Wow that is a great cheese steak. Jerry and his staff do a great job. And don’t forget to try the garlic fries.

Terrible experience I’ve never had such poor customer service I was not satisfied with the size of the original Philly cheese steak. It looked nothing like what they advertised on their menu board. The price would have been worth it if the mass of the sandwich was 10 times bigger. It was more of the size of a hotdog wrapped in foil that you get at the corner store. We spent $ 17 for 2 sandwiches and a large fry with the large drink and the fry wasn’t even a proportionate to be considered a large fry. It was only eatable for one person. The owner refused to give us our money back because he said that he can not help that it didn’t look like how we expected. He was so rude and did not care to satisfy our needs as being customers. The name of the store is called fatty Jerry’S Phillies but the only thing that was fat was him. Like he was the one who at all the fat sandwiches and gave his customers the leftovers. Rude disrespectful terrible customer service. Greedy and selfish fat owner. Very disrespectful I don’t recommend anyone to ever Go there. Its not worth the money. He is an ass hole.

Unprofessional, unsanitary, lousy food, piss poor customer service. The smell inside is like the surrounding area the gutter. you’re better off throwing your money out the window. The food is not fresh that’s for sure. zero stars

Probably the best cheesesteak I have ever had in my life! The food is amazing here. It is a small business with a small business feel. Not a lot of seating for the lunch crowd but well worth the money.

I’m from Boston mass. So imagine my surprise when I come across an authentic Philly cheesesteak place, here in Sacramento. For sometime now, I’d had this desire to taste something of home. And nothing says Boston like a cold root bear and ex large Cheesesteak. I even got a change to speak with the owner. Who by the way is a nice guy! When I called his store, and told him I had just had knee replacement surgery two weeks ago, and couldn’t leave by car. He brings and order out to car for me. Now that’s services!!! Oh yes! The Cheesesteak was excellent. Signed, WAG,

The taste is amazing, however you may order a 10′ & get a 7′… They told me it’s about the amount of food inside so I don’t know why they even advertise inches!

The inside was very clean. You can watch them make your sandwhich while you wait. The portion was good for the price. Sandwhiches where phenominal! I will def be back for lunch again soon.

Stopped by to get some grub, I ordered the 15″ Philly and super Philly with fries. The service was good and quick. The sandwiches where a little to oilly and packed with jalapenos. So i couldn’t really enjoy the sandwhich. The fries where good though lol.

The Super Philly Cheesesteak is the best! Perfect amount of meat and cheese, and a good amount of peppers. For a small fast-casual restaurant, the customer service is very good and they even check on you. Can’t wait to go back the next time I have a craving for cheesesteaks. I only wish that they were closer to where I live.

Overall great local cheesteaks. Place has a fun personality and the people here are fun and friendly. We had both the ‘BBQ’ and ‘The Original’ 15″ phillies. As well as an order of twister fries and an order of garlic fries. Overall it was slightly over priced but tasty and will be a place I will visit again in the future. Below are the per item detailed reviews. THEPHILLIES — Were made fresh and were tasty. I will advise that the peppers are hot. So those of you who like a milder Philly should stick to the onions only option. Also the original is great with their liquid cheese. Though not as good as in actual Philly where cheese Wiz is used. The 15″ was a bit under stuffed seeming the only increase in ingredients was the bread length. The BBQ Philly was today’s big winner with a bold sweet bbq flavor complimented with a smooth and melted provolone. Both subs were served on a fresh Italian corn meal baked roll.(Recommend no peppers unless you like ‘em SPICY!) GARLICFRIES — The garlic fries were found wanting. Previously frozen steak fries with a tablespoon or so of pesto, butter and minced garlic failed to impress. And I would not recommend. TWISTERFRIES– The twister fries were your clasic curly fries and we’re good. Though the portions for the $ 3.99 large seemed a bit small. MR.PIBBLOVERSREJOICE! I do like that this is one of a few quickly diminishing locations where you can get Pibb Xtra on tap which was an added bonus . RECOMMENDATIONFORTHEOWNER(S) — Your making killer phillies. But to make them authentic get rid of the canned nacho cheese and bring in the cheez-wiz. Also you gotta butter and grill the buns. Then you’ll have the perfect Philly! As far as the sides. You can do better and it would be cheaper! Use fresh potatoes for your fries. And you have nacho cheese for the Phillies and bacon so boom fresh bacon cheddar fries. Thin slice the potatoes and make some homemade chips instead of the subway concept of lays! You guys have the potential to be one of the best spots in Sacramento but you gotta work it away from the cheap easy just a little more. 3 of 5 stars overall. Enjoyed enough for a return visit.

Awesome service, the owner is real personable. His only negative is his choice in a football team. The food is hot tasty and hits the spot everytime. I live in Natomas and drove in the rain just to get a philly! Ill be a long time customer. Go Raiders!!!#

Had to try this place after hearing the guys brag about it. Sampled the chicken and Steak Phillies with some garlic fries. Slightly toasted bun but soft on the inside made it the perfect vessel for the deliciously prepared meat and sautéed onions n peppers. The creamy melted cheese knocked my boots off! Garlic Fries were amazeballz! In house prepared garlic sauce topped steak cut fries. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m visiting Sac

Good traditional cheesesteaks, loaded up, and delicious. Solid choice for lunch when you are hungry! No fuss, no frills, just a great sandwich.

So I love a good Philly, however most places that serve them don’t have very good ingredients so you end up with bland dry steak sandwiches. A friend told me about Jerry’s and I must say it is maybe the best Philly I have had. High quality ingredients, perfect bun.

I was pretty impressed. Good, fresh, hot made to order food, the owner is great, as well as his staff. Quick service and reasonably priced. On my wish list: 1). More/better parking 2). Later hours(lol) 3). And, more locations please… :-)

Tonight was my first time at phat jerrys. I called in my order and ordered a super Philly with onions no peppers and garlic fries. I walked in feeling stared at by all the workers in the kitchen. My total was $ 12 and change. I left tip, so it was $ 15.58. I get home, open it up, the fries smell like garlic! Holy garlic batman! Mmm. The mmm was diceving. Didn’t like the fries. :( The Philly… Like I said, I ordered the super Philly. Double meat and cheese. From looking at pictures here on Unilocal,if that’s double, whats in a normal? Didn’t seem like double. It was very tasty though! I’m stuffed! I may be back at some point.

That was one damn tasty cheesestake! I ordered the 10″ with everything and a side of onion rings. I’ll be moving up this way at the end of June and when I get that craving for a cheesesteak I’ll be back here. The service was really friendly and polite.
