The extra crispy Shrimp tacos with the fresh jalapenos is awesome.

This Jimboys has been around South Sac for a long time. I’ve been coming back to this spot ever since I was a kid when it was at the original location like 100 ft away. The go to here are the tacos. They are made to order, fried and dusted with parm cheese. Inside is just cheese, lettuce and beef. They can get pretty greasy but thats the sign of goodness inside, right? The burritos are also great because they grill the outside crispy. That extra step really makes a huge difference. I suggest walking in because the drive thru is quite a wait.

I came here 15 mins ago and they were closed but clearly online it says they close at 1100. I guess they wanted to close early. It was weird because I seen 3 cars there but no one was visual inside. I went to another one I guess they do close at before 11 …

meat was ok. rice was old and hard. their ground beef taco was good though. that’s about it. and their salsa taste like it was from a can(not fresh) & to top it off it was pricey. If you are around here, go to another restaurant. would not recommend unless all you want is greasy tacos.

I LOVEJIMBOYS! Growing up in Sacramento, Jimboys is a must have staple! As an adult living in the Bay Area — EVERYTIME I come to Sac, I have to go to Jimboys!!!

The food is SO nasty. I have never had Jimboys before and my Fiancé wanted to try it. I figured it would be just like taco bell… we ordered a variety of things and honestly every item was disgusting. Will never be going back… if you want fast mexican food Taco Bell is your best bet

This location is awesome. It’s always clean… the food is always the same… and the girls who work the night shift may be the best crew of any restaurant in all of Sacramento !! Seriously, they are awesome ! Only complaint… get rid of the 50’s music. It’s. Mexican restaurant not a malt shop !!

Love Jimboys! Having relocated from CA and missing these tacos, it is always a treat to stop by whenever I’m in the area! Those addictive parmesan covered taco shells and the deliciousness they hold. yes, please. Stopped at this particular location off of Franklin Blvd while on a road trip and had a pleasant experience. Employees were very nice and the food was worth the short wait. You can get a token from the cashier if you have to use the restroom. I forgot about that, but it was a welcome memory and I really wish other places did this as well, just to control the cleanliness of their restrooms. Thanks guys!

I love this jimboys! It’s difficult to get to with such a busy intersection but I love the food! And the people there are really friendly! They always seem to remember me and try to get my order right!

I give them a 5 star based on the quality of food and the inside being soo clean! Deff a upgrade from the older spot by far! I actually go inside to eat vs before i wouldnt even dare! The staff do seem like they would rather be anywhere but there but then again every time ive been here there is always the homeless & Druggies asking for water or the bathroom and trying to hang out the ladies do there job by being nice but letting them know they cant stay, i can imagine what they go through every day in that location so i get it! Its all about u too, Be kind smile, hey hows ur day and ur food is better then perfect. Ijs! thank u to the ladies who work here holding this place down! One of my fav jimboys :)

We have been to this location several times and always go for the tacos. Something addictive about parmesan coated tortilla shells and gooey goodness on the inside. The problem with this location is that quality is hit or miss. Sometimes the tacos seem to be just dripping with oil and the fillings scanty. Other times they hit the mark. Service is often times not the greatest here as if the staff would rather be anywhere than there. Since we usually only go through their drive-thru and go somewhere else to eat(i.e. the park, home, etc), our only interactions are with the sometimes surly or downright depressed drive-thru staff. Again hit and miss! We finally just stopped coming to this location and opted for one of two other choices within a reasonable driving distance when we have a hankering for Jimboys’ take on tacos.

Don’t do it. This is by far the worst jimboys location I’ve come across. I usually love jimboys but the tacos at this place are always soggy. Please make crispier tacos!

This is probably one if the WORST locations to go for jimboys. Had to wait in the drive thur for about 20 mins. The people ahead of us in line ended up driving away without paying and without their food. When i finally pulled up the the window i asked for a free guacamole since I had been waiting for so long and the lady tried to act like she couldn’t understand what we were asking for. I don’t recommend this location at all! Don’t waste your time!!!

Went here at 10:05pm and according to Unilocal they are open until 11pm. There were people in there but no one running the drive thru. They need to update their hours on Unilocal

My friend kept telling me how great this place was. I was ready for some really great Mexican fast food. I was so disappointed! The service was lacking. They had one person covering both the drive through and the front counter. Took about 15 minutes for our food to come out. The horchata was watered down and lacked any flavor, the beans had no seasoning, rice was dry, the asada was oily, chicken taco was salty, and there was hardly any meat in my sons super burrito. I will probably give another location a try before I totally write this company off.

Drive thru service sucks but the food makes up for it. The carnitas and poppers are really good!

I was stuck in the drive thru with an angry truck in front of me and three angry feuding cars behind. 15 mins go by and no one gets that they closed. Its 9:40pm and tho I called to confirm that they closed at 10 pm prior to driving my az there. They refused everyone. Never going there again!

Closed at ten even though the hours said 11. I wanted a taco! Another car behind me too. Losing business on a Saturday night.

This is my favorite Jimboy’s location. The food is consistently well-prepared and fresh, and we never have to wait very long. Always get the fish tacos, but my husband recently has started to get the bean taco and cheese enchiladas. The bean taco is best eaten ASAP, but those enchiladas are really good!

I’m a seafood lover, so when I’m craving it — I rarely hold back. I was in the mood for some fish tacos when we decided to go over to Jimboy’s. I couldn’t decide between the fried fish tacos and the shrimp diablo tacos, so I went with one of each. I never get shrimp tacos, because so often there are hardly any shrimp or they are the tiny — but these were pretty damn good. I hardly ever get fast food seafood, but I know the quality is good at this Jimboy’s location so I will keep coming back here when I’m in Sacramento.
