actually returned to buy(whch was about a month ago now — I was slow on this review), and the sales rep was helpful without being pushy. I came back and upgraded my plan and added a line to it(for my g/f). John(the sales rep) went the extra mile to make sure my g/f’s old T Mobile phone had it’s number and all data transferred, and that we had everything we needed. John, the manager and the other sales rep were all friendly and professional. I’d feel very comfortable doing business with them again or recommending them to friends. It was completely the opposite of the experience I had with the Verizon corporate store on Howe Ave.

I only even dealt with this store for a 5min phone call and I was sooooo agitated that i had to write a Unilocal review! o_o The gentlemen I spoke with was completely dismissive of every question I asked, rude, frankly annoying, and just made me want to break my phone simply to end the call. For example, I call and say that I’m looking for certain specs in a phone. He says sure. I tell him what they are, and he goes off on a spiel about how I’m using the inappropriate tech jargon, and NOT moving on to answering my actual question. When I can finally get a word in, he goes on to talk over me like he knows all and I should just listen to the mighty OZ. I’m thinking, dude, I just wanted to know if you have GSM Androids… O_o chill. eventually I literally just say, «Alrighty» Jim Carey style and hung up –_-!, lol slightly angered, and wondering wth just happened to the last 5mins of my life. Riiidiculous.

Looking for a cell phone? Good customer service? Well don’t look here!!! I went to buy an iphone but they convinced me to buy the ‘wonderful Droid Charge’. Within days this phone was dropping calls, I brought it back in where they promptly did a system reboot. The phone worked for another week when it started to freeze up and again drop calls. I brought it in again this time wanting to exchange it for the iphone. David pompously informed me that it was one day too late. Even though I brought it in earlier the ‘guidelines’ don’t allow phones to be returned after 14 days even for a good faith exchange. Oops I guess I didn’t read the sign at the end of the counter. I of course asked to speak to the manager who was off so then I asked to speak to his supervisor. David called«Jesse» who wouldn’t speak to me but told David that he could exchange it for another Droid Charge but I would be charged a restocking fee. I again asked to speak to Jesse. David let me call him and Jesse stated I could exchange the phone for an iphone but I needed to bring in the box inserts. I went home got the box inserts and brought it all back within an hour. Then as I am returning the phone David starts slowly polishing the phone. Here is where it gets from bad customer service to pathetic theft. When I purchased the phone, I also purchased the hard case which the store manager put on the phone before I left the store. David took the hard case off and stated there were«scratches» so there would be an additional charge of $ 110 for the restocking and ‘damage’. They needed it to be perfect to resell. resell? The phone was defective. they are now reselling defective phones? Now it is all making sense. The store assistant manager, Bryan, got involved and at first didn’t see the ‘scratches’, but then miraculously saw them… as they snickered behind the counter. When all was said and done I paid a ‘fee’ of $ 80 to get out of the store. The insulting and rude service is amazing in this day and age of choices, please AVOID this company.

Had a dispute with Diamond Wireless. In addition to deducting $ 35 from my refund for a restocking fee(which I expected and did not say anything about) they also deducted $ 25 for a «damaged box.» They sent me a photo of the damaged Fed Ex box, but when I asked for a photo of the actual phone box damage I never heard anything back. Seems like a way of taking advantage of a customer to me, since they never proved that the returned phone box was damaged at all. I called the manager and he basically said, yeah, you should have packed it better. Nice.
