Food was delicious, friendly staff. Stopped eating long john silvers because of bad food and service but this location is the best

The food is ALWAYS made to order and hot by the time I get it home! This is my quick fix when I want some deliciously greasy battered fried fish! And their hushpuppies are decent and flavorful as well!

Not great service. Trash in the drive thru. It’s greasy food and I’m craving greasy gluttonous good. It’s a once a year place for me. Fried food with a side of guilt and a 10 minute drivethru trip.
It is what it is. Needs updating to stay competitive.

Another Lenten season. Another excuse to visit Long John Silver’s on Hampton.
It still seems wrong, with all of the independent fish fries going on around town, to make my once-​a-​year LJS run during one of the season’s Fridays. Tradition is tradition though.
Nixing some of their specials since my last visit in 2013 (unfortunately), I was surprised again at how quickly orders taken at the inside counter were handled. Looking for a parking spot on the crammed lot, with the drive-​thru queue snaking nearly onto Hampton, I expected to wait more than 15 – 20 minutes inside but didn’t have to.
With the food served hot and comparatively quickly during the middle of the rush, there’s not much more that can be asked of this LJS. They’re still handling the seasonal pressure well.

Yes it is Ash Wednesday. But the service is Very slow. It almost always is. You must double check your order. They usually forget something.

I love LJS! They seem to be better than their competitors. I think the portion size is better They have claims too which are great! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Battered dipped chicken is so good the only thing I can say bad is I ate to much and felt bad afterwards but the food was good. Hush puppies mmmm freshly made onion rings ohhh yeah

Have you guys tried this stuff lately? It doesn’t suck, really! I had tilapia with fluffy brownish rice and crisp veggies, it was dare I say delicious?!? Tried the crab cakes and lobster rolls too; very tasty. And the staff was really helpful, they helped me order 1 of everything without paying that way. I’m usually a seafood snob, and yes they do fry most everything. But in a pinch, it satisfies that seafood hankering. Pleasantly surprised I am!
