I truly miss living on 27th and D… I was a block away! Bill, the manager, and a few other folks who work here are always smiling and asking how your day/night is, and they mean it. Theyd even give me their Sunday paper when they were through with it. ATM, is a bit pricey– but hey, its there! They carry a few cigarettes most don’t like Nasty Nat Shermans, and Djarum… They sell singles, jiggers, personals– the works. Great wine and champagne selections as well– also, try the snacks. They have the green apple jolly ranchers.

They are overpriced for a lot of stuff, they charge(I believe) $ 1.50 for ATM now, and the tall blonde guy I encounter more often than not is not the friendliest guy ever. Oh, and to expand on what the details above indicate, they DONOT accept credit cards. You can use ATM/debit but you cannot use a credit card. I learned this the hard and embarrassing way. I have to actually have the money to booze myself up? Shit. So why do I like this place, you ask? Eight words: They sell singles and I’m a cheap date.

Lacking the testicular fortitude to wander to the tavern tonight I decided to drink my poison at home, my review: –1 for Prices which are higher than most places –1 for the 2.50ATM fee they charge. +1 for convenience so on and so forth: it’s convenient, and there’s nothing that matches it when I want to stay home and get drunk watching the house marathon. Does its job, no frills. Three whole stars.
