I look forward to every time I come to St Joseph. My grandparents would always buy doughnuts from here before we woke up in the morning. Golden Brown Bakery has the best doughnuts I have ever tasted but everything that they have here is amazing. Can’t wait to stop in again soon. Thanks for always being around to remind me of my grandparents.

My sweet tooth comes here strictly craving one thing: the glazed cake donut holes! When I first tasted these, my heart sang. They are divine! Expensive at .95 cents each, but divinely delicious nonetheless. Dunkin’ has nothing on these, sorry! I’m told they are baked fresh daily and never frozen; and from the taste, methinks it has got to be true!

I’ve eaten a pastry from Golden Brown on a few occasions.
Their scones are very, very good.
Their blueberry doughnut was also fantastic, which I had last Sunday morning. Pair it with a cup of coffee, take a seat inside, and just slow your life down for a bit. Very nice.
I also enjoyed the loaf of bread that I had from Golden Brown, but unfortunately I am cutting loaves of bread out of my diet.

I’m kind of addicted to going here for lunch… and breakfast. They have 4 or 5 fresh soups to choose from daily and you can get half of a tuna salad sandwich and cup of soup for $ 5.50!
Coming from Chicago where the same combo deal would cost twice as much, I feel like I’m stealing most of the time!
Also? Delicious, buttery croissants. They have them.
The staff is always friendly and the food is always tasty. I’ve probably gained about 5 lbs trying to work my way through their menu and donut selection, but has that stopped me yet? Of course not.
