I just can’t say enough about how much I love this place. Great food, the owner is super nice and the staff is the best. I always get the same pastrami sandwich but I’m told that the others are good too. From a full on meat sandwich, to Hawaii ham to vegetarian, there is no reason to pass this place up.

First impressions: This is a no-frills sub shop(pics attached). Basic… but clean! There’s no radio/music playing and minimal décor. Menu: The menu is pretty extensive but there isn’t a lot of toppings/sauces for customization (they didn’t have Dijon mustard. Sigh on the«French» front) Value: the sandwiches are on the pricier side($ 6.99 for a 6″). There is no loyalty card or corporate/service discount. Service: the girl at the counter was polite and efficient! :)

Great find on our trip to Michigan. Don’t let the outside deceive you. The baguettes are delicious and the sandwich toppings were very fresh. I think the secret is adding the garlic sauce, really brings everything together. I wish I had this sandwich shop in Ohio!

Baguette was fresh and perfect as expected. Tomatoes were ripe, I farmer actually stopped in while I was eating there to see if they needed a shipment. I was instructed by a lady in line to try garlic sauce or herb sauces. Both were good on pastrami sandwich or chicken which also has thick sliced cucumbers.

What a great sandwich! Hard to find them this good — but they are. Puts Subway to shame.

Always a great sandwich. Inside is clean and the staff are nice. Garlic sauce is a specialty that adds great taste to any sandwich.

this place is sandwich heaven. their sourdough baguette is delicious, and so is their garlic sauce. i have to deduct 1 star for the nickel-and-diming though. for the price of their sandwiches, a pickle should be free – not an additional expense! also, I do not care for the structure of their sandwiches. it gets SO messy because everything always falls out. they have some awesome bogo coupons in the southwest michigan superbook, however, so be sure to utilize those before they expire!

The selection and options at Baguette de France are extensive and I haven’t had anything less than delicious yet. They offer a variety of breads, meats, lots of vegetarian options, cheeses, toppings and best of all, the sauces. A half sandwich is enough for a meal at 6″ but the full sandwich is a bargain and just as good later for a second meal. My current favorite is the vegetarian BBQ with tomato pesto pesto; paired with the Aloe King pineapple juice — it is simply amazing! The other favorite is the combo on sourdough. They delivered box lunches to an event and it was great – the food, the service and the price. Call ahead or get the deal off the website and save some $$.

Hey Guys, This place is legit. One of my top favorite places to go around this area(St. Joe & Benton Harbor) They only sell sandwiches.(Okay, they do sell soups and salads, but the salads are pre-made and in plastic containers.) The sandwiches are best eaten IMMEDIATELY! The sour dough baguette is awesome and even better because it’s toasted! Sauces are good! I like the herb — it’s like 1000 island dressing. I get the combo every time. Whole Sub for $ 1.50(that’s like twice as much sandwich) and Drinks are like $ 2…makes no sense! It’s worth trying out for lunch. You will not be disappointed by the food.

I liked the food but it was kinda shady that they encouraged me to «try out different sauces» but didn’t tell me they were actually charging for them.

Best sandwiches ever. Bread so fresh, it literally finishes baking as they make your sandwich(literally – the dough is only half baked when they prep the sandwich to go into the oven, that is why it takes a bit to get your food.) The sauces(garlic is my fav!) are to die for. And the variety of options – including many vegetarian«meats» makes sure that there is always something to appeal to even the pickiest of eaters. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!

My favorite sandwich in SouthWest Michigan! Everytime I am in St Joe I grab a Veg Turkey Sourdough sandwich with everything provolone and garlic sauce. Im drooling typing this out, it has been too long…

Amazing place. Not only is the food great starting with the best bread, but the service was great. Fast and very friendly. We even got a free sample of their vegi BBQ. Any sandwich is great but my favorite is the veggie turkey with the multi grain bread.

I do hope that this gets read by someone in charge. I really do like this place. It is way different then Subway or the Former Quizno’s that we used to have in the area. So let me tell you about today. Decided to stop by for Dinner for 2. Decided on a Combo and a Chicken Hawaiian. To my dismay they did not have any Chicken and Not only was I told but was suggested to try it with turkey. This will now be my sandwich of choice a Turkey Hawaiian. I was not disappointed at all. Thank you for suggestion

Best chicken salad ever! We also really enjoy the multigrain bread. We always think of Baguette de France for vegetarian friends and family — lots of variety and always delicious. The manager is very customer focused and will let you ‘try before you buy’. There are frequently specials, particularly on Sundays — much tastier than the chain $ 5 ‘footlongs’ and the ingredients are of much higher quality! You can phone in or fax in an order and it will be ready when you get there!

This woman whom I believe to be the owner answered her cell phone with her bare hands and then used the same hand a second later to grab someone’s veggies for their grinder. That was gross. But, I’m giving this place five stars because they have AMAZING vegetarian bbq meatball grinders… I could eat them every day until I die. Maybe it’s the owner’s dirty hands that make them so very tasty?

this place has some delicious sandwiches. the 2 times i’ve visited MI i’ve been totally delighted with this place. they have a really great variety of vegetarian options including a bunch with really yummy fake meats. so far i’ve tried the veggie chicken, the veggie combo and the bbq meatball. the veggie chicken is by far my fave. definitely get the tomato pesto sauce. yum! the lady working the counter was very nice and attentive as well. she even let me sample the sauce before i committed to it. how nice! moral of the story is, i can’t wait to visit again to eat here orrr they can just go ahead and build one here in seattle. :)

I love this place. If you are vegetarian as I am you will find there are many options. Not many places have fake meat on the menu so it was a pleasant surprise to stop in here and get a *ham* sandwich. The sauces/dressings are delicious. Its kinda awesome to find a great place like this in a small town like St. Joe. I eat here whenever I visit. The only reason it doesn’t have 5 stars is because sometimes its a bit slow to get your food.

This is a very nice sandwich shop. The sandwiches are about $ 5 – 7 then you can add on drink, soup of the day, chips, etc after that. You can pick your sandwich, then pick vegs, sauce, cheese, and baguette bread. Like the other review the sauce makes the sandwich. My favoriate sandwich is the combo as well, You can get a half order of the sandwich for $ 1 less, I don’t believe that is a good deal so i get the full all the time. and take half home if I need.
