I’ve dined here for lunch and ordered their Super Nachos with carnitas. They don’t mess around with the serving size. I could not finish the entire damn thing! They also have complimentary chips and salsa! If you have a serious appetite or even just want good Mexican food, give them a try. They got a great friendly staff here too! Check them out

My usual is the one item combination plate with the tamale. All the chips and superb salsa I can eat. At just $ 5.50 it is a good value. All food I have tried here is very good. Lots of booths make finding a good seat easy.

This review is for the breakfast burrito. I came here before work one day. They have a selection of bacon and egg, machaca, ranchero, and chorizo and egg breakfast burritos… for only $ 4!!! The set up at Don Quixote is similar to that of Chipotle, in the sense that you can choose whatever ingredients you want in your burrito. I had the machaca burrito with black beans, and it was decent and filling. This is a great deal if you want a cheap breakfast that isn’t a fast food place, like McDonald’s. There is also a salsa bar and free chips. I would go back to this place for the quick service and the cheap price. The restaurant looks clean, and there is a good amount of seating. Taste-wise, I can’t say that this place is anything out of the ordinary. I would say it is on par with Chipotle. I would be willing to come back to try other items on their menu though!

I live nearby and am a regular customer. I highly recommend the shrimp burrito. They cook the shrimp to order and they are always generous with the portions. I recently came in just before closing time and ordered food to go for my whole family. The staff were super nice and accommodating even though they had already cleaned up for the night. Thank you Don Quixotes for great service.

The friendly staff at Don Quixote’s serve up your favorite Mexican fare in a flash! The food is consistently tasty, and made fresh to your liking. Our favorites include the nachos and the tamales. I don’t usually like tamales, but theirs are wonderful. The nachos are also a deal at less than $ 10 and are big enough to feed 2 – 3 people. They also have a self service chips and salsa bar with a wonderful variety of salsas to curb your hunger while the staff puts the finishing touches on your fiesta. Stop in and give Don Quixote’s a shot next time you are passing thru Arden Town, you won’t be disappointed!

The fish tacos were amazing! I got them grilled and I was surprised at how light, and perfect it tasted. The size is appropriate for its price but the taste was just right. I don’t like things that are overly seasoned, since it upsets my stomach and this was the food for me on that hunger turn. The vegan burrito too! Tastes just as good as it would if it had meat. My food was fresh, just like I how want them. So I’m giving this one five stars. Definitely will come back for more«cheat days»!

Never coming back. Don’t let the good reviews fool you, they do not give two shits about their food. I paid 20 $ for one burrito and four tacos, tacos that weren’t even what I asked for. The meat in both tasted like it had been out for a while and I couldn’t even finish. It made my girlfriend sick. We called the place back and they hung up on us? So we had to drive there and they were upset with us for them giving us old food? To substitute they gave us beans and white rice, definitely not 20 $ worth more like 5. Avoid.

Excellent food, and its made in 2 minutes! This should be called«Subway: Mexico Edition» because it’s just like subway. I got a burrito, and it was the best burrito I have ever had. I definitely recommend and will be coming again.

Stopped in for lunch today with my husband and we were very impressed. The fish tacos, grilled or fried were excellent and huge. Very delicious and the salsa bar was very, very good. It was a really spacious, clean place. The bathrooms were very clean,(important to me!) and the staff was happy and friendly. I recommended it to friends already and will go there again.

The Don is always the stand by around my house, whenever we can’t decide where to eat it’s where we go, great food, decent prices, and a friendly staff. There have been a few mix ups over the years but the are quick to fix them and make up for them, not one complaint from me love this place!

Good service, everything looked and tasted fresh. First time here and it won’t be my last, really picky with Mexican food but this place is the bomb! I loved the supreme nachos and chile relleños and the customer service was good. 5 stars all the way!

It’s not outstanding by any means. Think Chevy’s or On The Border only smaller and in a crummy location and no bar. It was worth a try and if I’m near I may drop in again.

I’ve been here a few times in the past but I decided to return today because a few days ago I saw the sign stating that today would be their anniversary and that they were having a special sale on tacos for $ 1. I got there at about noon and there was a line going just outside the door. It seemed to move fast enough. I don’t recall it taking more than 10 mins for me to place my order. So they heat up some small flour tortillas and let you have any choice of meats to put in your tacos. I chose 2 carnitas and 2 carne asadas. The meats looked like they lacked color. Moving down the line, they put lettuce, and you get to add things like onions & cilantro(which I did). I also got cheese. They put pico de gallo salsa and some white sauce. His sauce dispenser wasn’t working too well so I didn’t get much sauce on each taco. I went to the salsa bar and got tortilla chips and some more pico de gallo salsa. I also got limes. Unfortunately, there was nothing I could add to make my tacos taste better. It’s just that the meats were not even warm and lacked any flavor. I’ve tasted better cheaper tacos at D@l Taco and T@co Bell. So if you missed coming in today for the cheap tacos, don’t fret. You really didn’t miss anything.

Don Q’s is about a block from work, and my friend and co– worker and l eat here about once a week. We only get 30 minutes for lunch, but since Don’s service is so fast, it allows us plenty of time to enjoy a deliciousmeal. We love the fresh ingredients and the friendly staff. The food is delicious! Highly recommended by a couple of «foodies…

It’s nearby at our place and the hubby is a big fan of Mexican food. Big serving. It was ok. Nothing special. Not the authentic Mexican taste.

3.5STARS! The BF and I had a hankering for Mexican food, Unilocaled surrounding restaurants, and stumbled across this one. The inside is pretty large(no TV, surprisingly) and had a trickling flow of customers for lunch. I ordered their double item combo plate($ 9.00. Your choice of beans and rice) — one grilled and one deep fried fish taco. Both were tasty and offered fresh ingredients. The BF ordered carne asada super nachos($ 7.00), he was happy. Why 3.5 stars and not 4? All of our food was lukewarm. :(Even the chips at the chip and salsa bar were cold and stale. Loved the pico de gallo though! On a positive note, the staff were nice and seemed very hygienic. I watched the cook continuously change his gloves while prepping and handling food. If in the area, I’d return. :)

Solidly good food and very nice service makes this Don Quixote’s a great spot for lunch or a casual dinner. The set-up is pretty straightforward, easy parking, service in the center, line forms to the left(seriously popular for the lunch hour). Modern southwest décor with booth and individual seating were welcoming. Surfaces seemed a little grimy though. Bachatas and other spanish-language music softly set a nice background to the meal. I was seriously confused when ordering. I wanted rice and beans, but ordered my taco a-la-carte. I got to checkout and had to go back. The ladies were very accommodating and understanding. Pretty good food with bright/fresh flavors were nice. My chicken taco had tons of quality meat and generous lettuce and pico(no cheese for me). Rice and black beans were pretty standard. I recommend heading over to Don Quixote’s for your next lunch out, a solid performer with great, friendly staff.
