Used to go to this place on the road years ago and it was amazing. Now, they’re trying to be a jack of all trades and have gone down tremendously. Broth Bowls? Pasta? Flatbreads? Give it up and just make the good sandwiches you used to be known for! I used to work in a place like this, adding a million items to the menu usually doesn’t end well. I can’t find a single sandwich that strikes my fancy anymore. Time to go back to square one or go out of business.

Tried lunch again. Turkey sandwich is overpriced and mostly spinach. Soup is good. I will eat elsewhere next time.

Placed a rapid pickup order via their app for bagels over an hour before I arrived but when I arrived nothing was ready and everybody working here appeared clueless and full of excuses. Unacceptable.

First time here, so I didn’t really care for the ordering procedure. The Asiago steak sandwich was pretty good. I did the pick 2 and grabbed the Mac and cheese dish to go with it. Yum. That was really good!

Upon entering, we were immediately greeted with smiling faces. Alyssa the manager was helpful and pleasant to her team and to us. I like it when management is noticeably present to their staff. Nice nicely prepared and delicious food. I love the coffee the paper cups are plus we will definitely come back here again.

I love Panera. They have healthy choices, they have a good selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, and even smoothies. I love their super fruit smoothie, it’s fat free and delicious. I also love their«you pick 2» deal where you can get a cup of soup and half of a sandwich, and that also comes with either a baguette, apple or chips. The staff at this location has always been really friendly to me, and they have pretty quick service too. My only complaint is that the food is a little more expensive than other quick options, but to me it’s worth it because of the quality and health/fresh factor. I also enjoy their atmosphere, it’s a great place to meet up with people, very relaxed. I used to come to Panera to study or do work for hours while I was in college. They also have great bread and pastures made fresh! Personal favorite if you want a treat: cinnamon crunch bagel with honey walnut spread. You won’t regret that one(unless you are counting calories)!!

I come here all the time, and im starting to get very angry. I come at 9pm and they’ll tell me they are done with my favorite soup for the night? Excuse me, but if you are open until 10, I expect to be able to order whatever I want ATLEAST till 9:45, but even then… Extremely disappointed, when I’ve complained about it, the employee just says«sorry» so I’m stuck S.O.L., customer service isn’t important to them

My first time here, had no idea I had to pick it up at the end because I felt like I was being rushed, with no one even behind me, and when I asked for ranch, for my salad, they told me they didn’t have ranch? Like, who doesn’t have ranch that serves salads?

First time here and it’s ok. The dark roast coffee was empty, when I asked if anymore was going to made the cashier was happy to assist but almost a half an hour later and there still is no dark roast. The crew seems to work well together as they are all huddled together catching up on the latest school happenings. The sitting area is really nice and I could see this being a great place to do homework, catch up with an old friend or enjoy a cup of coffee, if they make any of course. I have to say, their cheese danish is amazing.

Tried them for the first time just now. The cashier and manager were nice. That’s all I can say for good things about Panera. I don’t like their ordering and pickup setup but that isn’t important. I put in a take out order and I get a pager for some reason. Do orders take so long this is needed? I sit for a while and they start yelling my name. I walk up and they’re out of one of the items in my pick 2 order. I go back up to the register and look at the menu. After finding something else I tell the cashier but she wasn’t sure what to do. Another person came out(manager I assume) and she also struggled with it. Finally she just refunded 2⁄3 of my bill and sends the cashier to get my order right away. So far it’s ok, they made a mistake but I get a discount. The cashier walks back over with my new order but it’s set to eat in. I remind her it was to go. She apologizes and goes away again. She comes back with a take out bag, apologized some more, and I was on my way. As I’m driving home I take a look in the bag and see only half of my order is there. Had to turn around and head back. At the register I tell the cashier half of my order is missing. She runs off again to find the manager. When the manager gets up front again she asks what soup I had ordered but I just give her my bag and tell her to refund the rest of my order. After all the messing around I have no food and no intention of ever going back.

Great like all other Panera Breads, occasional mistakes in orders but that’s only human right ?? Super friendly service though! Love it

Pretty good. The staff is nice but the espresso I ordered tasted bitter. I know not to base the whole decision on this, however, I have ordered the same caramel espresso with an extra shot twice and they both tasted bitter. I generally like Panera’s so that is the reason for my 3 star rating.

I’ll admit — I’m a bit biased. Panera holds a warm place in my heart. It takes me back to my college days where my friends and I would meet up for a bread bowl or two. And seeing Saginaw progressing with the Panera’s and the Chipotle’s of the world is great to see(admittedly they are chains, but it’s a start!). The cashiers are friendly and efficient. The bread is fresh, yeasty, and delicious. And that’s the basis for most of their dishes. I had the chipotle chicken sandwich — great bread with moist chicken, crispy bacon, and cheddar cheese. The GF had the bread bowl, which was crusty on the outside and perfectly chewy within — she chose broccoli cheddar soup — always a good bet. We couldn’t help but get a large order of the mac n cheese — perfectly creamy, the pasta was nicely al dente, and you could get the nuttiness and saltiness of the cheese. For a chain — this mac n cheese rocks. It’s Pepsi-town here(I’m an admitted Coke fan) — but that’s fine. They’ve got several brewed teas including Acai and coffee ready as well!
