Never again. They get the order wrong just about every other time I ordered from here(which is, admittedly, not very frequently). The last time I ordered from here, the delivery driver(who, btw, looks like a prime candidate for the Megan’s law registry) lectured me on how to order. I’m sorry that I, the customer, do not know the name of your thickest crust — I do not get paid to know your menu — you, on the other hand, do. So when I specifically ask(several times) for your«thickest crust» and a thin crust arrives, it is improper to tell me it’s my fault for ordering incorrectly. What sealed the deal for me was this same genius telling me, and I quote: «don’t worry, they probably didn’t spit in your pizza.» I’ll take my pizza spit-free and not from here, thank you.

The staff here is really nice and accommodating! We came in for the lunch buffet and they made a vegetarian pizza just for me! Well… for everyone, but I was the only one eating it. Overall, they were really nice and we left totally stuffed and satisfied. Will be back!

They’re the best! I’m a New Years Baby, and it’s too cold to go out. A belly full of pizza deliciousness sounds perfect to ring in the new year with. mmmm! Calling my Neighborhood Round Table on 51st and Folsom, they always get my order perfect… but wait… its 10 min to closing is it too late? How tragic! But I gotta try and what happens? The nicest guy answers the phone takes my order, doesn’t even mention they’re about to close, and when I asked if too late, he was pleasant as could be reassuring me I had time! Tragedy averted Yay! And here’s hubby with that beautiful pie now!!! 2016 is already looking yummy!

I’d like to start off by saying that everything people say about the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is true. That being said… in my last 5 orders with this location they have been unable to fulfill my order correctly 5 times. I appreciate a willingness to correct one’s mistakes but there should at least be SOME effort to avoid mistakes in the first place which is why I’m rating this location so poorly. Time and time again they seem to just half-ass the order the first time through and won’t do it right until you correct them which is a huge issue in my book because I order pizza when I don’t have enough time to cook for myself but if I have to plan on standing around 20+ minutes for them to redo my order each time, that’s not saving me anything. Twice they’ve gotten my pizza partially or completely wrong, twice they’ve sold me products they didn’t have(don’t offer someone Mountain Dew over the phone if you don’t have it in the fridge directly behind you), and once they just completely forgot to fulfill my online order until I had actually arrived at the location. Each time they’ve always offered to fix the mistake and even offered me incentives, but I’ve only accepted a couple of times because it’s the principal of the matter that you should strive to get your orders correct on the first try. I could be a jerk and berate them into offering me a refund or free food every time but I don’t think that’s moral, nor do I think that’s worth my time being wasted. Again, ordering out pizza is from convenience, not necessity. This last time was actually a mix of two errors: 1) Sold me Mountain Dew they didn’t have and tried to just pawn off a substitute instead which I refused(last time the lady actually offered me a to-go cup of Mountain Dew along with my substituted Pepsi which was pretty absurd to me that in her mind that would«square» the issue of her selling me something she didn’t have). 2) They didn’t fulfill the part of my order that said I didn’t want mushrooms on my pizza. He tried to offer to remake it for me but what on earth makes him think that I ordered online for pick up because I had time to waste waiting for him to make my pizza AFTER I got there? Honestly, my experiences over the last few months is making me seriously reconsider the choice to go to them because their food quality is good and they’re conveniently close to my home. Pizza Hut is affordable, delivers to my location, and gets my order right every time. Chicago Fire also always gets my order right and their pizza is phenomenal. So I’ve pretty much got all of my needs fulfilled by them so I’m wondering why I even bother with the frustration of this business constantly wasting my time… It is honestly really tempting to give them a 1 star rating because of all the headache they’ve caused me, but I do value friendly and generally helpful staff so I guess I’ll give them some credit for that in the end.

Horrible customer service! I got the lunch buffet, and asked if i could request a certain pizza. They said no the couldn’t take requests, due to they cant accommodate everyone. I was the only customer. The two other customers that were there left shortly after I arrived. I get it if your busy. But why not make your one and only customer happy, and not make a pizza that i wont eat?

Came here tonight for dinner a beer and to watch the game! Ordered our pizza breadsticks and a salad bar. About 35 – 40 mins other we still had no pizza and there was hardly anyone here. So finally the staff came over to Us and Asked us what we ordered we knew then there was a problem. However, 5 stars for the amazing staff friendly and on top of it. We got our pizza in the next few minutes and we were refunded for our pizza all together and received many apologizes! They made up for it for sure! :)

yuck. I mean, OK, if your favorite flavors are salty and sweet. Good service, nice people, our pizza was delivered hot and fresh. But the cheese tastes like salt, the crust tastes like salt, and the pizza sauce tastes like sugar. My kids, who normally love pizza, wouldn’t eat it. Kinda pricey for such a basic and tasteless meal. Sorry Round Table, we won’t be coming back.

Round Table Pizza in general rates in my top three favorite type of pizza. There is a formula, you can walk into any Round Table and get the kind of pizza you would expect. So this rating is less about the pizza(which I love) and more about the people(who I now also love). I work in the East Sac/Tahoe Park area and I come to eat lunch at this particular location 3 – 6 times a month. Sometimes more. It is convenient, I can order a different variety of things(I don’t, but I could), and their wifi is always working. Let tell you about me — I am a particular type of a customer but nice. I order literally the same thing every time. I also love their salad bar breadsticks. These people remember my order, are always polite and never make me feel like the weirdo I know I am. In addition if there are no breadstick in salad bar they always make fresh ones. I come mostly during a lull, but have also been occasionally during peak lunch hours and the place is always clean. I have not had one bad customer service experience in the months I have been coming. In addition I have had no one bad food experience either. I just want to say kudos to the weekday crew, for being awesome.

Been here a few times. The staff is friendly, the food is made in good time and I always enjoy the food as well. They also have a good amount of space for seating for families. Nice sized plasma TVs.

I’m a pizza addict. I’ve very likely had over 100 large or extra large pizzas entirely to myself in the last 2 years. On and off I’ve been in recovery and lately I’ve been doing better than my darker days. My last slip was a few weeks ago and my 2nd to last slip was a few weeks before that. Still, it’s an improvement over once every other day. So anyway, after being more or less too busy to eat all day and having run out of food in the fridge I gave in to my baser desires. I went online like I was trolling craigslist for hookers and ordered from their website full of borderline pornographic photos of perfect, airbrushed, photoshopped pizzas. Huzzah! There was a special that was cheaper than the usual one topping and included my choice of boneless wings, classic wings or garlic twists, and a dollar would be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I might as well do a small kindness with this demon inside of me and, besides, two dishes are better than one. I’d often get the classic spicy buffalo wings to go with whatever pizza I was getting and by the next day I’d have quite the hangover. I went to the store and picked up healthy food for when I ran out of pizza and my body would be readjusting. I always have good intentions. But from the moment I placed that order I anticipated a magical meal straight out of a Medieval fantasy novel. Who better to chase the dragon with than King Arthur? I love Round Table Pizza when it’s done well. It’s a brand name you can usually trust regardless of which street you end up on in any city. The prices are expensive but you get what you pay for in quality and they rarely rip you off. The purity of the ingredients is tops — it’s not cut with all sorts of artificial filler. There was another location I would go to that was closer and cheaper, but it was in a rough part of town. You’d go in, watch out for sketchy people, hand over your money, get your stuff and leave without getting into any trouble. Even the cash lady had a bad attitude, but they’d always do you right. They went out of business though. This outfit is in a nicer part of town and you’d think it’d show, but maybe it just shows what terrible customers people with money tend to be. Instead, they’re always going through cooks. They will greet you as if they have a policy suddenly being enforced for that day only where they are required to and almost look like they’re trying hard not to look even more unhappy because you just walked in. There have been maybe 6 people of the dozens I’ve seen work there who struck me as friendly. Yet somehow I’ve been a loyal customer for years despite thinking more times than I reasonably should I just got a bad batch. And I always tip on carry-out, often 20−30% and only one person there ever made any sort of show of appreciation about it. Instead, they usually reward me by forgetting to give me the ranch I ordered(sometimes it’s already placed in the box, sometimes it’s not — I check whenever I remember now) or by not offering parmesan, peppers, plates and napkins. It seems like most of them take no pride in their work; not all, but most. I was consistently getting too much sauce, so finally I ordered it light on the sauce and then there was practically none. There’s no middle ground. If I order extra cheese it somehow it still doesn’t fix it. There are big bubbles on a lot of the pieces and spots where there’s sauce but no cheese and places where there is no sauce or cheese, just bread and often the bread is a burnt bubble. The crust rarely turns out like the really good Round Table crust I have learned to expect. It’s burnt more often than any other place I’ve been to. There were only a few times ever I went here and saw the pizza and knew it would be good just from looking at it. Somehow I thought I was getting unlucky, that they would weed out the poor performers, that they might give more attention if they recognized me or they saw I tipped well online before even paying, but I was mistaken. I get home and after discovering I mistakenly selected boneless wings instead of the classic wings online — a pitiable mistake — I look at the pizza. The pizza doesn’t look good. It’s got all the usual signs of a poorly made pie. It doesn’t look uniform enough. There are several large air bubbles, too much sauce visible through the cheese in lots of spots were it’s clumped and not much in other spots, not enough cheese over all and the outside is burnt black just a bit instead of crispy. At least there was plenty of pepperoni and it was evenly distributed, I guess? The pizza ends up being very unsatisfying and the boneless wings are worth remembering just so I don’t ever make that mistake again. I think I’ve given this Round Table too many chances. Every other round table I’ve ever been to, and it’s been more than a few, has made consistently better pizzas. They make way more mistakes too. Oh well, thanks Folsom Blvd Round Table for helping make it easier to curb my habit.

Very disappointed with our visit tonight at this Round Table. The salad was very brown, huge pieces and the spinach was limp and old. They were out of straws and the register receipt was so faint you could barely read it. We ordered a personal pizza. By the time we were on our second helping of salad they brought a large pizza to our table. We motioned it was wrong then waited another 20 minutes for the personal size. The cashier was wiping her nose with her hand while ringing people up.

Called again for delivery today and when they brought the pizza, i realized the dough was a little under cooked. i called the manager who immediately sent me out a new pizza and everything was delicious. its nice to know a place where the manager fixes their mistakes. will be back for round three!

Went here for lunch with a coworker because we were tired of the K Street location lunch buffet since they never had many pizzas out during the buffet and the place was dirty. This place is much better… they always get fresh pizzas out during the lunch buffet, and replace them quickly. The place is incredibly clean, the staff is very friendly. In fact, every time I’ve been here(5 times now to their lunch buffet) a staff member walks around and asks customers if there’s anything they can get them, or if there is a particular pizza they’d like on the buffet. This is one of the best round table’s I’ve been to.

Me and my coworker wanted to try out a different place for lunch here in Sacramento and we chose Roundtable. This was the 1st time actually sitting in and eating at a Roundtable restaurant for the both of us(all the previous times we have always ordered take out in advance). We both had the lunch buffet with drinks since it was lunch time which included the salad bar and the pizza that they serve. They had a variety of pizza which included Vegetarian, sausage and pepperoni, pineapple and Canadian bacon(i think it was canadian bacon but not sure), and there was another pizza but I can’t remember what type it was. All of the pizza I had was very good as well as the cheesy garlic bread they had sitting next to the pizza. I will definitely consider eating here in the future but it can be hard to find parking. The price was around $ 20 for the both of us and we really felt like we got our money worth. Staff working were very polite and I felt that it was a decent environment. Good job Roundtable, thanks!

Disappointment doesn’t even begin to describe my experience at RTP. If I could give them fewer than 1 star I would. Here’s why: 1. Price. For approximately $ 45 dollars we received a large Primo Pepperoni with extra cheese, small Chicken Bacon ranch, and an order of Garlic Bread Sticks. Even if the food was acceptable in quality and taste it’s simply far too pricey for dough and cheese. 2. Service. We ordered take out. Arrived on time. Our pizza was ready. Bread Sticks hadn’t even been started. When we got home the pizza was cold, hard, and stale. 3. Quality. Gross in taste. Tough crust. Cold. No extra cheese. Severely lacking in flavor. 4. Chintzy. I literally had several pieces of their Primo Pepperoni pizza that had a merely half a slice of pepperoni on it. I counted exactly 11 slices of pepperoni on the entire pizza. The Chicken Bacon Ranch was heavy on everything but the chicken and bacon. The Garlic Bread Sticks sucked. I put in a call to the manager the same evening. I was told that I would be contacted. The call never came. Lame Roundtable. Just plain freaking lame. I will never come back, and neither should you.

Every Sunday at work, we take turns picking up lunch for each other. It’s a great co-worker bonding experience and a way to alleviate the sadness associated with working on a Sunday(no brunch for us), but why do we always pick Round Table Pizza? Because it is so good! We always get the Maui Zaui, the Guinevere’s Garden, or the Montague’s All Meat Marvel(love all the names) and all of them have been consistent in appearance and taste(namely, delicious). Having come here over a dozen times these past few months alone, I have never been even mildly disappointed. One thing that really stands out to me however is that whenever I come here the place is always empty. Maybe one lonely soul mulling over his salad or getting her pizza from the fully stocked salad bar lunch special they have, The empty, untouched arcade games beam at you from their little house, willing you to come play with them. But no one ever does(well…I’m sure someone does… but I have never seen them…) I really wish they would do the Tuesday Family Night dinner buffet special like some of the other stores. While I am not a big buffet person, I love pizza! And whenever I went to a Tuesday Family Night with my friends at other RTP locations, the store was always packed with people and made a really high energy atmosphere(complete with the chirp of video games in the background). Check in and get 15% off of your order(score~). I will be back Round Table, and if I rememeber to bring my quarters next time I will try my hand at the arcade.

If you like Round Table’s pizza but not its prices, the lunch buffet is a good option. $ 7.99 plus tax for salad, pull-aparts of garlic and cinnamon, and lots of ‘za. There are usually 3 or 4 pies under the hot lights, including something for vegetarians. It’s a competitive lunch with other buffets in the area when it comes to price and quality. The salad bar is average. Lots of spinach gives you an option besides iceberg and romaine lettuces. The rest of the line is a bit of a throwback — broccoli, onions, baby corn, baby carrots, beets, pepperocinis, bacon bits, shredded cheese, cottage cheese, some sort of Jello surprise, and the usual dressings.

My buddy and I went there for lunch right before Thanksgiving. What a disappointment I’ve been to other Round Tables and they were great. They had a super small salad bar of non-fresh ingredients; the cheese was still half frozen. We sat there for almost 35 minutes and there was no pizza on the«all you can eat pizza buffet». We were hungry and forced ourselves to eat salad. But the real pain came when I was just fed up and asked for our money back. The manager talked to me like I’m an idiot for even asking and then said that I ate a bowl of salad so he’d only be able to refund a few bucks for the pizza part. Fine, I understand but that is not the way to get customers to come back. I just wanted to get the hell out of there. I don’t appreciate being talked down to.

My favorite Round Table in this area. They have never gotten my order wrong and felt after the last experience I’ve had with them I thought I should write a reviews about how impressed I was. As you pizza-connoiseurs know, nothing tastes better then a fresh-out-of-the-oven pizza; and usually the only way to get that is to dine in. With a baby on the way and too tired to cook, dine out, or even pick up, I decided on delivery. I ordered my comfort pizza that I’ve been eating since I was 5: pepperoni, salami, extra cheese and extra sauce on original crust. Being a little hungrier than usual we ordered a 13 pc wings. They said it was going to be 45 minutes which is to be expected. Well, try got here in about 30 minutes and EVERYTHING was piping HOT! Kudos to this Round Table for have nice delivery people, correct orders and HOT food! Because of these reasons they get 5 stars!
