This lady is not very professional when I went in there with my aunt it took us awhile to get through to her what we wanted and she said about a week they’d be done that turned into a month with no phone call and my aunt went back to New Orleans my mom called last week on Wednesday she said they’ll be done that night or the next day again no phone call saying they’re ready we called her today and she said that she’s working on the last two so all in all she’s very slow and unprofessional she won’t call and update you if you want to know anything you have to keep calling her so I don’t suggest using her and her name is jaynelle.

Prices are very reasonable and the owner is extremely friendly and helpful in picking out frames and borders. As someone who tries to support local business, I couldn’t be happier to find this place for any framing needs.

This place is awesome. Go here, you will not be disappointed. The hubs and I bought a college graduation gift for my bro-in-law’s work office. It’s a super sweet picture of old Busch Stadium. I had called around to a few places to check out frame prices since I had never actually had anything framed before and had no idea how much it cost. Side bar — it’s expensive! Anyway, hubby called Dogtown Gallery since it’s right near his work and the lady he spoke with was very informative. He explained what we would like done(just needed a frame) and she told him it would be about $ 100 to do,(which is hard to quote over the phone and not being able to see the actual item). Sounded good to us, so we took it in. When we dropped it off, we were greeted by two adorable pooches, and the owner gave us candy, score! The owner, Jaynelle, was super nice and friendly. Turns out, I ended up knowing her from my past, but that’s neither here nor there. Jaynelle, helped us pick out a really cool looking red frame, to accent the Cardinal red in the photo and then gave us the price. It was a little more than what she had told us on the phone but we were still okay with it. Later in the conversation it came up about how my hubs had talked to her on the phone and she asked how much she had quoted him and he said $ 100. She said ‘okay, let’s do that then’. Just like that, she only charged us a hundo! Crazy nice! It did take a little longer than we expected but she warned us that it might, due to her being so busy. This didn’t bother us at all, we’re happy to see a local place getting such good business. The red frame turned out GREAT. In fact, after my bro-in-law saw it, he decided he wanted to put it up in his apartment rather than his work office! Couldn’t be happier, highly recommend!

A few months back when I needed to have some artwork framed, I turned to Unilocal and found Dogtown Framing. After reading Steven B.‘s review, I knew I couldn’t go wrong with this place. I was told up from that it might take a little longer than usual due to recent demand, but the friendly lady assured me that I’d get it in time for when I needed it. The frame styles and matting options were numerous, but we finally came up with the perfect combinations. She also worked with me on pricing to not let it get out of control. As promised, everything was ready by the deadline and it came out perfect. I plan on returning soon to get a few more things framed!

Couldn’t be any happier that I opted to support a small, local business today as opposed to one of the larger chain options nearby. I recently had a couple of my personal photos professionally printed elsewhere and blown-up for large 22×28 frames. What neither frame came with was hooks by which to hang them, so all I needed was the hardware. I had been to Dogtown Gallery & Frame Shop once before to have a poster mounted and was quite happy with the result, so I opted to start there today. What an excellent decision. I came in and was greeted warmly by Jaynelle. Gave her the background of my needs and she asked if I had my framed picture with me. I told her I did and it was in the car, and she said, «Sure — go get it and we’ll get it all fixed.» She quickly mounted a couple of small hooks and strung a wire between them for hanging, showing me how the process was done. I had mentioned that I had a second frame at home, so she walked me through the process for me to do that one myself, but encouraged me to bring it back in to her if I ran into any trouble. She then gave me the needed hardware in a nice little baggy for my other framed work at home. I asked her what I owed her, and she said, «Oh, don’t worry about it.» Wow. Can you imagine Art Mart saying that? Exactly why I’ll keep coming back for all of my larger needs and why I’ll spread the word to everyone that this is a place which deserves your business too.

If you EVER need help with framing, GOHERE. Jaynelle, the owner, figured out how to fix my framed wedding present that I was making. She is super nice and I was extremely pleased with how the present turned out. I am definitely going back to have Dogtown Gallery & Frame Shop help me with any future projects. Fantastic prices too! Thank you!

It is with great pride that I am happy to announce that I am increasing my rating from 4 to 5 Stars for Dogtown Gallery & Frame Shop. No pun intended, but Jaynelle knocked this one out of the ballpark for me. She framed all of my 2011 World Series memorabilia. I had my treasures tucked away, waiting to find the right person I could trust with my Jon Pils signed 11 – 11 print and my three World Series tickets. I wanted this framing and matting to match my framed memories from the 2006 World Series. The 11 in 11 World Series meant a lot to me. My birthday is 11 — 11, so I felt a special connection. After seeing how Jaynelle did such a fantastic job on a poster, I knew she was the one I could trust. I brought my print, tickets and my framed 2006 art work in to the shop for Jaynelle to see. She was very detailed, she not only made notes, but she took pictures too. This way she had a visual reference to what I wanted. We discussed things and made a few little minor adjustments, for the good. I love my finished product. My only wish now is for the Cardinals to win another World Series so I can have Dogtown Gallery and Frame Shop frame more winning tickets.

I wanted to get a print framed and came here on a whim. It was a little on the pricey side but well worth it. Jaynelle(store owner) is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. She is upfront with her recommendations but is willing to work within your budget and is very upfront with any & all costs. If I need to get some thing framed again, I will definitely head here again.

Went in to get a picture box to ship my son’s framed art off to college. I walked out not only w/a picture box, but my framed art all packaged and ready to be shipped @ no cost! Thanks to Janelle’s great… customer service and generosity I would definitely recommend this place! This kind of customer service is hard to come by. Thumbs up to Dogtown Gallery and Janelle! :)

cannot possible say enough nice things about Jaynelle & her shop. i had no idea what to do with a ridiculously oversized(and incredible) print i bought last spring at the Printbangers Ball. i called around town — Michael’s, Artmart, another custom frame shop — and all the quotes were outrageous. not only did Jaynelle quote me about half the price as everyone else, she also really, truly cares about the quality of her work. she walked me through all the options, the pros and cons, cut a few costs out for me, and in 3 weeks turned out the most amazing piece of art now hanging in my home. i really can’t thank her or praise her work enough. it’s so nice to meet someone who cares about their job. i would highly recommend her in a heartbeat.

I had great success with Dogtown Gallery. I took in a large movie poster from the early 40’s. The edges were tattered. I wasn’t sure if this gem could be saved. I knew its value was lost due to condition. I didn’t care I just loved my fabulous find. I gave Jaynelle my price range and she met that. No surprises. It wasn’t cheap but I knew if I took this to Michael’s for instance they wouldn’t have been able to handle this job with any finesse or expertise. I would suggest you take anything truly special to Jaynelle. You won’t be sorry. Even with the tattered edges my poster looks great.

I originally had to be dragged into this place. I really didn’t think that there could be anything cool about a frame shop unless you had something great you wanted framed. WRONG! The ladies here are true characters and they have a ton of cool stuff to look at. There is really cool silver jewelry, accessories, wall art and of course framed art. If you want something framed, they have a ton of variations to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised!

I went here to get a very special picture framed that had some damage to it. Jaynelle was super helpful and nice. She took all the time with me that I needed, and priced out a few different options. She was able to repair the damage to the picture and explained everything that would need to be done. This was the firt time I had something professionally framed, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. She game me a discount. After speaking with a friend about how much a different frame shop was going to charge her for to get something framed is when I realized how reasonable Dogtown Gallery is. My friend’s picture was half the size of mine and the place she went to was going to charge her twice what I paid. They also carry unique jewlery, Dogtown logo hats and shirts, and some other cool things with St. Louis and/or Irish symbols. This is the place to go when you want something cool to wear for St. Pat’s day!
