Just what the Dr. ordered! When we got there, they were busy, but the wait was not as long as anticipated. We started with the guacamole bites, Yums. Took us a bit to build our own burger, so many options but that made it fun. I had ground chuck on brioche, my daughters had ground chuck on pretzel and black bean on wheat. Too many toppings to remember who had what, but we all shared and it was delish. Loved the parmesian fries. We will definitely be returning because we were too full for desert.

Freaking love this restaurant. Choosing either to BYOB or order off the premade menu is one of the hardest decisions in life. The staff are always friendly and the burgers are so tasty. My tip, always order your burger on a pretzel bun, can never go wrong.

I got the burger of the month which is PBJ, pineapple cream cheese, bacon, and fried jalapeños. I added the onion jam bc that’s just so darn good. This was so delicious and cannot wait to bring the hubs back. But the guacamole bites was bar far the best part of the meal!

The guacamole bites are amazing!!! The specialty burgers are also good but can be a bit much. I got the en fuego and would get it again. My boyfriend got the one with the brisket and that was pretty tasty say well. If you don’t like a bunch of fluff on your burger, they do have a build your own option, which is very accommodating. Carondolet square is a cute area but I wouldn’t wander too far in any direction… it can get a little sketch. We will be back for sure!

This being my third time here, I though I’d write a little something. It being a holiday, a Monday, nice outside, and is being in a hurry were all factors in this lunch. Memorial Weekend=everyone is off and going to eat Monday=Stacked has BOGO half off burgers It just took kind of a long time to get seated, to get our drinks, and to get our food. It’s a small place, and isn’t very heavily staffed so I am taking that into consideration. At the same time, we had three beers and wine, two burgers(the wakey bakey and the gobbler) and fried pickles to share all. Everything was yummy. It wasn’t THAT slow, but it wasn’t enough to impress me. Maybe I’m just crabby that it’s Tuesday and I have to go to work today after the three-day weekend.

Nice bar. I didn’t have alcohol, I opted for the«brewed tea». Oh well, moving on the table I sat at was short, really short. Setting a guy 6’6″ at a kids table is… Stupid? So far, eh. Appetizers were fried pickles(meh) & guacamole poppers(ok) I had a ‘build your own’. I should’ve just ordered a cheeseburger ran through the garden because I had no baseline to start. Oh well it was ok. Celery slaw is boring and Amy’s slaw was also dull. We are not big fans of mayo-based slaws. I like vinegar base. I got just a few of the hand made chips, they were good but gimme more than 10! 4 diners, & $ 100 Inc tip. Michele was very nice & gave us 4 spoons for the brownie triangle w/vanilla ice cream. Probably will return.

I don’t usually crave a burger, but a few weeks ago I was really in the mood for one and I knew just the place to go thanks to Unilocal! It was a Friday night around 7 pm and when we arrived there was still about a 25 minute wait. The place is small and there really wasn’t a good area inside to wait. The night we went was pretty cold and standing outside was not ideal, but since there wasn’t a place inside I just sucked it up and stood outside until we could be seated. It seemed like the longest wait ever, but eventually the hostess came out and asked us if we wanted to be inside or out… ummm can’t you see I am shivering out here? I don’t want to sit outside! So she told us that it would still be a few minutes since they don’t have anything available yet. Eventually we saw 2 people leave the bar and at the moment the hostess came out and asked us if we would sit at the bar-YES I will gladly sit at the bar to drink and eat as long as I can be inside where it is warm! We sat down at the bar and there was 1 bartender working. Again, the place is small so having 2 may have been a terrible idea. My date and I noticed that she was«in the weeds» and so we didn’t mind waiting a little extra before she greeted us. We could tell that she had to get a ton of drink orders out before helping us. No biggie. By the time she was able to greet us we already knew what we wanted to drink so it was a quick process. I asked for the«create your own» pad which she had in hand. While she went to get our drinks I selected my items for my burger. I ordered the turkey burger with swiss cheese and sweet potato fries. It was a simple combination. Our server/bartender brought over our drinks and took our orders. She was definitely busy! We each drank our drinks and just enjoyed the people watching. We even noticed that they have a pretty busy«take-out» section. There must have been 5 or 6 people who came in to pick up their orders(which the bartender was responsible for)! She had a lot going on. Our food came out and looked amazing! My burger was so juicy and the fries were crispy and flavored just right. I don’t usually eat everything on my plate, but I was starving and ate every last bite-it was that good! Overall, the food is really good and the location is great for me. I would just like to see additional help at the bar if possible because the service wasn’t as good as I would have liked. We had to flag her down a few times to order additional drinks. I also think it would be nice if they had room for people who were waiting for a table, it is just so crowded inside I don’t know if this is even possible. Maybe with the warmer months it will be better since people can wait outside… but on cold nights and during the colder months this just isn’t ideal. I can see myself going back, but maybe on a less busy and warmer night!

Got a make your own burger, Parmesan fries, and a gin lavender lemonade cocktail. Burger: brioche bun, 60⁄40 beef/pork party, American cheese, caramelized onion, BBQ sauce. Very tasty and huge. I’m taking half home. Fries: not as strongly Parmesan or herb tasting as other similar fries, but passably good. Crispy and show string style. Cocktail: I wanted to love this. Uncle Val’s, my all time favorite gin, lemonade, and lavender simple syrup. Very much up my alley and the kind of thing I try to recreate at home. But this had WAY too much syrup and was sickeningly sweet. It needed to be cut with more lemon or more gin. Quick and friendly service. Very tasty food. Will return next time I want a good burger but will stick to beer or cider for drinks at the bar.

We decided to try Stacked based on Unilocal reviews and, they are close to home. I was impressed with the area, the multiple restaurants and the beautiful fountains and small parks in the 2 block area. I decided to order my burger to my specifications so I called out ground chuck, caramelized onions, tomato and fontina cheese on a brioche bun. The burger was huge, juicy and cooked to perfection. The fries were ok, nothing special but the chips were really good according to my partner. I liked the atmosphere, the people and the food.

Great burgers with a yummy selection of craft brews. Everything tasted fresh and perfect. The only challenge was that although my husband had indicated that he no longer ate ice cream, the brownie came to the table with it on top, anyway. However, I was happy to take care of it for him. We will return.

The food was really good. For an app we had the fried guac and it was good. Now I know the thought of warm guacamole is atrocious, but I promise it tasted good! And the burgers were so good too, I couldn’t even finish it. But the parmesan and herb fries were nasty. They were thin and hard, it was disappointing.

I usually try different things when I eat somewhere but my go-to has become, «The Goat» with a side of potato fries and some Chipotle aoli. The Goat is simple. A delicious burger topped with perfectly sweet carmelized onions and a tangy goat cheese. This burger has the perfect mix of flavors but I usually slap some Chipotle aoli on a few bites for the extra zing.

Food: The INFERNOBURGER is where it is at. All burgers are thick and dripping with juiciness. They definitely aren’t afraid of the fat content in the burgers. It’s the type of burger that makes you want to take a nap afterwards so come hungry. Falling into the burger boutique category, they definitely have plentiful options of toppings, proteins, cheese, buns, and the option to build your own. I have never done that but I think next time I will. Opt for sweet potato fries over the regular ones. And adding fried jalapeños to any burger is a wise move. Drink: Good selection of bottles, some craft drafts and a full bar. Nothing to complain about here. Service/Seating/Décor: I’ve been in 3 – 4 times now, service has been on point every time. Plenty of seating, and a fun casual atmosphere. Perfect spot for a casual burger date in the city or chow time with hungry bros. Specials: Happy Hour App and Drink specials, Mon — Fri, 3−6pm | BOGO Half-off Burgers on Mondays.

All around great experience here. Wanted a place to watch the Chiefs game and enjoy some yummy food. The bar is small but welcoming and the bartender was very helpful. The entire space is actually small, except for the fact that they have a nice game room in the back behind the kitchen. They are known for their burgers here, and for good reason! Lots of unique combinations, toppings, and sides. I was super healthy with my ordering, being that I’m on my New Years resolution health kick, but I think it’s great they they can accommodate for healthy eaters and vegetarians. I enjoyed the black bean burger and a side of broccoli. The burger was very tasty, a little dry, but I mean it was a black bean burger. My boyfriend opted for taste over health and his looked amazing! Cooked perfectly and just sick enough – he got the rooster on a sriracha patty, celery slaw, Swiss and hot sauce. Oh and a side of chili cheese fries! They were great but we prefer melted cheese over cheese sauce. With a full bar, a small but good selection of draft beers and a game room, we will definitely be back. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because halfway through our meal, one of the servers took over bartending and she happened to be one that I saw walking around eating most of the time and never once washed her hands. I’m sure no one else noticed, but unfortunately I did. Hopefully servers aren’t allowed to snack while on the floor and that was a one time thing!

Visited on 12÷13÷15 for a late lunch. Rachel B was awesome– great personality! She told us that Michael Simon had been there for a taping of Burgers, Brew and Que and that he was a nice guy– fun! Anyway, my dining companions ordered the pretzels $ 6.50 and added cheese $.25 and pickle basket $ 5.00. The pretzels looked soaked in grease or butter– gross! I’m not sure if they are deep fried or what but needless to say, I didn’t have any and I LOVEPRETZELS– just not fried, butter soaked greasy ones. The guys agreed and said they would probably pass on the pickles too next time. NOW, my grilled chicken greek burger $ 10.50 was so dang good! I love feta cheese and hummus and olives and pickles and basically everything that made this delicious creation. I went w/a side salad $ 2.00 and the shaved Parmesan was so good and made the salad. I didn’t care for their blue cheese dressing. My fiancé had the Big Kahuna $ 10.50 and agreed that it was a delicious creation. He also said their ranch was good $.25 The other dining companion had the BOTM– a special for the mth $ 12.00. I don’t care for places that charge for a small cup of ranch or cheese. They serve Pepsi products $ 2.25. The guys enjoyed a glass of 4 Hands $ 5.50 and a glass of Schlafly $ 5.00.

This place is really out of my usual way, but I came recently for lunch after a craving for a veggie burger. Parking is street but not hard to find. I LOVE the option of building your own burger. As someone with very picky… er discerning. tastes, I enjoy picking it how I like it rather than saying«no» to some toppings or asking for others on the side. All three of us built our own burgers. And waited… and waited… and waited. Unfortunately, I had an appointment to get to, so the long wait really put a damper on my eating experience. We didn’t expect burgers to take so long(around 40 minutes after we ordered). Our food came and we had less than 10 minutes to chow down as much as we could and leave. I wish I had expected the long wait as I would’ve come earlier. We came after the lunch rush(around 1) though it was busy. My burger was good, but I didn’t get to enjoy it(or finish it) because I was so stressed out about getting to my appointment. The fries were ok. I will return sometime, though it being out of my way, it may be awhile.

Who needs Red Robin and their bottomless fries, when you have Stacked STL in your hometown? You don’t. Stacked STL, will make you a better burger and the serving of fries is large enough that you’ll never need to ask for a second serving. I have a love for a little hot pepper called, «Jalapeño» and their burger; En Fuego has stollen my heart. A big juicy burger topped with my favorite cheese; Pepper Jack and covered in breaded Jalapeños. As if that isn’t enough, they drizzle it with Chipotle Aioli. My second favorite is, The Goat. It’s a simple burger served with melted Goat Cheese and topped with an onion jam. Their fries are made from Russet potatoes with the skins on and fried crisp and seasoned well. As mentioned in my opening, the serving is so large, I can never finish them all. Stacked STL offers an extensive offerings of cold craft beers, that are the perfect accompaniment to two of my favorite appetizers. My personal favorite is Fried Pickles. If not in the mood for pickles, I go with Garlic Butter Chicken Wings. Either way they are winners. The ambiance is very causal and relaxing. The service is personable and friendly, they treat everyone as family. It is ambiance, service and mostly the juicy burgers that keeps me coming back.

So, so yummy! Husband had the Wakey Wakey(would also be a perfect hangover food!) Friend enjoyed the Jalapeño Burger — both had sweet potato fries. So good! And I had the hummus appetizer-very good! We will be back. Great service, superb food-best burgers in STL!

I’ve spent little to no time in this part of town, but it looks absolutely sweet! And we had no problem finding parking on the street at around 2:30p on Labor Day. There’s no hostess station at the door and there wasn’t a waitress around, so we sat ourselves. Mostly because it’s a somewhat small space and I felt uncomfortable standing right next to a table of people eating. I scanned the menu, but didn’t find a burger that was quite crazy enough for my tastes so I grabbed the Create-Your-Own Menu. They have a pad of them and provide a jar of pencils so you can select everything you want. Start with the patty — I was happy to see they offer grass-fed! Then your bun — I went without(I kinda wish they offered a lettuce wrap). Then your choice of any the free choices — lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, etc. Then all the pay extra items. Many different sauces. But I went with the brisket and bacon. The grass-fed patty was very juicy and very flavorful. The two bacon slices were thick and and delicious! I can’t say the brisket was anything terribly special. But it was pretty tender and definitely added to the pile of meat on each fork full. My biggest disappointment — they were out of sweet potato fries!!! Very upset! So, I went with the park fries instead. They were fine. They were thin and sometimes a little over-cooked and crispy and they were mildly seasoned. My husband got some kind of burger with fried jalepenos with a side of broccoli and loved everything!(Although I think the serving of broccoli seemed quite small, especially compared to my heaping pile of fries.) Overall, I’m pretty sure we’ll come back. Probably on another Monday so we can take advantage of BOGO50% off burgers.
