The best bar in the world. Is it a sports tavern? No. Will they have your game on? Definitely Not. If you’re looking for another cliché bar that is tourist friendly with the same Sublime and Jimmy Buffet songs playing over and over again, go back over the Bridge of Lions. But, if you’re looking for a place to sing your heart out to karaōke, dance to a punk band, or make new friends that you’ll have for the rest of your life then Nobby’s is the place to go.

Get with the times! My experience at Nobby’s was mostly good. Great beer and great company! I have two complaints. One is that the credit card machine was down, c’mon its 2014 not 1999 get a working card machine. The other complaint is that there’s these pennies In the bar like glued into it and you can’t pick them up and that pisses me off. Other than that great service and great beer. A+

Don’t let«Sports Tavern» fool you. This is the place in St. Augustine to see live, original music leaning on the heavier side. They have a great beer and liquor selection as well.

We stopped by at the recommendation of some locals while in St. Augustine on a vacation because our it was our friend’s birthday and we were looking for some karaōke. Yes this place is on the ‘rough’ side, but we were on a week’s vacation and were longing for a bar that wouldn’t be playing the same four Jimmy Buffet songs AGAIN. The place was really fantastic and exactly what we were looking for. A little run down, a lot punk rock, some fun games, and hours of karaōke fun. The KJ was a great singer and very friendly, the bar tender was exactly as sarcastic as should be expected. We had a blast singing, dancing, and chatting with locals. I would definitely recommend it, but only to people who don’t mind that the flyer for a show that weekend featured three local bands whose names couldn’t be read over the radio.

Holy shmoly! I can’t believe this has 1 review! Well I will tell you, Karaōke night was excellent. The games were entertaining to watch, and Foosball is kick ass. Bar tender… not so cool. I was doing my fair share of drinking, and I like to have water with my booze because I’m not a spring chicken and I get hangovers like a mother f…(I’m under 25 but old enough to understand where hangovers come from: DEHYDRATION, and other things, but I digress) The new bartender REFUSED to give me a cup of water over 3 times. First few rounds I tipped him respectively, so I figured we’d be homies, but the feeling was not mutual. Another patron heard me order and asked the guy why he wouldn’t bring me water, he said that he was a «bartender»… a real comedian it seems. My friends are regulars, they say this guy was a new bartender and Nobby’s isnt typically like that, but that one guy was damn disrespectful and hella irresponsible. But I gave this place a legit review because the atmosphere and Karaōke was very nice, and they had beer on tap(low expectations I know, but I had a lot of fun) $ 5 beers, but it could have been a «special» price for me… the chick who ordered water.
