7 years ago Lino fixed my IT band problem. Today he helped me once again. I highly recommend his services!

Visited for some pain on the knee that my daughter was experiencing. He saw her at most 5 minutes and said she was good to go. He recommended new gear, so I Inmediately bought them. After couple of weeks and pain not going away, I went back. This time he said it was something else. Again, a very short appointment and $ 95 later nothing got better. I called next day and he wanted me to go back. I asked him if I had to pay the full rate again since she was not getting any better. He inmediately changed his attitude and asked me to go elsewhere. I think he’s not professional at all and his main priority is money and not the patient. Never going back.

In, out and pain free in 15 minutes. I had sciatic and lower back pain for about 2 months, and I refused to go to a doctor. I figured that they would tell me to sit up straight and rest, which I can find out all by myself. A friend referred me to Lino, and I waited another month to see if it would get better on its own. But it didn’t. So I broke down and went to Lino to see what a somatic therapist does. It was awesome! He fixed me! I told him the problem, he put pressure in a couple points, I think he popped something into place in my hip, and I was suddenly pain free. He showed me a stretch to work on that area and gave me some tips to prevent the injury from recurring. Best $ 95 I’ve spent in a long time. Thank you.

Cannot express how much I appreciate Lino’s commitment to healing others. I have been dealing with an inflamed tendon in my ankle for almost 2 years, going back to Kaiser many times to be told to stay off my foot and wear an e-​boot. For an active individual this is a very frustrating treatment plan, and was not working.
I finally went to Lino to see if he could help, and he sure did! I was getting treated by my Dr for the inflammation of the tendon, but Lino quickly determined why the tendon was being strained, made some manipulations to my foot and felt immediate release.
I have been back for several appointments as I want to ensure I was fully recovered before I started running, and today I ran for the 1^st time in almost 2 years, pain free!
He is very honest, knowledgeable, and provides you with as much details as you want about your condition, treatment and how to keep healing.
He will reply to emails quickly and is pretty easy to get an appointment with.
I would highly suggest visiting Lino at Kinections if you have any chronic pain you’ve been trying to heal the traditional methods with no results. Life is too short to be in pain!

Once again, I came in with that same hip flexor locked up, only this time, it was so painful, and had been going on so long, I was almost unable to get out of my car. But I finally came to my senses and went in to Kinections, where I received the same type of care from Lino that I received the last few times (this happens about once a year), which is a combination of palpating the muscle, and applying pressure and manipulations that honestly just work. I wish I could explain it better, but he really understands these muscles so well, and can instantly identify what I’m doing that can aggravate it. He is quite brisk, and is always multitasking, but because the results are there, these minor annoyances are easy to get past. I love recommending Lino, but have noticed in recent years I don’t have to – nearly everyone in Sacramento, it seems, knows and loves Lino. Of course I hope I don’t see him again (because that means I’m in pain), but I know he’ll «fix» me if I get locked up again.

I’m the last person in my family to see Lino Cedros at Kinections. He treated me for a sciatic nerve issue (aching butt, tingling foot, etc). In one session he 1) figured out why my problem was happening; 2) gave me some immediate relief; and 3) set up a self-​administered PT/​stretching routine which completely solved my problem within about 2 weeks. He knows more about anatomy and physical dynamics than anyone I know… and that includes my father, who is a physician. He is well worth seeing for anyone with a chronic or acute ache or pain, especially of the sports-​induced variety. He’s by far the best at what he does, in my experience.

Lino is AMAZING! If you need a fix and stretch go see Lino. He knows his stuff and knows which muscles need to be focused on for each sport. As a distance runner who puts a lot of impact on my hips legs and back, I always head to Lino when something isn’t feeling right and he finds what is wrong and makes it all better.

AMAZING! Lino has the incredible ability to identify the sources of pain and address the cause of the problem, thus clearing the symptoms, and then he instructs you on how to avoid the problem in the future. The man is a genius. Once I went in to see him on crutches and walked out after a short appointment!
I have been going to Kinections off and on for about 10 years and have relied on him to help me continue my active lifestyle despite a head on car accident on the freeway and several other potentially life altering incidents.

While training for my first half marathon, I acquired the dreaded Illiotibial Band syndrome. The closest way to describe what this feels like is: well, thinking back to my carnivorous days… you know when you’re cutting up chicken and you put the knife tip in between the thigh and the drumstick joints to separate the two? This was absolutely some of the worst pain I’ve had in my entire life. A knife in the knee can be unbelievably unpleasant. I could barely walk. Bust out the Vicodin and ice… ugh…

, I went to see Lino. This guy is incredibly gifted. He seems to have a sixth sense of what the body needs. He warned me that the treatment was «going to bite» (it most certainly did!), but I’ll be damned if he didn’t fix me! I had a huge bruise for a few weeks, but I ran that race without issue. Incredible. A Slug’s goal is to finish uninjured. Lino helped me achieve that goal. That race was very important to me and I will always be grateful. Am training for my next event and am relieved to know that if I run into trouble, Lino can help!
I would recommend Lino to anyone who is having any kind of physical ailments. He works on issues other than sports oriented and I could not have done that race without him! Thanks, Lino!

Thanks again Unilocal !! Had I not seen this place on Unilocal and went in for a visit, I’d still be in pain and unable to play tennis (my passion).
As the other reviewers point out, Lino is amazing! He can truly pinpoint your problem usually in seconds and heal it within minutes! Of course everyone’s situation may vary, but my experience was about as good as I could have ever imagined.
Before I went in to see him, my arm hurt so much I could barely lift up my cell phone without screaming in pain from the pain in my arm. This injury kept me from playing tennis for 3+ weeks and I was told by two physical therapists to stay off tennis for at least 3 – 6 more weeks. NO WAY — there must be another way I thought to myself. So I Unilocaled «sports therapy» in Sacramento and thank God Kinections came up!
After 10 minutes with Lino I can honestly say that I was already 85% better. Later in the day my arm loosened up further and now on day 2 I feel 90%. After my short session Lino casually asked, so when are you going to play tennis again? I shrugged (as though I needed that answer from him), but hesitantly said. «uh… I’d love to play TODAY». Okay then he said, just be sure to ice afterwards and you’re good to go !! WOW !! This after being told by numerous other professionals to lay off for 3 – 6 weeks !!! Then the final test… Pick up a racket again and try to hit the tennis ball again without excruciating pain… YES!!! The proof was in the pudding. Just earlier that day I could not lift my cell phone, let alone a tennis racket, and here it was just a few short hours later that day and I am back on the court playing tennis like a champ! THANK YOU AGAIN LINO !!! Amazing, that’s all I can say!

Seems like Lino @ Kinections has one, blanket method for «fixing» everything: suggesting cortisone shots and placing extremely hard (to the point of tears) pressure on your muscles or tendons with his fingers. He is not a good listener, nor can he be when he is running between 4 clients at the same time. He doesn’t see you for the entire 30 minute session and the cost is $ 75 per visit. He’s also quite arrogant and I believe his attitude along with seeing multiple clients at once, lead to poor customer service and mis-​informed conclusions to your problem on his behalf. Save your money (and further pain) and go to a reputable sports medicine doctor or a physical therapist who is educated as one. His advice was very off the mark for me. I would not recommend this place or at least say ‘buyer beware’.

Two very athletic friends (who run, bike, climb and swim) recommended Lino at Kinections to me when my back went out recently. He saw me on very short notice the day after Christmas (today), first thing in the morning, and was able to diagnose my problem almost just by looking at the way I was limping. He saw that I had locked my hip flexor & with just 15 minutes of palpating, vigorous massage and several excercises to loosen up the muscles and tendons was able to fix the problem 100%.
I had been almost immobile — and in lots of pain — for four days, and he fixed it almost instantly. Obviously everyone has different types of problems and yours may be more difficult to diagnose and fix than mine was, but I’ve NEVER been to a health professional who was able to figure out the problem and fix it — quickly and painlessly — before.
He even adjusted my car seat later to make sure my posture was good, to keep the problem from returning.
I can’t say enough good things about this guy and this shop. And at $ 65 per session, they’re far less expensive than many other health professionals. Should I EVER need sports medicine /​phys therapy again, I’d go here in a heartbeat.
