Noah’s Bagels

Best bagels in town. Super busy between 8 and 830 expect to wait a good 15 mins for your order. But still worth the wait

I always go to Noah’s Bagel but lately I have been getting burnt bagels. They are very good but I don’t like eating a burnt bagel. Hopefully next time it wont be burnt, this is the second time it happens. I also got bagels for my coworkers and they came out the same.

Quick service, friendly, fast. No complaints. Bought my bagels and shmear and headed out. Easy. Bagels are good and consistent between locations. Would go back for bagels if I needed some.

We decided we would no longer go to our normal Bagel spot (east sac bagel) because we got tired of the rude service. We ventured over to noah and experienced such refreshing service. The staff was so nice. We had a very large order and David our cashier was so helpful. We will be back!

My undying love for Noah’s Bagels. It started once upon a time, when I was still living in San Francisco and the closest Noah’s was literally down the street from me! I would go in and buy a bagel with a side of spread as an after school snack. Ever since, this was my favorite treat! After moving to Sacramento, there’s only 2 Noah’s I’d visit. This one and the one on Fulton. Sorry, Panera, you don’t make the cut!

I often stop on to pick up a dozen of my favorite bagels and share them at work. This morning was no different, I had a great experience as always but felt compelled to say thank you to the two male employees work this morning of 3−9−16. They were extremely friendly, got me a dozen bagels, a toasted one for myself and a coffee in 5 minutes! Thank you for starting off my day so smooth.

I love Noah’s bagel, however today was not the best experience. They ran out of pretty much 70% of all the bagels by 11:00. I wanted my bagel toasted with cream cheese. My bagel was cold when I got it and felt under toasted. So disappointing.
Also I’m not sure why we need to go to 2 counters, one counter to order, second counter to pay. It would be faster if you can order and pay at the same counter. It would reduce wait time for customers.

Noah’s bagels are the best ever. I love the bite and the chewiness. We buy a dozen every week. They run out of flavors often — but I’d rather this happen then having them waste bagels… I’m happy with whatever kind they have if they don’t have my favorites. I noticed people are pretty harsh w their comments. We come here 2 – 4 times a week w little kids and everyone is always nice — and helpful — and patient. All those complainers should really just get over their self-​importance and lighten up.

Noah’s Bagels was bustling on a Sunday morning. I was disappointed that they were out of two specialty bagels and schmears right off the bat. I readjusted my order and got the bagel and lox sandwich with chive cream cheese and a large coffee.
The sandwich was decent, but everything seemed to lack in bold flavors — sort of a bland bite. The coffee was terrible, some sort of flavored cinnamon-​y type coffee. Maybe their coffee doesn’t have to hold up because customers can go immediately next door to get Starbucks. The service was also okay, nothing special.
I would return for the convenience of the location to a place I have meetings, but if I have more time, there is another bagel shop in Sacramento that I like much better.

The feng shui flow problem in the store is absolutely awful. After you proceed down the line selecting your items and then continuing to the end to pay for it, you actually have to circle back around through the incoming line to get your coffee and then pick up your completed bagels. It’s a juxtapositional nightmare. It’s as if the store is designed for very limited customers. They don’t desire to have the system for higher volume which would seem counterintuitive for financial success.
The cinnamon and spice accented winter flavored coffee was very good and the gourmet bread choices are great. I would like to see more flavors of smear, not reduced fat. Reduced fat has been debunked and is so nineties. Try wholesome, organic, real foods.

Been here twice and my only complaint was that 1 day they were pretty much out of all bagel choices by 11am, but that wasn’t the case the second day.
Businesses are allowed to run behind and slow people.. Geez.

I’ve gone to this location a handful of times with no problems, but this morning was pretty bad. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, went next door to get coffee, came back and waited an usually long time for a single bagel. When I asked someone at the counter if I had missed my name called, she was pretty short with me and let me know it was coming. About five minutes after that (15 minutes after I had ordered the bagel), another employee informed me that they had run out of the bagel I had ordered. The flavor of the bagel isn’t the problem, but waiting 15 minutes to let a customer know their bagel isn’t even available is ridiculous. This is especially frustrating when other customers are handed their food before they even get to the cashier to pay. I wouldn’t be happy with that if I were at a sit-​down restaurant, so dealing with that at a bagel shop is definitely not cool. Hopefully they get a better system so they don’t sell two people the same bagel in the window anymore. They should also consider not waiting 15+ minutes to let the customer know. If you come here, be prepared to wait longer than you would normally wait for a bagel.
The bright side is that the bagels taste fine, and the man with the long hair is always very pleasant.

Not much of a choice for bagels in Sacramento, but this will do. However, and that’s a big HOWEVER… service is painfully slow. I’ve had to re-​up the parking meter at one time. Another thing is that this place seems to run out of bagels. Once, I arrived at 7:30am on a weekday and half of their bagels were gone. The man with the eyeglasses at the cashier saves them from a 1-​star review.

The service and wait time here was painfully slow during my first and probably last visit. The fact that I had to step outside to re-​up my 15 minute meter should give you some idea. With seven employees behind the counter and only four other customers in the place on a Friday morning, the wait time for a simple bagel breakfast sandwich was unacceptable.
Despite the «New York» in their name, Noah’s bagels are hardly authentic. But when your bagel options are as limited as Sacramento, you take what you can get, and Noah’s does have some decent options for a large-​scale chain. My asiago, turkey sausage and cheddar breakfast sandwich was quite tasty and warm. I only wish it took less that 20 minutes to get it.

Came here on a Saturday around 11:30 with my boyfriend because we were going to a sample sale nearby. We were lucky to find street parking but we had to feed the meter. My boyfriend has never been to a Noah’s before and I haven’t had anything other than a bagel with cream cheese so we both decided to try a sandwich type bagel.
I ordered a breakfast bagel with eggs, spinach, and mushroom. The worker asked me what bagel I wanted and when I said onion he said they were out. All they had left was wheat, cinnamon raisin, and something else sweet. Umm I guess wheat it is. Kinda disappointed that they ran out of everything so soon in the day. You would think they’d be prepared. Once you order you have to walk down to the other register to pay. Weird.
My boyfriend got a chicken sandwich thing on a wheat bagel. It came with a choice of chips or potato salad — he chose potato salad.
I waited outside at a table and my boyfriend waited about 5 – 10 minutes for our food inside. It was packaged to go even though we never said to go. Everyone else sitting outside got their food for dine in.
My bagel was slightly burnt and dry. It needed cream cheese. My boyfriends bagel had too much cream cheese so we switched bagel tops. He also wasn’t expecting the sandwich to have cream cheese.
The potato salad was more mush than potato.
While sitting outside we tried to enjoy our lunch, then a loud man on a bike tried to talk to us and everyone outside about donating to loaves and fishes. Uhh.
Overall not an enjoyable meal or experience. Food was overpriced for the bland taste. Would not return.

MMMM BAGELS. I seriously have an addiction and these are my go to hangover cure. I don’t know what it is but the employees at all the Noah’s I’ve been to are kinda rude? But I don’t really care because the bagels are delish.

Had a really good experience here.
In short, ordered a pretzel bagel with lox and all the fixings…
Wanted more shmear (chive cream cheese) but they forgot my tomato. Not only did they doctor up my sandwich but they gave my husband a free coffee cake because they felt bad (totally not necessary).
Everything was AMAZING and the bagels were true to what you get at Essa Bagel in NYC.

I came by today on a Monday around 7 a.m. to pick up half a dozen bagels for work and get breakfast for myself.
Metered parking doesn’t start until 8 a.m., so if you are swinging by before then, you don’t have to worry about paying for parking.
It costs $ 8.99 for ½ dozen bagel box and one tub of cream cheese. Really not a bad deal and I think my co-​workers will be impressed that the bagels are from here rather than the grocery store.
I also got a Spinach, Mushroom & Swiss bagel for $ 4.99 which was less of a deal, but nothing I would call overpriced. It tasted pretty good too.
I would come back the next time I want to pick up food for my co-​workers, but don’t really plan on coming back other than for that reason alone.

We were in the mood for bagels and Noah’s had great reviews, and well deserved! I got the Nova Lox which was excellent! Their coffee is also excellent, they have 4 different blends, all named after NYC neighborhoods which was a neat twist! A little pricey, but so are all bagel shops.
The staff was pleasant for the most part — we will be back!

They do have some pretty good bagels here. They are fresh and have a nice crunchy bite but still soft inside. Cream cheese is good, and the coffee was ok. They did have some cool travel mugs.
