After shopping at People’s supermarket, we decided to have brunch. Couldn’t resist and HAD to order meat. I don’t really eat Phở when I dine out, because I found that homemade Phở is always the best. I ordered the bbq three choice combination for around $ 16 dollars. It was good and fairly quick, because they just chopped up the meat from next door(the restaurant is connected to the hot food to go in People’s supermarket. My sister ordered the hot and sour soup(it was a generous portion) for around $ 5 – 6 dollars, and my other sister ordered the kungpao chicken(which had a large serving of veggies, which we didn’t mind). Overall, we ended up packing almost half of everything home, because we couldn’t finish it. Generous portions for a reasonable price. And the lady who served us was super duper friendly.

I’ve been here a few times now and it is SOSO good. I just love it! I find myself craving this place on cold rainy days too. I’ve found the service to be quick and friendly. The place is clean. The food portions are generous and really inexpensive. I’ve ordered the beef ball phở soup and also the thin sliced steak soup. Both are excellent. I also request the wide noodles for the soup as recommended by friends and also the waitress. I get the fresh shrimp spring rolls too and they’re always delicious — taste totally fresh. I don’t like the fish sauce on the side but that’s a very small complaint. I find the soup to be delicious and there are also so many condiments and garnishes provided to customize it how you want. I always throw in TONS of fresh basil, several wedges of lime juice, chili oil and I’m pretty liberal with the Sriracha as I like the soup as hot and spicy as I can handle it. Love this place. can’t wait to go back!

This is not the place for Phở. Their broth tasted like herbs from a Chinese herbal shop. It was more of a herbal soup than a regular phở broth taste. Both my husband and I tried the beef combination phở and chicken phở. I had a headache the following morning.

Here’s another little«hole in the wall» Vietnamese restaurant along Stockton Blvd., located in the middle of a small strip mall that includes a Chinese take out(Hong Kong Cuisine) next door which is directly connected to it. Next to that, is an Asian market, which is also connected to both of the restaurants. I’m assuming all three businesses are under the same ownership. Minimal chance of running out of food this way! My boyfriend brought me here for dinner after trying it out previously and had enjoyed the food. I ordered the Bun with shrimp and fried egg rolls on top. My food was pretty good, although my boyfriend ordered another dish which I forget the name of, and the waitress brought him the wrong plate. It took some time to get her attention about the mistake. She was nice and very apologetic, but we had to wait a longer amount of time before he could eat. Since I’m a slow eater it worked out OK in the end. Other customers that were present made a point of how much they enjoyed their food and prices. I would say this place is average in food, service and décor, but still worth a try when in the neighborhood.

I went to Phở Que for lunch and ended up having Bun Bo Xao. Phở Que is located next to the People’s Supermarket in the Far East Plaza. It has a nice clean atmosphere and plenty of comfortable seating. The Bun Bo Xao was not the best I have had. It could have used more mint and lemon grass and the meat could have been a little better but it was still pretty good. The Wizard says; Phở Que
