I had an excellent experience renting from Dorothy. She was always understanding and very pleasant to have conversations with. She was very concerned with the property she manages, and wants you, as the renter, to let her know if everything is running smoothly or not. I would definitely recommend renting from her if a space becomes available.

With all the reviews for really really poor property management out there, and one of the best property managers for downtown(Neal Berger) now retired, I thought it a good idea to throw out a good review for a downtown property manager… I’ve been renting from Dorothy for almost a year and a half and I really can’t complain about anything. She manages a handful of properties downtown that are all really reasonably priced for the market. It seems like most of the properties she manages are owned by smaller owners who don’t have a huge volume of rentals, which I kind of like. She seems to have a more personal relationship with her owners and with her renters, and it’s just nice to feel like more than a number to someone you’re shelling out that much money to. Dorothy has a handyman on staff who has always been to my house within hours of any minor call I have made to have something fixed. Additionally, she has an answering service for after hours, which is really reassuring and more than a lot of more expensive property managers do for their tenants. A couple of the previous tenants of my place have stopped by for mail or other random reasons and have all commented that Dorothy was more than fair in returning their security deposit and didn’t try to be sleezy with it in anyway. Also reassuring. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest Dorothy to anyone I knew looking for a rental. There are a lot of crappy, larger property management outfits downtown these days getting a lot of bad marks. If you’re trying to avoid those, give Dorothy a call and see if she has something for you.
